When I got back home, the sky had just begun to turn dark. When I opened the door, Craig was there waiting on the couch.
Uh oh.
He sat up immediately when I opened the door, flicking the TV off and looking at me. He tried to smile, but his mouth only turned ever so slightly upward.
"Hey, Tweek," he said, looking away from me, "Where were-"
I spin around promptly walking out the door and leaving as soon as I see him. As I start to walk away from the house, I can hear him loudly fling open the door.
"TWEEK!"
I pick up my pace slightly, until I'm sprinting away.
"TWEEK!! WAIT I-" then he becomes to quiet for me to hear.
I sigh and continue running... not away but not towards the house. I'm not running away.
I just don't want to see him right now...
And it's a lovely night for a walk. Or a jog. Or a run.
People can casually go on runs casually at night.
It's casual.
I'm not running away from him.
I'm busy on a super normal night run.
