hey guys sorry i haven't updated recently but i have two reasons
1) personal problems
2) IDK I REALLY DON'T WANT THIS FANFIC TO END BC I LOVE IT SO MUCH I'M ACTUALLY STRESSING

Michael went from full of fear to full of rage.
Now he was angry at Luke.

Michael shot off the couch, glaring at Luke. Luke sunk deeper into the cushions, immediately regretting his words, and closed his eyes.
"How dare you, Luke. You came into my home, after hurting my feelings, and you want me to tell you my personal secrets? Who do you think you are, Hemmings." Michael spat, walking back to his room and slamming the door.
Luke's eyes filled will tears.

"Michael," Luke banged against his door again, like he had been for the past ten minutes,"please, just come out. I need to tell you something, and then maybe you'll tell me what I've been asking for."
No answer. Luke sighed, sitting down against the door. "Okay Michael, fine. I'll tell you something anyways."
He took a deep breath.
"I can see these things. Numbers, actually. Above everyone's heads. It's quite unsettling," he paused, "because they count down. Until they die. And I can't stop them."
"Michael, I shut you out, because...."
"On Monday, when I met you, your number was three. And now it's zero." Luke spoke, his voice slightly shaking.
Michael opened the door.

i personally blame quantum-fags for the ending of this chapter
and yeah it's short because chapter ten is gonna be pretty long i think
