Both girls stared at Mika and Clara with worried eyed. If they were to get an explanation, Lauren knew that Camila was about to get a crash course on the family history. One that was not a happy ending of any sorts. It was more a story of pain and suffering until Hope Mickealson had come of age. But until then Camila will learn about the betrayal and the inner fighting between siblings. who fought jealously and the need to rule the world. Lauren knew this family history like the back of her hand, what she did not know what what her mother and Mika were about to tell them at that moment.

We are descendants or Klaus Mickealson, who was the bastard child of 5. You see the mother of your great great grandfather was a witch, she did some dark magic and when sickness spread she wanted to protect her children, but ended up cursing them instead. she turned them into Vampires. The only issue with doing that though was the Klaus was not human he was the child of a werewolf as well. By having the curse, his werewolf genes were suppressed. For centuries Klaus and his siblings fought and betrayed each other. For Klaus it wasn't because he liked fighting them, it was because he wanted them together. He wanted a family of his own that was united and that had not been corrupted by his mother and her ways. Unfortunately it did not work out that way. His brother Finn had been killed and his brother Kol had been bound in a magical trap. Klaus did find a way to link his Vampire and his Werewolf genes but it was at a cost of many people dying. It was when he met Hayley that he some what got a heart. He found out she was pregnant with my mother Hope. During that time no body wanted her to be born. The first hybrid offspring, many people found it was a danger, a threat. But the Mickealson family stuck together and between uncle Elijah and aunt Rebekah my mother stayed safe. Although that happened there were still many threats and to make sure The purest Mickealson maintained safe Hayley, Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah made the choice of sending my mother to Atlanta where a close family friend had a school that protected supernatural beings. After some time grandma Hayley died and to save us Kluas, and Elijah scarified themselves." Mika states looking at the two girls that were sitting on the bed.
"So I come from a line of murders?" Camila asks
"No Camila, you come from a line of survivors. If the story of great grandfather Klaus and his siblings teaches us anything, it is that as a family we are stronger. As a Family we are better and as a family we can get through anything. The Story of grandmother Hope is the result of those mistakes" Clara says
"My mother lived through the deaths of not just her mother but also the death of two men that loved her till no end. She was only 15 when it happened. Her father was never very affectionate but he did show her that he loved her with no boundaries by the way he treated her as an adult and not a child. My mother always said the my grandfather's last words to her before he scarified himself were the ones that kept her fighting. With our uncle Elijah she learned that being thoughtful and rational would get her a long way and with my grandmother Hayley she learned undying love." Mika says
"One taught her Pain, One taught her patience and one taught her Love" Lauren says with a smile
"Exactly, the pain Klaus felt my mother felt, the patience uncle Elijah showed, my mother imitated, and the love Hayley shared, my mother embraced" Mika says
"So we resemble her most?" Camila asks
"We resemble all of them" Clara says
"When we get angry, that is Klaus, when we show reason, that is Elijah, and when we show what Lauren does with you, that is Hayley" Mika explains
"how does this all tie into me being a Mickealson?" Camila asks
"Tell me when you get upset what happens?" Mika asks
"I lost all rational thought and do things I should have not done" Camila answers
"How about when faced with a difficult choice?" Clara asks
"I look at both sides and determine which will leave less consequences" Camila replies
"And with me?" Lauren asks
"I lose all sense of time and space and never want the moment to end" Camila responds looking into green eyes
"About 22 year ago, my wife, your mother, was taken from me. She wasn't human by any means, She was a werewolf, It seems that she was found by werewolf hunters one day. When it happened I knew she was pregnant probably 2 months maybe 3. We knew she was having a girl because you were conceived on a blue moon. Either way, after she was taken we spent months looking for her. Micheal used all the skills he had to find you both, My sister, Lauren's grandmother moved mountains but we never got a sign. About 10 months after, We found her. She had been left life less in a ditch with out a care. Since she was taken at such an early stage of the pregnancy our family medic determined that the baby did not make it past 4 months. The family was in shambles. My mother became depressed. I was a wreck, I had thought I lost everything. My sister blamed herself, and poor Clara here who was taking Care of baby Lauren didn't know what to do. We eventually found the hunters and let's just say that my sister and I lived up to being true Mickealsons. Lucky for us My mother had died before that happened because we knew she would have not approved. Months later, my sister passed from old age. I mean she was pushing 160. I was the only Michealson male in the family. When we found out that Lauren had inherited My mother's powers we knew that it was a positive sign. With that sign, tragedy followed. The youngest of the Jauregui's were caught in the revelation and did not make it. That alone brought dark time for this family again. About 5 years ago I received some encrypted information making me question the death of my daughter. Then 6 months ago I felt an unexpected link. A link that can only occur with a direct blood link" Mika explains looking at Camila.
"My panic attack" Camila says in a soft tone
"After that happened. I started looking into things more, Hospital records, dates everything. At the end I realized I couldn't do it myself and I came here so my Niece and her husband could assist" Mika finishes
"I had been adopted" Camila starts looking at Mika
"I-I never knew about it until recently. My-my adoptive mother, told me that I was taken to them and that all they were told was I was born in Boston and my mother was incapable of taking care of me." Camila continues
"If your mother were alive Camila, believe me she would have been way more than capable" Clara says giving the girl a smile.
"I wish I could have met her" The younger girl says tearing up.
"You look just like her. And if you have any of her abilities believe me you will be unstoppable" Mika says taking the girl's hands in his
"But I don't have abilities" Camila states
"You have them, they have just been suppressed" Lauren states from her seat
"What do you mean?" Camila asks
"Your necklace, When did you get it?" Lauren asks
"Uh my adoptive parents gave it to me after I had my first panic attack" Camila responds
"It contains vervain and wolfs-bain. Meaning the two things that keep your vampire abilities and your wolf abilities hindered" Lauren states
"Wait what?" Camila asks
"May I?" Lauren asks pointing at the necklace
"I guess" Camila says confused.
"Alright, Mom , Mika I suggest you step back a little" Lauren says then focuses on the necklace as her eyes turn black at night
"Break" Lauren whispers and the necklace shatters into pieces
"Seriously you couldn't have just taken it off of me?" Camila says after she feels the shattered pieces
"If I touched it, My abilities would have been affected also" Lauren counters
"Right" Camila says not convinced
"Okay fine I wanted to show off just a little. But anyway how do you feel now?" Lauren asks
"I don't feel any different" Camila replies
"Mika, go ahead" Lauren says smiling at her uncle.
After seeing the tri-brid smile Mika knew what she meant but he knew he wouldn't do it so he looked at Clara and she gave a small nod giving into the the silent request. Within a second Clara focuses on her abilities and used all her speed and force throwing a punch right at Camila's face.
In an instant, a hand flew up and caught the fist in mid stride, making everyone in the room smirk.
"You were saying Camz?" Lauren says while looking at the younger girl hold her mother's fist as if stopping a full speed hybrid punch was normal.
"How, how did I?" Camila asks confused
"Like I said, you have abilities, you were just never able to use them the proper way. But I think Lauren and I can fix that" Mika says
