After all the guest have left the party my ma- I mean Jisoo stayed to help us clean. How generous of her. I think this whole thing is weird.
She's my mate and an alpha, I mean I have nothing against it but it never crossed my mind that my mate would also be a girl. It's funny how fate works.
"Jennie."
"Huh?"
"I have to leave but I'll be here tomorrow to pick you up okay" she hugged me, surprising me a bit.
I replied with a simple goodbye and a smile
"So your mate is a girl" my mom said raising her eyebrow.
"I guess?"
"Well, you wouldn't be the first one" , she giggled.
I shrugged, "Should be an adventure."
She nodded, "Hope you had an amazing night sweetheart."
She kissed my forehead gently leaving me alone in the living room.
Well time to sleep I have a big day ahead of me. While going up stairs I started to wonder on how tomorrow was going to go.
The next morning I woke up to people chatting from downstairs. That's weird they are normally quite in the mornings.
I decided to go downstairs and investigate what my family is doing. Reaching the last step I could smell my mates scent.
Shouldn't her scent be gone by now? Why can I still smell it? Once I reached the kitchen everyone's eyes are on me. Crap
"About time you woke up sweetheart" said my dad while laughing.
Everyone in the room giggled, my face flushed red. She is here! No wonder her scent is still lingering here.
"Come have a seat sweetie."
"O-okay."
I was a shocked by how Jisoo was already here. I honestly thought she would have come later and I should have at least changed. I probably have drool on my cheek.
I decided to run up stairs to quickly change and get ready for the day. I swear if I'd know she would be here early I wouldn't have look like a dead corpse.
Finishing I go back downstairs and sit down between my sister and mate. Seeing her talking and interacting with my family made me happy in a way.
"Good morning Jennie, did you have a good nights rest?"
"Yes, thanks for asking" I said smiling a bit.
For some reason that just made my day. What is this girl doing to me.
•Time Skip•
"Mom, dad I'm going to miss you both so much" I said with teary eyes.
"Oh sweetie you can come and visit anytime" responded my mom.
I gave her one last hug followed by my father. Then it was Yuqi's turn.
"Be good Yuqi, take good care of mom and dad."
"Ok unnie, I'll miss you and I promise to take care of them"
I say one last goodbye before leaving with Jisoo. On the other end of the path was a car parked waiting for us. Jisoo kindly opened the door for me and I got in followed by her.
"You must be really close with your family" said Jisoo.
I sighed, "Yeah, they are my everything."
"That's nice", she smiled.
"What about your family?"
The atmosphere turned tense. Her smile quickly dropped. Did I say something wrong? Does she not have a family?
"Sorry, I shouldn't have asked."
"It's okay" she said as she turned to look out the window.
I can't help but start to wonder about her own family. I hope it's nothing to bad. It might take time for her to open to me which is okay because I'll be here for her every step in the way.
We started to get closer to Jisoo's pack, making me nervous. Many thoughts rushed through my head. What if they don't like me or what if they think am weird or something?
I was so distracted with my thoughts that I didn't realize Jisoo calling my name.
"Jennie?" "Jennie hello, we are here."
I snapped out and looked out in front of me, the house look so beautiful. Is this where I'll be living? Wow
Jisoo chuckled and whispered "Cute" silently. But boy did I hear it and now I'm blushing. This is what I get for having excellent hearing.
Distracted by it I didn't even notice a Jisoo opening the door for me. I silently thanked her and got out. Heading towards the trunk of the car Jisoo grabbed my hand.
"Don't worry about it, one of the maids will handle it" she smiled a she led me towards the entrance of the house.
The entire time she held onto my hand now I have the warm fuzzy feeling but I love it. Jisoo then knocked a few seconds passed and we heard little feet making its way to the door.
"Who is it", a little voice called behind the door.
How cute, I awed. There must be a small pup!
Jisoo giggles at the kid, "Guess who it is Jisong?"
Immediately we heard the door open.
"Alpha!"
He ran into Jisoo's arms, I guess she is a kid person good to know. Once they hugged for a few seconds the little boy turned to me. His beautiful smile reminds me of a bunny. Cute.
"Hi I'm Jeon Jisong nice too meet you" he politely bowed. Aww so cute.
"Hello Jisong I'm Kim Jennie."
He then looked up towards Jisoo and smiled even more, jumping up and down from excitement.
"Alpha is it really her? Is it Luna?"
Jisoo and I giggled because of his cuteness.
"Yes I it is pup now let's go inside and introduce her to everyone."
"Okay alpha" he then hugged me.
I was a little surprised but hugged him back. He is so adorable I just want to squeeze his chubby cheeks!!!
Once we made it to the living room, unfamiliar faces looked up to us or should I say me. And that my friends is when my anxiety shot up.
I awkwardly stood next to Jisoo looking down trying to get away from their stares but Jisoo most have notice and grabbed my hand again.
"Everyone met your future Luna, Kim Jennie."
