Scorpius's POV
It was a beautiful Sunday, and not because it was my wedding day.... Yes, I was getting married to Rose Granger-Weasley, or should I say Rose Granger-Weasley Malfoy.... It took us nearly two years, and we waited, together, hand in hand. I organized it, and wanted it to make a surprise to her, and all of the family. She wanted to held it at our manor, being the first Weasley to marry in another house than the Burrow, and proud of it. She chose everything, but the priest. I wanted to make it a surprise to her and the family. I was in dad's room, looking at the mirror: my outfit was pretty handsome, I daresay, I was wearing a black costume, rolled up sleeves and an elegant waistcoat, that Rose loved, black shoes. I was smiling at myself when I heard the door open, and revealed my best man, none other than Albus Severus Potter.
- "How are feeling, man?" he asked, grinning.
- "I'm scared, excited, happy, and very impatient to see her, did you see her?" I said, trying to not look like a child, but failing.
- "She's gorgeous, excited, scared and very impatient to see you, mate! What have you done to her?!" he said, punching me playfully in the arm. The door knocked, and I saw my dad's face appear. "Can I have a moment, Albus?" he asked, winking. "No problem, Mr. Malfoy." he answered, leaving the room to us. "Your mother would be very proud of you, you never let go of Rose, you hold on tight, until today, and forever. You are very lucky. Here, let me adjust your bow tie for you." he said, letting go of some tears of joy. He arranged the bow tie, and he hugged me very tight. I looked at him in the eyes, and we went downstairs, waiting for Rose to show up.
Rose's POV
Today was March the 20th 2026, or should I say my wedding. It took us two years to make it. Today, I will become Rose Granger-Weasley Malfoy, and proud of it. I wanted to get married at Malfoy Manor, just to prove how much I respected the Malfoy name, not just Scorpius and Draco. Whatever they said about wedding day was right. I was nervous, stressed, excited and very impatient to see Scorpius. Admiring myself at the mirror, I looked at my dress: white with lace, in a mermaid shape with a long voile, hiding my hair, let loose with a little bit of curls. I felt like a princess, with my crystal-clear high heels. I smiled at myself, when I heard the door open, and revealed Albus Severus Potter, my soon-to-be husband's best man. He opened his mouth in surprise, and said "Bloody ferret, Rose, you look gorgeous!!" he shouted, smiling at me. I went to him, and hugged him. Tears stated to go out of my eyes, when he noticed. He wiped my tears.
- "Stop crying, you will ruin your makeup that mum did to you!" he said, and made me laugh. "How are you feeling, cousin?" he asked.
- "I am nervous, excited, happy and very impatient!! God, when am I going down to get married!" I answered, laughing goofily.
- "Just remember to breath and don't try to die by tripping down the aisle." He added, winking at me before leaving. I heard the door open, and saw mum, smiling at me. She came to me and hugged me tightly, before letting go of me.
- "Mum, where's dad?" I asked, wondering why wasn't he here.
- "Ronald, he's down waiting for you. Everybody is, even Hugo isn't fooling around, for once!" she added, smiling. She took my hand and we went down the stairs, and found Evie, who volunteered to carry the back of my trail. She hugged me and we continued our way to the priest, or should I say, my own daddy, laughing at my reaction. That's why he didn't come and walked me down!
Scorpius's POV
The reaction on Rose's face was priceless. Albus is a liar: he didn't tell me that Rose was absolutely mesmerizing, bloody beautiful, looking like a princess. She came to me and whispered 'Thank you so much for the surprise'. I nodded my head, taking her hand, and walked towards her father. We faced each other. "Today, we are gathered to celebrate the union of my beautiful daughter Rosie and my soon-to-be son-in-law, none other than Scorpius Malfoy, the son of my long-life nemesis Draco Malfoy, who has become over the years, a very funny friend whenever he gets drunk!" dad said, making all of us laugh. "But first, the vows. Scorpius, if you will." He added.
- "Rose, how can I begin. I had that crush on you since our first year, and you despised me. Then, in 5th year, we became very good friends, and while doing our prefects round, I got injured, and you healed me in less than three minutes. I never stopped being in love with you. You make me laugh, cry and you are my other half. Your dad, however didn't simplify our relationship: when I went to him, to ask your hand, he asked me to play chess, and if I won, I'll marry you! I lost, but he said that he'll let me marry you! And I will never regret doing that! And today, my dream for 9 years ago are getting accomplished. In the end, I love you." I said, and everybody clapped.
- "How am I supposed to beat this!" she said, laughing. "Scorpius, I thought you were very cute, even if dad told me to stay away from you. I did obey for 4 years, but decided to break to rules, just for fun. Turned out you were a total cinnamon roll, and by the years, you made me feel secure! Your father liked me and mine didn't, but in these days, I developed a crush on you, and when I smelled Amortentia, I knew that I loved you. Later, you made me blush more than two times, and made me understand that I really loved. And today, I want to show everybody that nobody is going to separated me from you. Not even death, because I plan on dying on the same day together, holding hands. I love you, to the moon and back." she said, and I smiled to her, holding some tears. "Scorpius, do you take, my baby daughter, Rose to be your lawfully wedded wife, protect her from everything and love her till death?" asked Ron.
- "I do." I said, looking at Rose, who blushed red tomato. "Do you, Rose, take ferret's son Scorpius, to be your lawfully wedded husband, and make him happy, and love him till death do you apart?" he asked.
- "I do." She said, "You may kiss her, but not for too long!" he said. I took her from her waist and kissed her, pulling her off the ground, and twirled around, holding her. I put her back on the floor, and we kissed again. It felt so good, so perfect, so amazing. She broke our kiss, and she hugged me, when I asked: "How do you feel, now that we're one?", "I feel so right, and protected, and I can't help but fall in love with you." She said, putting her soft hands on my cheeks.
Narrator's POV
They proceeded to the cutting of the cake, made by Hermione and Daphne, three levels with lots of flowers on it. they were eating it when Albus and Evelynne started a cute argument about who was better at cake baking: his mom or her.
- "I made a three leveled cake too, for your birthday and you still underestimate my cooking's perfection!!!?" she said, obviously trying not to laugh.
- "No, but, mom makes every week a different cake, so, no offence, but she's better." He added, clearly making her angry by purpose. All of them started to laugh, watching them shout at each other in a mischievous way, or when Albus would grin at her. They continued their quarrel, when they started laughing about themselves and kissed each other.
Rose's POV
After the reception, Belquis went to the piano and started to play a beautiful piece called 'Marriage d'amour' by Chopin, and I went on the dance floor and asked dad. He first laughed at me, then stood up and started dancing goofily. We couldn't stop laughing. Then it was time for Hugo's turn: Belquis played a jazzy song, and Hugo made me twirl and twirl more and more. It was really fun. At last, I went to Scorpius, who danced a very sweet waltz with me: it was perfect. I couldn't stop smiling, or laughing at his smirk, my husband's smirk... Wow, my husband, what a beautiful word. We finished dancing and I decided to go to his mum's grave, at the back of the garden of Malfoy Manor. I walked there, alone, not wanting him to know. I stopped walking, and found a stone, written on it 'Astoria Greengrass Malfoy, 1982-2019, always be remembered'. My eyes went on her name, then on her grave. "Hey Mrs. Malfoy, hope you're hearing me from heaven. I needed to present myself now that' I'm a member of the Malfoys. My name is Rose Granger-Weasley Malfoy, and your son had a big crush on me the day he set his feet on the Hogwarts Express. I need to say that I find him really handsome, kind and self-less, and very cute whenever he blushes. I am officially your daughter-in-law, in hope that you like me a little." I said, putting my bouquet of flowers, snapdragons, on her grave. I turned my face, and saw Scorpius behind me, smiling.
- "AAHHHHHH, you scared me!!!!!!" I shouted, finishing my sentence with a grin.
- "I'm sorry Mrs. Malfoy, I really didn't want to." he said, pulling me into a hug, feeling his heart onto mine. "To who were you talking, dear?"
- "To your mother. I needed to introduce myself, she doesn't know me, does she?" I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder.
- "Of course she knows you. When I was in my second year, I would see her at the hospital every day in our Christmas vacation. I would talk to her about you. Then, I showed a picture of you, that I bought from Albus, and she would always say: It's inevitable for men to go seek for beautiful women, never give up Scorpius dear..." he said, kissing my forehead.
- "Oh Scorpius, I'm sorry. I'm sure she's very proud of you." I said, pecking him on his warm cheeks. "I love you. From the beginning till the very end. Always." I added.
- "Always." He whispered, pulling me into a passionate kiss. We broke apart, and smiled, and walked back to the reception, and found dad, Draco and uncle Harry drunk, singing Hogwarts's anthem. I was Scorpius's wife, forever, till the very end and always.
