I think I was fifteen when I started babysitting Natalie and Eric. They were the children of one of my step father's co-workers.
By this time I was a lot more experienced. I had been babysitting crazy Craig for quite a while and I was definetly more in-tune to crazy kids.
Anyway these people had been nothing but nice from the get go.
When I arrived at their house the kids were still eating dinner. The boy was 5, the girl was 8.
The parents told me their directions and quickly fled.
When the little boy was done with his dinner he got up from the table and hugged me. To be honest it was odd, the only kids I hugged normally were my little cousins but I was ok with it.
So we had a nice evening, it was really refreshing to babysit older kids.
So when I was putting Eric to bed he hugged me again. And then said:
"I love you"
AWKWARD.
I basically said Awwww and then said good night.
I thought it was cute, but a little weird.
