Hyun mi's POV
"Jimin," I whispered into nothing.
"Hyun mi, Hyun mi," I heard my brother's voice calling out to me.
Jimin's image is slipping away from me. His grip loosen from my hand. No! Jimin!
"Wake up Hyun mi, I'm here," Jungkook's soft voice is all I could hear now.
When I opened my eyes, I can only see shadows. My vision is not as clear as I remember them. Infact, they're worse. My head is numb, I can feel bandages wrapped around my head and my face. I can only move my lips and eyes. My whole body is numb, I can't move.
"I can't see clear," my voice came out groggy and foreign to my ears.
"Nurse! She's awake," I heard Jungkook call out.
Then I heard foot steps coming in and then a flash of light being moved back and forth in my eyes.
"Hyun mi, it's Dr. Harry. Can you hear me?"
"Yes," I whispered.
"Can you move?"
"No," my head started throbbing at the small force I exert to whisper.
"Are you still in pain?"
"Yeah,"
"Can you see me clearly?"
"No,"
Then it was all black again.
I wish I could just wake up instead. This void I am in is so lonely and quiet and painful.

I can't keep track of the time here, day, weeks, months. All I know is that someday, I'll wake up.
When I heard my brother singing near me, I tried again to lift my hand but I can't. All I can manage to do now is to twitch my index finger.

I can do this, I want to get out of here. All I can see here is Jimin. His angry face, his hurtful words.
I hate it here.
I gathered all my strength to open my eyes. Then it started to slowly open, this time I can see things near me. I can see my brother strumming a guitar near me while his beautiful voice ring to my ears.
A smile slowly appeared on my still numb face. My head lightly throbbing but it's bearable.
"You are the cause of my—"
"Euphoria," I continued with a hoarse voice.
Jungkook's eyes quickly snapped at my direction and smiled immediately. He stood up and rushed to my side lifting up my hand to his cheek.
"My sister," he cooed at me and started tearing up.
Finally I am out of that void, finally.
"Oppa," I greeted him.
My eyes getting a bit blurry but I just refocuse it back to my brother's tired but beautiful face.
"Can you see me now?" he gently stroked my hand.
I can still feel the bandages around my face and head snuggly wrapped to secure whatever wound I have in my head.
"A bit,"
I knew I was under surgery that night. I can hear my doctor barking orders at his assistants and can hear a beeping sound. My eyes won't open and my body won't move so I knew I was under anaesthesia. I feel no pain but I can hear the spinning of a gadget and the sound of it as it came in contact with my skull before I got trapped in that void.
Dr. Harry once again came in with a nurse in tow but I only saw his face when he came near me.
"How are you feeling Hyun mi?" his husky voice asked gently. His green eyes focusing on my pupils as he moves a flash light from side to side.
"Tired,"
"Ofcourse you are," he smiled warmly.
He clicked the flashlight off and turned to Jungkook.
"She needs to rest for a bit, she can't clearly see now so I'm going to send in optalmologist later this afternoon and have them prepare her glasses," he nodded and left the room.
Jungkook sat on the chair near my bed and smiled at me.
"I'm so happy you're finally awake," he cheered.
"Me too," I smiled at him. "How many days have I been out?" I asked
"A week," he pursed his lips and shut his eyes tight fighting back the tears that has been threatening to spill.
"A week," I repeated and he nodded.
I was out for a week.
"So I assume it's still December?" I asked.
"Yeah, December 20," he completed.
"It's almost Christmas," I murmurred.
"Yeah,"
That's not what I was concerned about though. Where's Jimin? Does he already know? Did he came to visit me? How is he?
Questions started to bombard my head and Jungkook must've sense that. He shook his head no and I'm kinda disappointed.
Jungkook spent his whole week here with me. When I was asleep. He never left me and I know that just by looking at the dark circles in his eyes. I know that by how tired he looks, how unkempt his hair is.
"Oh," my voice trailed.
"Let's just not think about him yeah? You need to recover," he said.
I just nodded as a response. I really don't have the energy to talk about it so I just let it sit heavily on my chest.
"Just go to sleep for now," he urged.
At the mention of sleep, panic began to rise up my throat, starting to choke me. The beeping of the machine became faster as it responds to the fast beating of my heart.
"Hey, hey, calm down Hyun mi," he suddenly stood up.
"I can't breath," I said my throat constricting.
I'm scared to sleep, I might not wake up. I might continuously sleep.

I felt him hold my hand and squeeze it tight.
"Sssshhhh, calm down Hyun mi. You'll be fine," his comforting voice slowly slows my pounding heart.
The beeping of the machine slowed down as it matches the beating of my heart going back to normal.
I trusted my body and closed my eyes. Jimin is not visible, he's gone.
He's gone together with my consciousness.
