Toni's POV
I woke up while the dime sunlight hit my face. I noticed a beautiful red head lying next to me , her head on my arm facing the wall. She looked so peaceful. As I remembered the night before I smile. I move closer and hold her to my bare chest. I kiss her gently on the back. I smile and start to toy with her hair. We stayed like that for about an hour more and then I start to feel her move in my arms and she turns around and smiles at me. "Good morning baby" she says sleepily. "Good morning gorgeous" I said. She smiles. "I'm not even wearing any makeup yet , or clothes for that matter" she says with a giggle that I swear made my heart skip. "You don't need anything to make you beautiful or Gorgeous. You just have to be you. And TBH I've never seen you more beautiful than you are right now. Laying in my bed , naked , no makeup." I smiled and she kissed me. "Last night was amazing" she said and I smiled. "It really was."
She laid in my arms for about 10 minutes and then she got up. "Where are you going?" I say as she puts on my oversized T-shirt I had. "I'm going to get some food I'm hungry. What do you like?" I smirked . "You" I said and she laughed. "I need real food babe" she smiles and walked out into the kitchen. After about 5 minutes I smell food and I get out of bed and put on Cheryl's shirt that was on the floor. Cheryl's taller than me so it's a little long on me. I walk out and I see her cooking and I smile. She looks like she's out of a movie. I walk up from behind her and wrap her around her waist and kiss her neck. I rest my head on her shoulder and she continues to cook. "Hey babe, i thought you would stay in bed while I cooked for us." I smile. "I got lonely" I say and she giggled. "Oh really?" She turns around and puts her arms around my neck. I nod my head. "Yeah" she leans in and kisses me. I smile. She smiles back . "Mmm.... The food smells great but you better lower down the flame" she looks at me confused. "It's burning". She looks at me alarmed. "Oh shit" she yells as she takes it off the burner. "Sit down babe while I serve you breakfast" I smile and do what I'm told. "Smells great babe." She laughs. "No it doesn't, it's freaking burned." She laughs. "Nope , it's smells better than my cooking." She laughs. "You know what?" I say. "What?". She smiles. "You're so beautiful, and I love your laugh." She blushes. "I love you" she says to me with a huge blush on her cheeks. "I love you too cher." I smile. "You know what else I love" I say "what?" She smiles. "How breathe taking you look in just my t-shirt and nothing else." I smirk. "I could say the same about you babe." She smirks. I get up and kiss her. We finish eating and we go back to my room and watch TV for a while then Cheryl get a call. .
Cheryl's POV
I lay in Toni's arms and my phone starts to ring. I want to let it ring and not get up and leave Toni's imbrace but it just keeps ringing. "Ughh this better be good." I say annoyed and Toni laughs and then pouts as I get up.
I grab my phone and see it's my mother calling.
Penelope : Cheryl , where are you? You're not at Betty's I already checked there.
Cheryl: I'm at my...um other friend's house , she barely moved to Riverdale and I'm helping her unpack.
I say and I look at Toni. It hurt me to call her my friend and not my girlfriend but I had to.
Peneolpe: well child I need the car. I have a client out of town and they don't want to meet me at thistle house our pick me up so I have to drive. Come home now so I can get the car.
Cheryl: mother , it's my car why do you have to take mine , you have yours.
Peneolpe: my car is in the shop again. Now get home and give me the car. I don't care who comes over or where you go to while I'm gone I just need the damn car.
Cheryl: fine, I'll be there in about 20 minutes . How long will you be gone?
Peneolpe: the whole week. I also have other arrons to run so I will be back Saturday morning.
Cheryl: okay see you in a few minutes mother.
Call ends
I go over to the bed and start to grab my stuff. "Where are you going babe? Is everything ok?" Toni asks me concerned. "My mother just has some out of town work and needs my car for the week so I have to go drop off my car, everything is fine." She smiles sadly. "Oh okay, so you have to leave right now?" I smile. "Not right this instance but soon." She walks over to me and kisses me and I kiss back immediately. She kisses me where she pleases trying to tease me but I pull away after a few minutes. "I better put on pants." I say and move over to where my pants were thrown to last night. I start to put them on when I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Do you have to leave right now. I'm really enjoying my view of you in just my t-shirt. " She says as she gets up and wraps me in her arms. I kiss her quickly before it gets heated. She pulls me back to the bed and tickles me. I lay under her in a laughing fit . "Stoppp" "babeeee stoppp" I laugh and I can hear her laughing. "Nope, sorry beautiful. I'm going to stall for as long as I can." She says and starts to stop . "As much as I would love to just lay here with you I can't, I have to go home and give my car to my monster
Of a mother." She moves off me and gives me a quick kiss. "Are you going to come back, I could pick you up and bring you here or if you want I'll pick us up some pop's later and head over to your place and stay with you after your mother leaves. Does that sound good?" I nod and she kisses me one last time and I walk to my car with my stuff. I take off and after about 15 minutes I pulled up Thistle house , I got there faster than usual because I had wasted a few of my "about 20 minutes" promise to my mother, with Toni so I drove a little faster than supposed to but I got there in time. I pull up and see my mother coming out of the doorway with her bags.
I walk out of my car and grab my stuff out. "Hello mother" she looks at me and says "hello child, did you enjoy your day of sins?" She said and I chuckled "your one to talk, and for a matter of fact I did" I smirked and she grabbed my arm. "What did I tell you about disrespecting me? You're such a little slut , I'm so disappointed in your deviance that you make me look like a saint." I look at her shocked. "What the hell are you talking about?" I say and she pulls me closer forcefully. "You really didn't think I know about you and mizz Toni Topaz?" She says. "I ...ummm.." She slaps me across the face. "You're a disgrace to our family name!" She yells at me. I push her off of me. I'm so angry and fed up with her shit. "WHAT FAMILY? The one with the drug addicted father who mysteriously died with his golden boy of a son in a car crash? Or the one with the whore of a mother with a daughter who almost KILLED HERSELF BECAUSE OF THE MENTAL , PHYSICAL,AND VERBAL ABUSE YOU FUCKING GIVE ME!?" I say and she looks Shocked. "We haven't been a family since jayjay and father died in the incident . You haven't been my mother in a while. I don't fucking care that you don't like the fact that I , your daughter, likes girls." She slaps me hard and pulls me closer by my hair. "You stupid child. I don't care about you and your slut of a girlfriend . I only care about the image we keep . You haven't been my daughter since you were born. I never really wanted a daughter. I WISH IT WAS YOU WHO DIED! You know it wasn't even supposed to be your brother and father in that car. It was supposed to be YOU!". She pushed me off her. "I want you out of my house before I come back home. You have until Friday. You better be gone by then or I'll hurt you so bad you probably won't be so lucky to get out of intensive care for a few months. " She slapped me so hard that it definitely left a mark. She then kicked me while I was on the ground. I started to cry. I was helpless. I felt like I had no one. "Do I sand clear?" I nod my head. "I SAID DO I STAND CLEAR?!" I barely get out my words through the tears. "Y e s m a' a m" she grabs her stuff and gets in the car. As she drives away I hear her yell. "Be gone before Friday" and the she's just gone. I lay there for a while and I realized that I needed to get up but it hurt too much. I didn't want to call Toni. She doesn't need to see me like this. I don't want her to see me like this. I call Betty.
Betty: hello
Me: cousin?
Betty: Cheryl What's wrong?
Me: I'm at thistle house. My mother...she... She..she hurt me again.
Betty: oh my God Cheryl I'm on my way. Stay right there.
Me: okay please hurry it hurts.
End Call
Betty's POV
I hung up with Cheryl. I can't believe she did that again. I'm at Jughead's trailer but he's out with his dad so I don't have a ride. I need to call Toni.
Toni: hello? What's up Blondie?
Me: where are you? How fast can you get to Jughead's trailer. We need to get to thistle house quick. It's about Cheryl.. her mom.....
She didn't let me finish
Toni: I'm outside, get out here and get on my bike now let's go.
She hung up.
I run out and she's on her bike and yells. "Hurry up Blondie or I'm leaving you behind!" I run to the bike and we take off. She's going faster than supposed to. I don't say anything because I know that if this was me Jughead would do the same and I know that if this was him so would I. I hold on and we get there in about 10 minutes instead of 20 and she stops the bike and runs off. The first thing you saw was Cheryl just laying there against the door with a black eye and red marks all over her face and arms. I run over to her.
Toni's POV
I pull up with Betty and all I see is Cheryl. She looks so helpless it breaks my heart and fills me with anger at the same Time. As soon as I stop my bike to a good spot I run off and go to Cheryl. "Baby?" I say and I hold her gently. "Toni? What are you doing here I called Betty?" She said still crying. "Betty needed a ride and I needed to see you." She cried. "I didn't want you to see me this way." She says. "Hey...hey.. it's alright I got you." I try to pick her up as gently as I can and Betty gets the door and opens it. I go to the nearest couch and lay her there. "Baby what did she do to you?" I say and I see Betty leaving to probably get the first aid kit . "She...she...she hit me...and.... slapped me...and... kicked me.....she cussed me out... called me a deviant slut....she called you a slut....she told me it was supposed to be me..." She says and starts crying harder and I go next to her and lay her head on my lap. "What was supposed to be you?" She cried. "I'm supposed to be dead." That broke my heart. "Baby it's going to be alright." She cried for a while even while me and Betty cleaned her UP. After a while she just fell asleep and Betty left. I was pissed to say the least. I wanted Peneolpe to pay for what she did to Cheryl. It hurts to see Cheryl in pain . All I want to do is kiss it all away but I know it won't do much especially on the number her mother did on her. Not even fucking Veronica hurt her this much. Now I know why she wasn't in alot of pain when she got in her fight. Now that I see her laying here on me, while I hold her, all of her beat up body and she still looks perfect. I feel like I understand her more than I already did. This just makes me love her more because she could've told me to leave and let her sit there alone but instead when she saw me she had hope In her eyes. I know that everything will be okay. I will make damn sure of it. Peneolpe hasn't seen the last of me and I hope she's ready for a fight because she can call me what ever she wants , she say say things straight out of her ass but she's touched Cheryl . That crosses a line. How much that Cheryl is hurting is nothing compared to what I want to do to peneolpe. I hope she's ready because...
