Jungkook and Jimin both glanced down at the folder in the hands of the alpha as Minho tried to play with it. Jungkook spent no other second than to turn the page and see the information of the bodyguard collected so far. “His name is Lee Joon-Ho, he's twenty nine and he's a single father. Well, he doesn't live with his child of course. He's an alpha, has impressive strength and out of all the bodyguards I've looked into, he gave off a heartwarming aura. He loves family and socializing too.” Mr. Xin concluded as Jungkook took out the picture of a headshot of the man.
The bodyguard looked charming with his dark brown almond eyes, sharp eyebrows and bangs covering his forehead. He looked muscular for the title. Of course, his face carried a flower boy look while his body showed his strong side for a guard. Everything within the folder carried all the information about the bodyguard; where he currently lives, where he travels time to time, why he's divorced, why he doesn't have custody over his only child, where he went to study, when he graduated, people he's in touch with and a perfect record listed there too. Jimin looked at the information and let out a laugh after while holding up one of the many pages about him.
“You went all in to see what his life was about in the matter of three weeks! I'm impressed… This is so much work for you and I feel horrible.” Jimin said and looked back at the elder. “You have too much work on your hands… Are you sure you're okay with it?”
“Oh I didn't go all in with the information of the bodyguard, detectives and officers helped me out on this because they're working on looking further into Kyunsji's life before all this unraveled. They helped in to secure the Jeon family and I made my own interviews and tests on the bodyguard. His information on his child is on the back page and where his son lives now with his own mother.” Jimin then turned the page to see a small family picture a long time back to see his ex was a foreigner with caramel skin, dark brown and big eyes, plump lips, a perfect smile that showed deep dimples and her short and curly hair sealed her look. As for their child, he alone looked to be two years old, a mix and had his small afro, almond eyes with double eyelids forming, also having a small button nose too. Jimin smiled at the cute family and nodded his head.
“Seems like he's a great guy! If this information seems to be true, then it's alright to have him here as soon as possible. Does he live with anyone?”
“He lives alone in an apartment. That's all to him, he lives a pretty decent life.” Mr. Xin claimed as Jungkook rose a brow at the man.
"I don't like him…” Jungkook spoke and this made Jimin's eyes blow wide.
“Hey! Shut up, Kookie. He seems nice!” Jimin spoke and Minho looked at the pictures of the bodyguard and looked excited to meet someone new.
“No.. I don't think he's alright. Just because he has a family and lives alone with a decent life, doesn't mean that he can't ever spiral out of place even once. Don't you think it's weird how he suddenly appeared and seemed too perfect? I don't know about this one..”
“Jungkook, there's nothing wrong with him. You're just too overprotective… It's okay to feel a little too overprotective, My love. Yet, he seems alright and Minho is very excited!” Jimin tried to convince the alpha as Jungkook glanced back at Minho who was holding up the headshot of the bodyguard.
“Minho will have a friend?!” The pup shouted happily and looked at Jungkook. Of course, Jungkook just couldn't refuse so he just nodded his head to confirm.
“But that doesn't mean I'll drop my suspicions. You can't blame me for wanting to protect my family at a scary time like this. Bring him when you can but I'm not going to trust him so suddenly.” Jungkook stated and folded his arms.
“You don't have to like him, Jeon Jungkook. It's all about if you can trust him with the safety of Jimin, Minho and the ‘one along the way’ so, he's a shield to you all. You don't have to decorate the shield. It's meant to take hits so you wouldn't get hurt and that's the act of a bodyguard.” Mr. Xin assured as Jimin looked at his own husband sitting there in silence.
“I'd love to meet him as soon as possible. I think Minho would love to see him too.” Jimin spoke and Minho alone giggled at the same time too with excitement. The only one who didn't feel it was Jungkook himself. Growing too overprotective to even smile at how glad he was for Mr. Xin finding a bodyguard. In Jungkook's mind, he alone worried about the safety of his family against this new alpha. Even if he posed no threats, Jungkook just couldn't be so sure. They've been running for too long, they forgot the real feel of what being safe felt like under their own home.
“That's great. I'll have him visit tomorrow to talk to you both and maybe by a week from now. He'll start working for you both. Oh! and Minho too.” The elder finished as Jungkook nodded his head in silence before glancing up at the time and standing up to get to work after. He wasn't fond of the bodyguard since he seemed too perfect and was suddenly available to be a bodyguard. With no history of being a bodyguard or a security guard to gain experience elsewhere, what made protecting the Jeons so special to him?

Later on the day, the scene wrapped up on set with Taehyung as his alpha sat on a seat to watch his husband act. Between them seemed as if things got back on track. No other feelings were hurt and it was finally normal, especially around Hoseok; nothing bothered them and they only handled things with business. Never moving back to as close as they used to be and thought it would be better to stay as director and actor. Of course, there was no hard feelings between the two now and Taehyung was happy that all ended well.
“And SCENE! Good work everyone!! You all were amazing! Now, get out before I make you all clean up. Ah, I'm just kidding! Bring me a churro I'm going home.” Hoseok shouted into the megaphone and walked offset while his assistant followed and producers carried a churro for Hoseok after. The beta then smiled at his director and walked to his dressing room as Yoongi followed him after.
“Smiling at the director, hm?” Yoongi teased and followed after his husband to the dressing room. “You're mine…”
“I'm yours. Stop taking things out of context, Yoongi~ I love you. I just gave him a smile that's all.” The beta responded and started to take off his shirt once he stepped in to see his dressing table filled with roses and gift bags from fans that made it's way into the studio. “Instead of attacking Hoseok each time he looks at me and checks if I'm doing the scene right, attack the fans that track me down to send me these stuff.” The beta chuckled. Picking up a rose and made a smile once he glanced down at it.
“Too much work. Ah, watching over you everyday on set is tough and it's messing with my sleep schedule… But I live for it.” Yoongi complained. Dropping onto the couch and laid back to let out an exhausted sigh. “But I can't say that I don't like doing it. I love watching over you and how you do your scenes.”
“No you don't.” Laughed the beta as he placed the rose down and began to change behind the dividers. “You hate every romantic film I act in since you have to pretend you enjoy watching me fall in love with someone else. It's only acting, Yoongi. If you don't like me acting in romantic films, I understand. I won't do them and I'll be like Jungkook. Acting in horror and action.” The younger claimed and finished changing into his casual and comfortable wear he used before changing into character. Putting on a striped dress shirt with red hearts, long khakis and white shoes as he pushed his glasses up and made a smile at the mirror before approaching his alpha after.
“I won't do that to you. Now, shut up and let's go you nerd~” The alpha said and cracked a smile before he played it off like he didn't.
“Years later and you still try to pull off the ‘swag' attitude. Ah, how I love you, Min Yoongi. My old man~”
“A-Ah you make it seem like I'm some pedophile. Shut up already.” Yoongi retorted to his beta and let out a chuckle, showing his teeth and fangs pointing out as always. The two then walked out of the dressing room together to leave the studio as others wrapped up set for the day.
“My love, can we stop by the store to buy ingredients for dinner tonight? I want to cook this time.” Taehyung requested and ran forward to jump onto Yoongi’s back with a cute giggle after.
“A-Ah! You're killing me!” Yoongi shouted but he still carried the beta and his face alone grew red just having Taehyung cling onto him like always. Just the way he liked it. “Fine let's go.” The alpha gave in so suddenly and made the beta give the back of his neck a kiss.
“You never want to go and I always end up ordering groceries! This is so much better!”
“Don't make me change my mind either.” Yoongi commented and looked back to have Taehyung press his nose against his so suddenly. “Cutie.” The alpha whispered in a blank tone and kept walking with the younger on his back, but it didn't bother his husband. This was how Yoongi flirted in public since he wasn't comfortable doing it openly to others staring. He felt that if he was going to flirt and kiss his own husband, that it was only better to do it for his husband alone. Not for the many fans that watched their every move and not for the cameras in every news outlet. Keeping their love private for their eyes only.
When the couple arrived to the grocery store, Yoongi pushed the cart forward as Taehyung moved through each and every aisle quickly; picking up sesame seeds, soy sauce and pepper flakes to prepare with dinner. Along the aisle, Taehyung then stopped as he noticed a small two-year-old boy following him. It was a small little pup that had the scent of a beta and all he did was follow Taehyung in every aisle until he was noticed by the actor. The pup had on blue shorts to his knees, white socks, black lows shoes that lit up blue lights with each step, and a white T-shirt that said ‘Hi, I'm Ju-won! Nice to meet you.’ The pup was silent the whole time and Taehyung only wondered why this boy followed him everywhere so silently.
“Hi!” Taehyung said happily. Yoongi wasn't at the same aisle since he was trying to catch up, but this moment alone made the older beta smile to himself. Knowing that this boy followed him around in every aisle. “Ju… won.. What are you doing here?” The beta asked as the pup smiled at the beta and ran up to hug him tightly. “O-Oh… I guess you've seen me somewhere? Maybe on television?” Taehyung asked and looked at the pup giggling to himself and still hugging the older beta.
“Daddy!” The pup spoke and this seemed to be the only words the boy understood. His skin was pale and his hair was black and silk. His eyes were round and had some what a similar nose to the beta but his lips alone were plump and red. “Daddy!” The pup shouted louder and hugged him tightly, looking as if his big and beady eyes began to tear up to finally see Taehyung so close. Believing the actor was his own father.
“..Daddy? Oh no… I'm not. I think you're lost. I'll help you find your parents.” Taehyung said and picked the pup up after. The older man almost forgot that this little beta wasn't like Jeon Minho who could speak out full sentences and understand so easily. So, talking to the little one was tough… Taehyung was left clueless with the pup only calling him his father each and every time. At some point, Taehyung actually grew to like the pup calling him his father and it almost felt as if he had his own son while walking around the store carrying him and helping him find his real parents.
