❝she was a storm that complained about the rain❞ More

from an unapologetic poet
it's not you it's me
here's to me
second skin
hypocrite
when someone "has it worse"
burning bridges
the art of not feeling a thing
stuck
words scar deep
six feet under
why'd you give up on us?
just a girl
please
broken girls & broken boys
spare me a broken heart
heartless
don't compare your pain
please don't fall for me
things you'll never know
my ghost
lovers in a dream
the shell of a girl i used to be
always you
the biggest lie
tear me apart
numb
"you deserve better"
all my love
nothing breaks like a heart
i'd rather get hurt then hurt you
falling
you
you belong
lies i tell myself
was what we had real?
knowing when to let go
break my heart
mirror mirror
forgotten
don't come back
it's always the ones you least expect
rising from the ashes
leaving all of you behind
over you
how do you do it?
fairytales
just breathing
am i not enough for you?
stripped happiness
to the boy that broke my heart
she's the girl people read stories about
self-love
i wish we never met
the thing about knives in your back
little girl
the thing about toxic people
things take time
you don't know how beautiful you are
what loneliness taught me

society's definition of beautiful

"tell me why they hate it
when girls love themselves.
baby girl do you?
cause you can't be no one else"

its a sad thing that
if you don't fit
society's definition
of beautiful, you won't
fit anywhere else either.

and it saddens me
to say that looks are
always the first thing
that people judge,
without knowing
your dynamite heart
and sparkling soul.

-This will forever be a flaw, society can't fix.
