3 years Later:
He stood on the top of the skyscraper.
He was overlooking the aftermath of the apocalypse that wiped out all of humanity.
He was the only one left.
Not one sign of life for miles it seemed, just endless barren land.
It was peaceful for some reason, the world was quiet.
The only voice he could hear was his own.
But then he remembered it's not over yet, he knew it wasn't the end because, in the end, everything gets okay but nothing seemed satisifying to him, not yet.
But soon it will, his patience would finally pay off today and he can do what he waited for 3 years.
After all these years he wasn't the Alex the world used to know. He smirked knowing the day had finally come, in his seldom smile he hid his pain.
With each second passing by, he got closer and closer to his destination, ready to alter the fate of thousands.
