I know I normally put these shits at the end but this really been on my mind. Like why?
Jasiah Mason-
On the bright side, he answered my FaceTime. But, unfortunately he wasn't talking. He was just listening to me talk for some reason.
I probably looked desperate, but at the moment I really don't care.
"Can you talk please? I feel like I'm talking to a wall."
"Talk for what? You're not telling me anything I wanna hear."
"What do you want to hear? I already apologized several times." I said
"Why did you say it?"
"I already told you I just wanted to make you mad. I swear to God I didn't mean it. You pissed me off and I wanted you to be as mad as I was. Although I did kinda go over board with it.
"Kinda?" He asked
"Ok fine. It was wrong. I went completely over board and that was probably the dumbest thing that has ever left my mouth. I get it. It was my fault."
He narrowed his eyes at me before chuckling. I frowned.
"What's funny?"
"You."
I groaned because I felt like I was getting nowhere with this boy.
"I'm serious." I whined
"I know."
"So why the fu...why are you laughing?"
"Because."
"Because what?"
"Because I noticed something."
"Sincere please just say it you're making me nervous." I said
"You know whenever we'd normally get into an argument, and it was your fault, I still ended up having to apologize. Even when you knew you were wrong, you placed me at fault. But-" He started but I cut him off
"I didn't-"
"Don't cut me off." He looked at me like I was crazy. "As I was saying, I'd usually have to make up for your wrong doings. But this time, you realized you fucked up right?"
I nodded slowly, trying to figure out where he was going with this.
"Are you breaking up with me? If you're breaking up with me just end that call because I don't want to hear you say it."
"Can I finish what I was saying without you interrupting me?" He asked in an irritated tone and I dreadfully nodded
I wish he would hurry up. He's raising my blood pressure.
"I wanted you to realize this wasn't on me this time. I wasn't about to kiss your ass for something you said. I was letting you slide with that shit every other time, but I'm not doing it anymore. If you do or say something wrong that's on you, not me. So if you don't apologize for it or say sorry then we just won't talk anymore. I'm not about to keep doing this with you. Aight?" He asked and I nodded for the third time
I'm not about to keep doing this with you.
So that means he broke up with me right? I'm single now? Now I have to hang up and go cry in a corner? Is that what this means?
"Quit overthinking it. I'm not breaking up with you." He said snapping me out of my thoughts
I nodded again. I didn't say anything simply because I felt like as soon as I opened my mouth I'd say the wrong thing, and he would get mad again.
"You gotta grow up, Siah. That childish shit gotta end." He said and I nodded once more
"And you need to talk. Stop shaking your head so much. You look like a robot." He frowned and I nodded again
"Wait! I mean okay." I said
He rose a brow. "You good?"
No.
"Yes." I nodded quickly making him frown again
"You acting weird. What is wrong with you?"
"Nothi-"
"What is wrong with you?" He repeat making me sigh
"You've never talked to me like that before, so I'm nervous. I don't really know what to say at this point." I said
He was speaking in a really demanding tone. The same tone my dad used whenever he was yelling at me. But, Sincere wasn't yelling. He was talking, which made me even more nervous. I felt like a punk in this situation.
"So...are you still mad at me?" I asked barely above a whisper
"I can't hear you, baby."
With the mention of the word 'baby', I immediately felt a bit less nervous.
"I asked if you were still mad at me?"
"I ain't mad. Just a lil' irritated."
"You still love me though right?"I asked
"Do you really have to ask that?"
I shrugged. " I mean, I don't know. You don't look very loving at the moment."
"So? That doesn't mean I don't love you. If I didn't I wouldn't be on the phone with you right now."
"But you hung up on me yesterday, so that means you didn't love me yesterday!" I yelled
But, it wasn't an angry yell, it was a fearful one.
He didn't answer. He just laughed.
"Why do you keep laughing at me? What's so funny? I sound stupid don't I? I bet I sound stupid." I rolled my eyes at how dumb I probably sounded
"You do sound stupid. Real stupid" He said agreeing with me
I kissed my teeth. "See now you're just being mean!"
"But I'm telling the truth. You sound like a lil' ass kid."
"I feel like one too." I mumbled
"How?"
"Because that's how you're making me feel! You sound like my dad right now."
"I have to in order to get through that big ass skull of yours."
I pouted. "Whatever. But seriously you hung up on me yesterday so that meant you didn't love me right?"
"I hung up on you because you sent me 84 text messages that day. You were getting on my nerves."
"You read all of them so it couldn't have been that bad."
"Yes it was. You don't know how badly I wanted to come down there and break that damn phone." He said
"Well you don't know how bad I felt sending you 84 text messages and you not responding to any of them."
"And you don't know how bad I felt when you told me you didn't love me." He retorted
I sighed. "Touché"
"Mhhm."
"Shut up."
"Don't start." He said
"I wasn't starting anything, but okay." I said. "So, besides what just happened, how was your day today?"
"It was straight. You know what though?"
"What?"
"I heard someone called up to the school and told the secretary a bold faced lie. So apparently I'm out of school for a few weeks."
"Really? I wonder who that was."
"Yeah, the secretary said it was someone by the name of Jasiah Mason? You know who that is?"
"Never heard of her."
"Sure you don't." He said. "Aye what's with the surprise? You never told me what it was."
"I can't tell you what it is yet." I said
"Why not? You pregnant or something?" He asked raising a brow
I frowned. "No. Why would I be pregnant?"
"It was just a guess since you act like you can't tell me what it is."
"I can't tell you what it is. That's why I said it's a surprise. It's not a surprise if you know what it is."
"How about you tell me and I pretend like I don't know when it happens." He said
"No."
"Why you tell me you had a surprise for me in the first place if you were going to take forever and a damn day to tell me what it is?" He asked in annoyance
"Because I was excited and I couldn't hold it in anymore."
"Well get excited again and tell me what it is." He mugged me
"If I tell you I'm cancelling the plans." I said making him kiss his teeth
"Nevermind then."
"You'll be here in a few days, so you don't have much longer to wait."
"That didn't make me feel better." He said
"Unfortunately I don't care. You'll just have to wait."
He took his eyes off the screen as I overheard someone yell his name.
"What!?" He yelled back
"Come here!" The person yelled
I couldn't tell if it was a male or female voice.
Sincere huffed and walked out of his room to wherever. I couldn't tell where he went.
"What?" Sincere repeated
"I need the remote." The person which I now realize was a male said
"Bitch if you don't getcho lazy ass up!" Sincere yelled as the other person let out a loud, obnoxious laugh.
"I'm just fuckin' wit' ya. I see yo' ass ain't depressed no fucking more."
"I wasn't depressed."
"Lie again motherfucker."
"Shut the fuck up. I'm tired of yo' ass." Sincere said
"You angry jhit ?"
"I'm beating ya ass when I get off the phone. " Sincere smirked at whoever he was talking to
"You know damn well you can't beat me. Who you on the phone with anyway?" The person snatched his phone and got all up in the camera and waved at me
I laughed and waved back.
"Damn nigga! How you pull that? Aye lil' mama you want to drop his ass and come fuck with a real one?" He asked
"Snoop move yo ugly ass out the way! She don't want you."
"How you know? She ain't answer my question."
"And she ain't gon' ever answer it either." Sincere said to Snoop
"I'm playing. But aye that nigga Jace finna slide through."
"Aight tell me when he get here." Sincere said. "I'm going back to my room."
"Aight. Bye girlfriend!" Snoop yelled making me laugh
Sincere shook his head before going back to his room.
"Awww you made more friends!" I cheered
"You said that like I'm some type of loner or something." He said
"You just didn't talk to people that much that's all. I'm happy you got out of that though."
"Yeah me too, I guess."
"You should be. It's nice to have friends. But, I'm gonna let you go hang with your friends. I'll call you some other time."
"Aight. I love you."
"I love you too. See you in a few days!"

Soooo it's gone be a couple more chapters and then I'm skipping straight to Sincere graduation.
And if you haven't noticed, the point of this story is to show how Jasiah progressess (I think that's how you spell that🤔) throughout her life.
