Billie's POV
I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard Josie. I turned around to face her as I walked back up to the side of the bed.
"You don't have to if you don't want to, I just-" She drunkenly rambled.
"Josie," I stopped her, "I want to."
I saw a smile grow on her face at my words as the apples of her cheeks turned a shade of pink.
I walked to the opposite side of the bed, turned off the light, and crawled underneath the soft blankets.
Josie rolled onto her side so that she was facing me and tilted her head at me as she seemed to be studying me.
"Can you, like, stop looking at me like that?" I chuckled, trying to hide my blush.
She giggled and shook her head at me.
"I can't help it, you're just really cute." She said very casually as she leaned back into the pillows, already half asleep.
"Shut up," I smirked at her words, "Come here."
I opened my arm for her to cuddle into my sidd. She lazily obeyed, scooting into my embrace. She rested her head on my chest and hugged my body, giving me a warm feeling on the inside. I let my arms wrap around her small frame and let out a content sigh.
I wonder if she meant all this or if it was just the alcohol talking?
Soon I shut my eyes and let sleep take over.

Josie's POV
I felt sunlight through my shut eyes and was slowly brought out of my slumber. I opened my eyes and looked around slightly confused.
As I looked around I realized that I was laying on top of someone. I felt a wave of panic cross over me as I rolled off them.
I glanced down to see a sleeping Billie, looking extremely peaceful and beautiful. How does someone look so effortlessly beautiful all the fucking time? Even when they are sleeping?
I woke up fucking cuddling Billie.
My eyes went wide at my realization. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and leaned on my knees as flashbacks from last night came back to me.
Everything that happened with Billie: our moment we shared outside the party, her tucking me in for bed, and me asking her to stay with me all came back to me in bits and pieces. Sure some things are blurred, but for the most part I remember what all happened.
I can't believe I fucking did that, but what I couldn't believe even more is that she stayed. And she cuddled me all night.
"Good morning." She yawned as she sat up.
I turned and looked at her with a small, shy smile unsure of how to act around her right now.
I don't know what any of this means. Am I into her? Is she into me?
"Morning." I replied.
"How'd you sleep?"
"Really good." I grinned as I looked down at the floor.
"Me too." She returned the smile, a small blush forming on her cheeks.
Do I bring up last night? Do I let her bring up last night? Maybe I'm just overthinking everything and last night didn't mean anything to her.
"Want to go see if everyones up?" I asked her, not sure of what to say to her right now.
She nodded as she threw the covers off herself and climbed out of bed. We both quietly walked to the kitchen where everyone was sitting around the kitchen island, eating breakfast.
"Look who's alive!" Camila said as I walked up to her, sitting next to her on the tall bar stools.
I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"Just in time, I made breakfast." Isaac said as he placed one final pancake on a large plate that had a large stack of them on it.
"Aye thanks bro." Billie said as she sat down as well.
Camila turned and gave me wide eyes as she gestured to Billie and I.
"I'll fill you in later." I whispered to her, her nodding in response.
"How are you feeling?" Elijah said as he stood behind me, holding the platter of pancakes.
"Honestly, I feel great." I said in a shocked tone.
"Hmm, I wonder why." He said in a sarcastic tone as he looked at Billie then back at me.
I immediately felt my cheeks heat up and I began to fidget in my seat due to being uncomfortable.
"Give me a damn pancake." Billie changed the topic, grabbing one from the plate he held.
"I second that!" I said, grabbing one as well.
—
"Well everyone I think we are going to head out." Camila said as she stood up from the table after we all sat around and talked for about an hour.
"Thank you for a lit ass night." I laughed as I got up as well.
I went and gave the twins both a hug and said goodbye before I approached Billie.
"Thank you again for taking care of me last night." I said shyly.
"Anytime," she smiled, "I'll see you soon?"
"For sure." I blushed as she gave me a hug.
Then Camila and I made it back out to our car.
"What the fuck happened last night?" Mila asked me the second we climbed into the car.
"I'm not even completely sure." I shrugged.
"So you and Billie?" She raised a brow.
"Nothing happened really."
"Well what did happen?" She glanced at me, shifting her eyes from the road for a second.
"We had a moment back at the party when we were outside, which you so kindly interrupted." I rolled my eyes playfully.
"If I would've known, I wouldn't have. You know that." She defended herself.
"I know, it's fine." I laughed.
"Then I might've asked her to stay with me last night when I was drunk." I twiddled my fingers.
Camila gasped at me.
"And she did." I added, leaving out the details.
"I told you, she's into you." Camila commented and for once I might actually believe her.
I just smiled to myself as I reminisced on what all occurred last night.
Maybe I do like Billie.

Billies POV
As Josie and Camila left I felt all eyes fall on me.
"What?" I acted stupid.
"You went to put Josie to bed last night and just never came back." Eli raised a brow.
"It wasn't even like that bro." I denied.
"Billie, you're blushing." Isaac laughed.
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes at him.

I liked her post, then set my phone down to think.
Last night has me fucked up. I don't know what to make of it. Josie was completely wasted so I don't know if I should take anything seriously or not. This morning was different though. She seemed different around me, so she must remember right?
I grabbed my phone and created a new text message to her. I typed it out before hesitating on if I should hit send or not.
I took a deep breath and sent it.
