Loren POV
"Drita, How's this?"
I had an interview with a daytime show called "The Real" and was showing her outfits..
"I like it! You look hot mamas" Drita yells through FaceTime
"That wasn't my goal but okay!" I laugh
Briella comes to my room with Ace and he yells
"Mama pweety"
"Thank you baby boy" I give him a kiss and carry him
"Loren.. Blake called." Briella says looking at me
"What the fuck did he want" Drita yells through the phone
"Drita! Ace is here!" I say shushing her
She's laughs and dismisses herself and says she'll call back later
"I'll call you when I'm at your house, there's a party we're going to" she says before hanging up
"What part— never mind then" I say as she hung up before I can ask anything
"Loren you can't ignore him, he's Ace's dad"
"I know Bri, I just don't feel comfortable seeing him. I'm sorry for making you do things I should be able to do"
"Look, he's coming to pick up Ace today. You can do it. I have to go back to the university by 12pm, Blake's coming at 1pm. Just try it and if he does anything—"
"Briella it's fine. You're right! I have to stand up to him and face him now, I've made you do it for me and it isn't fair. I'm sorry" I say hugging my sister
It was true, I never spoke to Blake after finding out what he was doing. Cheating and having affairs. I blocked him on everything and threw his shit out of our old house. After that I moved to a better house and brought Ace and Briella with me. Briella has been the one communicating with Blake and giving him Ace on his days off. I never wanted to see Blake Griffin ever again but today that will change.
"It's okay Loren, just don't let him get to you again. You're a strong woman. You can do this" she says holding my hand and dismissing herself right after
"I'm gonna head out now, I'll be home before 10! Good luck on your interview"
"Bye Bri!" Ace says and I wave "be safe!"
She nods "I will!" And leaves the house
"I guess it's just you and I now buddy"
"Watch movie mama?" He days pointing at the tv
I smile and we watch Moana while eating popcorn and cuddling in bed

Blake POV
"Blake, you cant blame her for ignoring you. You messed up and I honestly.. son I'm very disappointed still."
"I know mom, I'm disappointed myself. I regret everything I've done—"
"AND YOU SHOULD" I hear my dad yell
My dad and I haven't talked since I messed up with Loren, my family was very disappointed and my brother was the only one who tried to communicate with me. My mom tried to talk to me since my father wouldn't but she still sounded upset
"I gotta go son" she says and hangs up
"Hey! I'm gonna head out" says the girl I brought home last night
"Bye Hailey" I say without looking at her
"It's Leia, ugh" she leaves and I get up
This was my life now, a cycle that happened more than it should. I lost my family and have lost motivation to do anything, I haven't been able to concert during games neither and it has taken such a toll on me. My teammates don't communicate as much with me neither, it's usually just during games but otherwise.. I'm lonely. My son children Ace and Ford keep me going and I hope to repair my relationship with Loren one last time...

Loren POV, 12:30pm
"Hey Loren! You have to be at the Real by 3:30pm!" My manager calls
"I will, I'm just waiting for Ace to get picked up by his father"
"Briella isn't turning him in today?" She says sounding confused
"No, she was busy today. I'm gonna have to face him today"
"Oh Loren please.."
"It's fine Maddy, I can handle it" I say trying to sound confident
"Loren, don't let him ruin your big day" she says
"I won't Maddy, I will see you soon" I say hanging up
Ace had fallen asleep and now I was waiting for his father to arrive. I went into my closet and chose my outfit for the interview and packed my stuff so by the time Ace left I would be able to head out as well..
I head downstairs to the kitchen and from the window I see Blake getting out.. as always that man would always take my breath away but this time, It didn't. I felt anger and sadness, I missed him but he wasn't what I needed and he never will be and at that moment it hit me harder than ever..
