It was second period and I still hadn't seen Jungkook, which was strange considering he's always around... teasing me, flirting, being a lovable dick....
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out.
JK💓: meet me at roof.
I put my phone back in my pocket and made my way up to the roof. It used to be his place where he would sit alone, but after awhile it became our place.
I pushed open the door and saw Jungkook sitting on the edge.
It looked like he was.... crying
I slowly walked over and sat by him.
"Jungkook.. what's wrong?"
He took a shaky breath.
"W-we need to talk. About us" he said.
"Um okay. What is it?" I asked nervously.
He sucked in sharply, wringing his hands together.
"I can't do this..." he muttered under his breath.
"You're worrying me" I said.
"It's over" he said flatly.
"What?"
"You heard me. I'm breaking up with you."
My eyes filled with tears.
"But-"
"I don't want to see you anymore. Don't talk to me, don't even think about me" he said.
I bit my lip as tears began to roll down my cheek.
I quickly stood up and walked away.
I looked over my shoulder at him, but he continued to stare straight ahead.
I shook my head and walked inside as the tears continued to flow.

JUNGKOOK POV:
I waited to hear the door close before letting it all out.
I leaned into my hands, sobbing uncontrollably.
I was so hesitant to get involved with her because I was worried she would be hurt by me.
I guess I was right.
I stood up and walked over to the wall.
I angrily punched the brick, causing me to hiss in pain.
The pain went away as sadness overwhelmed by body.
I leaned against the wall and slid down.
I held my bloody knuckle and cursed to myself.
I felt empty.
Without her I don't know who I am.

Me: What the fuck are we going to do.
Esma: i don't know but I'm sick of seeing them like this.

Yoongi: obviously there's something more going on. why would jk break up with her for no reason.

The plan was in motion. Y/N was on her way over, thinking she was studying with Esma, Yoongi and I.
I told her JK was with Jimin at his house.
She walked in the door and I led her to the basement where "Esma and Yoongi were waiting."
We walked down the stairs and she gasped.
Jungkook looked up and met her eyes.
His jaw dropped and he sat there, not knowing what to do.
"Ok bye." I quickly ran up the stairs and locked the door.

"Ok bye" Tae ran away and I ran after him.
He slammed the door shut and I heard it lock.
"TAE OPEN THE DOOR" I yelled.
I sighed. No use.
I hesitantly walked down the stairs and Jungkook just sat there.
I sat on the couch as far away from him as possible.
We sat in silence until he finally spoke.
"So. How's school?"
I raised my eyebrows.
"Really? You're gonna ask me how fucking school is? You just broke my heart and you expect me to make small talk about school?! School has been absolute shit because the person I care about most left me for some girl who I "shouldn't worry about". Was all that a lie? Were you just cheating on me the whole time?"
His eyes grew wide as I spewed out all my bottled up feelings.
"Y/N. I swear to god I never cheated on you once. I never LOOKED at another girl. I only want you" he said softly.
I scoffed at him.
"You only want me? Then what are you doing with Isa? Cut the bullshit Jungkook. I don't trust you anymore...."
"I wish I could make you understand. I'm doing this for YOU!!! I love you more than you'll ever fucking know. I didn't want to leave you, but I had to for your safety.
T-to protect the one person I care about most...." he trailed off.
"What are you talking about?" I questioned.
He looked at his hands then back up at me.
"I can't tell you. I can't risk you getting hurt."
"I'm done trying to understand. I guess this really is over." I said standing up.
He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it, sitting back.
I walked up the stairs and knocked on the door.
Tae and Esma opened the door, standing in front of me with bright smiles.
"So? Are you guys back together?" They asked.
"No." I said, pushing past them.
"And I don't think we ever will be"
