The smaller guy landed beside his Pike with a grunt, he glanced at it then back up at the large man while getting an idea, it was as if a lightbulb went over his head suddenly as he stared between the two. He grabbed the handle of his weapon and got to his feet quick, I went to open my mouth and warn the man but I had no reason to. Just as the lanky guy drew closer, the larger man turned around and grabbing ahold of the weapon with ease, deflecting the blow of the Pike blade while throwing a single punch toward the man.
The punch had a lot of force behind it because the man slid far across the ground before tumbling to a stop, the burly man then threw the lanky man's Pike elsewhere as the crowd gasped at the aggressive touch exchanged between the two men before loud cheering overtook them. I stared in shock as the heaving-chest larger man stared at the smaller man, who slowly pulled himself to his feet, the smaller man cracked his back with a pained groan before rolling his neck with a loud, uncomfortable wince.
"Fuck... that really hurt." The smaller guy mumbled thoughtlessly, taking a sluggish step and almost falling back to the ground. "Damn..." He said, bracing his hands on his knees and taking a deep breath then reaching up and rubbing his jaw.
"Come on, Ronnie." Someone in the crowd yelled amongst the cheering. "I'm actually rooting for your pitiful ass."
I would had laughed if I wasn't so stunned by the crowd's reaction to the physical violence, how could they like such a thing, were their lives that boring and did they really have nothing better to do?
"Shut up!" The smaller guy yelled toward the crowd with a glare, making them slowly quiet down. "Anything but the Rex, Greg would..."
The smaller guy trailed while shaking his head, showing he was no longer wanting to fight and I was sure that the hit wasn't the only thing that changed his mind about competing against the large man. The larger man rose an eyebrow as he waited for the smaller man to complete his sentence, I was curious to know what the smaller man was going to say as well. I looked toward the large man as he glanced down at me and then finished with a full-on confused stare as if he was surprised by my appearance, as if I just appeared before him.
I sheepishly cut my eyes to the ground as I blinked a couple of times and willed my heart to relax, I was in a very serious dilemma and I needed someone to help me out. He was a debonair man with the eyes of a curious boy; and as he stared at me, I was able to get a clearer view of his electric eyes, there were small specks of gold surrounding the intense shade of blue, they were beautiful. I gulped and debated the decision to run, how far would I get? Would they actually let me escape? Will I be free?
"Oh... you do just want a little pussy, huh?" The lanky guy asked, rubbing his swollen, red jaw once more. "Well... take it." A not-so-innocent smile on his face, was he trying to persuade this man to force himself upon me?
"I want my Rex." The man replied, making me cut my eyes to him then drop them once more.
"Pity... cause she wants you." The lanky guy chuckled, making the man look over at me then glare at him as my eyes widened and I suddenly felt nauseous.
"I won't ask again." The man replied once more, taking a threatening step forward.
"Look..." The lanky guy paused, catching everyone's attention as they moved their heads back and forth with the chatter, "We make a deal. You take the new girl... and I guess the Rex, bu-"
"You've have all the things you could ever want, and you come back for a fucking T-Rex? I always knew you were so pathetic." A feminine voice within the crowd spoke up, making us all look toward it as they parted to allow the large man to see who it was.
A woman had very deep brown hair that was nearly on the edge of being black, and it fell in straight waves to her shoulders in a curly, bob fashion. Her glaring eyes were almond shaped with droopy corners, an ocean blue that sparkled in the light with her rosy cheeks giving her a flustered look, well... perhaps, she was flustered. She had an oval-shaped head with very thin lips but the bottom lip was plumper than the top, her nose was aquiline and her cheeks were slightly hollow from the weight she was dropping drastically.
She, unlike me and a couple of the other villagers, wore a Pink dress that feel like a skin-tight tunic on her and it accented her breast and hips, making her have a very curvy figure in it. The soles of her dainty feet were protected from sharp rocks and such from the sandals on her feet, she seemed pretty pampered if you asked me.
"We haven't ate Cooked Meat in days since our Pteranodon was killed by a wild Carnosaurus. You selfish prick." The woman growled as she balled her fist by her sides, glaring at him. "All the fuck we want is some Meat, is that too hard for you to come by, you dickhead? Why don't you grow a pair and move on, go jump on some whores in a different clan like you were before. We all know the real reason you're here isn't because of the Rex, it's because you aren't to keen on letting your 'property' get away from you, are you?" She continued, her glare not lessening as she stared the large man down like he was a smashed slug that squirted on her shoe.
"I came for my Rex. Give me my fucking tame... now!" The man demanded loud enough to make everyone flinch, he balled his fist angrily as he took yet another step closer in a threatening manner. "I won't ask again before I kill everyone in here."
"Take your fucking T-Rex and shove it where the fucking sun doesn't shine! You're not a man and you'll never be one, you're so fucking pathetic and a disgrace to our clan, and you know it! At least you will know it'll be the only thing that could ever love someone like you, you coward piece of shit." She said, turning and walking away with her nose turned up in the air. "Stupid asshole, ass sucki...." The comments continued as she angrily marched toward a building not to far away.
I cut my attention to the man just in time to be able to see the man's lip twitch as he balled his fist up and it was taking everything in his power to not react to the harsh words being spewed his way, I was confused to why they were treating him this way because they were the ones that wanted something he had. The man then turned and headed to a large bird that looked very huge, it had a huge black beak with bangs under its brown eyes, the back of his neck was occupied with large bloody feathers.
It's body was gigantic and it easily towered me, but not the man as it shifted to acknowledge the man beside it, it's wings matched it's blood red body. It's big, large black claws were made specifically for grasping and ripping apart it's prey, I was the size of one claw and I knew that I wouldn't be safe if this beast came at me while in the wild, it'd gobble me up. I looked away from the creature and toward the ground as it started to shake heavily, I frowned as I looked down at it with a little worry incasing my stomach, I was starting to think that my wish from earlier was coming true.
I was going to be soaked up into the sandy ground below and never be seen again, I turned my attention to look around me and felt terror clutch me tightly in it's grasp. I stared at the large creature before me, it stood at least fifty meters in height and easily towered over everyone while blocking a large portion of the sun out with it's oversized head.
The beast sat with his mouth slightly ajar, letting me see it's rows of pointy teeth on the top and bottom of it's jaws, they were pointy enough to cut through any flesh present. I could easily see why the village people wanted a Rex, it was magnificent and could easily protect anyone against another person, I admired the creature in awe, knowing I should be terrified.
It opened it's wide mouth and released a very loud roar, it echoed the length of the mountains in the distance, it's body was dark green with a spiky dark orange spikes that ran the length of it's back, which had dark red specks on it. It's underbelly was a medium brown shade, black circular scales covered it's body with them bundling around the neck for protection, it was a force to see and it stood with it's powerful, thick legs balancing all it's weight, also with it's tail.
The lanky guy climbed off and glance to the large man before nervously cutting his eyes to the crowd. The muscular guy then grabbed the lanky guy by the throat and lifted him so they were face to face, I was shocked as the lanky guy's feet dangled and he squirmed to get out of the large man's grip. I was terrified at the sight of the large man, he looked ready to kill the smaller guy and I didn't want to see him do such a thing, it would only excite the crowd anyway.
"If you ever steal something from me again, you'll regret it." With that, the guy let him fall to his feet and turned to leave with no interruption. "And I'm taking her as the community payment." Her? Who's her?
Me???
"Wait until Greg finds out about this..." I heard someone mutter, making me bit my lip in curiosity, it was the second time this person's name has been said.
"I'm going to get you, punk! You'll see!" The lanky guy said, glaring at the muscular guy as I wished he'd just shut his mouth.
I turned my attention to the Rex as it stood in it's greatness, it was gigantic and I was just barely able to see over it's head to see a very tiny hologram screen displaying a little information about it. The hologram read: [{Hunter}-----493(REX)], I looked forward just in time to see the lanky guy push the muscle guy and the muscle guy threw his left fist, it smashed into the tiny guy's face in almost slow motion to me, I was able to see spit and blood leave the guy's mouth as he hit the ground with unbelievable force.
The lanky guy twirled against the ground and groaned as he slammed up against a close building from the blow, he didn't move as his body fizzed shallowly but regained it's solidness within seconds. How was his body able to do such a thing if he was human? He took pain like a human and since he wasn't moving, I knew he was completely knocked out from the blow.
I looked to the large man as he turned around, I quickly averted my eyes and stared at the ground while my wrist throbbed aggressively, I ignored it as I stared at the sandy ground beneath me because I hadn't moved a muscle. I finally got to my feet slowly as the large man whistled smoothly and the Rex immediately complied, following him as he backed toward my direction with a low sigh that I almost missed completely.
"You'll ride her back." He said with such authority that it made me shiver a little inside and his large, gigantic frame easily towering over me didn't help the feeling either. "Come here."
I hadn't expected for the large man to claim me as I noticed that I had no choice but to go it him, the base in his voice told me so. I walked up to him unsurely, I could feel his anger poisoning the air because he was so mad, I turned to size up the creature with my ripped dress till covering most of my privates but I knew it would only be long before it was helpless to me.
It constantly slid down my shoulder and threatened to expose my nipple, I refused to let that happen as I constantly pushed it back up my shoulder while waiting for the man to help me. There was no way I was getting up this creature on my own while holding my dress in place, the crowd was starting to slowly disperse as they knew the fighting was over, the lanky guy was being dragged away by his left foot as the ones that stayed behind whispered and pointed.
I felt my heart jump out of my chest as the muscular guy grabbed my hips and easily lifted me off the ground, as if I weighted zero pounds. I quickly grabbed a dangling rope from the Rex Saddle and heaved myself up, I was almost to the designated spot when a hand pushed to seat of my butt and it took everything in me not to start panicking.
I managed to get to the seat and sat down while holding the ripped dress tightly around me, I looked toward the people that still remained as they watched us. The muscular guy then secured a rope of the Rex Saddle that I hadn't noticed before, it must of been placed on wrongly and he was fixing it. I felt my stomach turn in hunger, I was so hungry that it was actually a little painful, I needed something to eat and fast.
