I hopped out my rental and quickly jogged across the street, dodging the traffic. As I walked through the campus, I gained multiple stares and other weird looks from students. Grabbing the door, I pulled it open as two girls walked out staring in my face.
"Hey you're Dave Eas..." one of them started to say.
"Mhm" i answered calmly.
"Omg you're so fine in person" she said, looking me up and down as her friend giggled. "Can you take a picture on my snapchat?"
"I would, but I'm tryna stay low right now" I said. "Ain't tryna cause too much attention" I said, not wanting to warn Breah that I was here.
"Stay low.. do you not see the car you just got out of. Ain't no regular college student riding around in that" she said laughing. "Come on please, I won't post it until after you're gone" she pouted.
"Come on" I said giving in, as she excitedly spun around getting herself and I in the camera. I threw my arm around her shoulder, as she snapped the picture.
"Omg you're just so cute" she said touching the side of my face.
I sent her a polite smile and cut my eyes over at the her much more quiet and timid friend, stood to the side scrolling on her phone. "Wassup with you, you good?" I asked her, grabbing her attention.
"Who.. me?" she said looking around as I gave her a duh face. "I'm fine" she smiled back"
"Sooo, how long you gonna be here for" the first girl asked. "Whatchu getting into tonight, the Kappa's having a party tonight you should come through"
"Imma see what my girl tryna do" I said.
"I thought y'all broke up" she said rolling her eyes as the other friend raised her eyebrows.
I chuckled, "Nah"
"Oh" she said.
"It was nice meeting y'all though, y'all take care" i said, looking more so at the other friend than the louder one. I turned walking off towards the elevator to get to Breah's floor.
Once I stepped off the elevator on her floor, I walked down the hall finding her dorm and tapped twice on the door. I heard the loud music that was coming from the room lower, and the locked switched before the door swung open.
"Hey" Breah's roommate Megan said with a weird face.
"Wassup.. B here?" I said.
"Who is that" I heard Cee's voice from behind the door as she walked over. "Oh it's you" she said sarcastically. "I got it" she said to Megan. "Breah's not here"
I swear I hated how your girl's friends acted when y'all was going through something, they can never just mind their damn business. "Where she at?" I asked.
"I don't kn-" she started. "Wait, why are you even here?" she asked.
"Cee" I said making a face.
She rolled her eyes, "Seriously Rell, you broke my friend's heart"
"Thats why i'm here, you know that ain't me"
"I mean, thats what I thought but then you went and proved me wrong" she said.
"It's more to it" I said keeping it short. "Can I come in, or you gonna make me stand in the hallway"
She stepped back, letting me in "I really should make you sit out there" she said closing the door behind us. "So you know I got some questions" she said, as I sat on the couch.
"I'm sure" I said.
"First question.. are you dumb or re you stupid?" she said, sitting across from me on a bean bag. "I mean everything was going so good.. so I thought"
"Like I said, It's just more to it" i said. "It just wasn't supposed to turn out like this, you know I fw B heavy"
"Mhm" she said, giving me a disappointed mom face.
"What y'all been up to though?" I asked.
"School" she said in a duh tone.
"Besides that.. Homecoming was last week right?" I asked.
"And you want me to give you the scoop on if my bestfriend was talking to niggas" she said laughing. "I'm good luv"
I chuckled, "Nah I wasn't even on that" I said, as we heard the locks switch from the other side. I watched as the door swung open and Breah stepped in. "Wass-" I started to say. "Yo who the fuck is this?"
"What are you doing here" she said stepping back a little.
"I came to- fuck allat, B who this nigga?" I asked again, this time standing up from the couch.
She rolled her eyes, "Excuse him" she said to the dude.
"B I'm not gonna ask you again.."
"Why do you care?" she asked, pushing pass me. "I don't even know why your here"
"This what you on?" I asked, looking at the nigga she came in with.
"I'm on whatever the fuck I wanna be on" she said. "We're not together remember" she said, tossing her book bag onto the couch.
"I'm just gonna dip out, aight" the guy said.
"Do that" I said.
He chuckled, "Yo ole Hollywood ass ain't shaking shit" he said, before turning to leave.
"This nigga a fan" I said laughing. "Get ya clown ass outta here"
"Why did y'all let him in here" Breah said to Cee and Megan.
Megan threw her hands up in defense, "I'm out of this" she said, sitting back in her seat.
"I wasn't gonna leave him in the hall" Cee said.
Breah rolled her eyes, "Now I gotta question everybody's loyalty" she said, walking off into her room.
"You fucked that nigga B?" I asked following behind her.
She spun around with her brows furrowed, "Are you serious" she said. "Now I'm a hoe?"
"You acting like it"
"I'M ACTIN LIKE A HOE?" she repeated. "You got me fucked up, you think you can run around treating me like shit and then just pop here demanding answers and calling me a hoe" she said. "Get the fuck out"
"I'm calling it how it is" I said shrugging my shoulders, as I leaned up against her room door, not leaving. "We ain't been broken up from more than a month and you come walking in with another nigga, that's foul"
"HE'S MY FRIEND" she yelled. "And even if he wasn't, it still wouldn't be any of your business"
"Your friend?" I laughed. "How long you knew him.. a week?"
"Jarell leave" she said, looking straight at her wall.
"I'm not going nowhere"
"Why.. you broke up with me" she said. "Why are you still bothering me, leave me alone now"
"That shit wasn't even what you think" I said. "But I think you wanted to be single, seeing that you moving on so fucking quick" I said. "I don't even care to explain the shit to yo ass no more"
"Okay then LEAVE" she yelled. "You came all the way here for nothing"
"Nah I came for a reason, but chalk it" I said shrugging my shoulders as I leaned up form the door.
"Jarell I really don't care, I just want you to leave me alone now" she said. "You got what you wanted, you weren't ready for a relationship and you knew that.. I knew that.. you got some pussy and switched everything up"
"Puss-" I repeated and made a face. "Are you fucking kidding me?" I asked rhetorically. "I let you meet my peoples, I took you on a fucking trip with my family.. and you think that was all to get some pussy?" I snapped. "I ain't never had to do allat for some pussy, even when I was broke"
"Right because you can fuck any girl you want right... GO DO IT" she said, grabbing the door knob. "Just leave" she said, trying to push me through the door.
"You know what, you right..I'm out" I said, walking through the living room, pass Cee and Megan. "Imma let you get back to your hoe shit you been dying to do"
"Fuck you Jarell" she said before, slamming the door in my face.
I scoffed, "Fuck me.." I said shaking my head.
I walked down the hall, hitting the elevator button at least 10 times as if that'll making it come quicker. Once I got to the lobby floor, I quickly made my way to my car and hopped in. I punched the steering wheel, before reaching back grabbing the edible arrangement, the teddy bear and the sorry card. I pressed the button, rolling my window down and tossed that shit out. I started the car, and pulled off making sure to drive over top of it.

The Next Day
"Girl, they just won't let Ryan live this season" I said to Mani as I bite into a slice of pizza.
"Not even for a quick second" she said, biting into hers. "I love Star though, I just hate how they dress sometimes"
"Righttt, they really could dress my sis better" I said, as the doorbell rang. I got up walking over to the door, looking out the peep hole seeing it was Izzy. "It's your brother" I said, warning Mani as she quickly got up, throwing on her oversize sweater she wore over here.
"Took you long enough" Izzy said as I opened the door for him. "Oh wassup sis, I ain't know you was here" he said, walking pass me into the house.
"Hey" she said, continuing to eat her pizza, as I walked over taking my seat.
"You know she my friend right?" Izzy said laughing.
"Mhm.. friend" Mani said back.
"Haha funny" he said, walking into the kitchen, opening the fridge, grabbing a water. "Y'all ain't get me nothing to eat?" he asked, sitting in the chair across from us.
"Theres more in the box" I said, pointing at the pizza box on the table.
"What's this" he asked referring to the TV.
"Star" I said. "And you interrupting it real bad right now" I said laughing.
"I don't know how y'all even watch this shit anyway" he said, pulling his phone out. "This what y'all be doing all day?"
"Yeah since I picked her up from the shop " I said, as Mani hopped up, throwing her plate down and ran towards the bathroom. We heard the bathroom door slam, followed by the sounds of puking.
"Yo Mani you good?" Izzy yelled, as he was about to get up from his seat.
"I'm gonna go check on her" I said, hopping up before him. I walked over towards the bathroom, tapping on the door "Hey you okay" I said lowly stepping into the bathroom with her.
She shook her head, "I can't keep anything down" she said. "Did I make it obvious" she asked.
"A little" I said. "He's concerned"
"Should I just tell him" she questioned.
I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't see why not"
"I don't know Ash" she said, sitting on the closed toilet. "He's gonna go off"
"Standing here for too long is gonna make it sus too though" I said.
"Can I get some mouthwash" she asked, as I opened the cabinet showing her where it was.
"Just come out when your done K" I said, opening the door walking back towards the living room.
"She good?" Izzy asked, as I sat back in my seat.
I nodded, "She said she's fine"
"This pizza made her sick or something" he said, looking sideways at his slice he was eating .
I chuckled, "Me and you eat from here all the time, so I doubt it"
"So wassup with her.." he questioned. "She need to go to the hospital or something?" he asked, as she came walking into the living room, with her arms folded weirdly over her stomach. "You sick or something, you need me to get some medicine or something?" he showered her and I with questions.
She shook her head, "I'm fine.." she said, sitting on the edge of her seat.
"People don't just be throwing up and shit for no reason" he said. "You sure it ain't this pizza" he said, throwing his back into the box.
"It's not the pizza" Mani said lowly.
Izzy made a face, "Soo that's why I'm asking you what's wrong with you girl" Mani cut her eyes at me, before letting a tear roll down her face and she quickly wiped it away. "Fuck is going on" Izzy asked, picking up on the vibes i'm sure. I got up grabbing the box of pizza, taking it in the kitchen, making my way out the lane of fire.
"Umm" Mani started to say. "I really don't want you to be mad at m-"
Izzy cut her off, "Man, I know where this going" he said, shaking his head getting up from his seat.
"Izzy, i'm sorry.." she paused.
"Sorry for what" he said. "You still ain't told me shit yet"
"What you're thinking is right" she said lowly, as I began to wash the dishes. Anything to make this moment less awkward. "I'm pregnant"
Izzy chuckled and shook his head, "You serious right now Imani?"
"It was an accident" Mani said as more tears rolled down her face.
"An accident huh" he repeated. "What did I tell you when I first found out you were messing with that lil nigga"
"I know Izzy, I know" she said crying.
"If you know then why are we here dealing with this right now" he said.
"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT" she repeated. "I'm not perfect, i'm sorry for that" she said, breaking down now crying her eyes out.
"Izzy" i said turning the water off, walking over wiping her tears.
"You knew?" he asked.
"It wasn't my place.." I said.
"So it was your place to keep this from me?" he said, walking over towards the door.
"Izzy she trusted me" I responded.
"So did I" he said, swing the door open. He walked out, letting the door slam behind him as I sat there with his crying sister in my arms. Not too long ago, I had already came to the conclusion that he's react like this, so I was ready for it. Hopefully later down the line he'd understand my decision but mainly his sisters.
