There is a noise
Within, which is too
Silent to handle
When you asked...
A numbing ache inside me
With no
Answers, how to be
Muted, when you asked.
When you asked,
"Are you ok?"
"Yes, I'm"
Said the me who wants
To shout
"I'm not".
"What is that scar?"
" Oh! This, it was the cat."
Said me who
Has painted a canvas
Like wrist
With the paint like
Blood.
The deep red one.
"What's with the dark circles?"
"Nothing, just busy
With late night work"
Said me who
Cried the whole night.
"Why So many bracelets?"
"These are for fashion."
Said the me
Who don't want to
Reveal the bandages.
"Why are you crying?"
"Nothing just a nightmare"
Said the me whose
Mind is occupied with
The memories
Of past.
"Are you happy?"
"Yes, I'm so so so much"
Said me who
Sails her boat
In the ocean of
Sorrows and pain.
"Do you have dreams"?
"Yes, big ones."
Said the me whose
Dreams were shattered
Like glass by
You with stones
Like words.
"Have any friends?"
"Many. Even my fingers
Will become less
If I start to count them"
Said the me
Who walks alone
In the journey of life.
"Do you believe? "
"Yes, completely."
Said me who
Considered the word
'Believe'
And was betrayed.
"Do you fear darkness?"
"Yes, a lot"
Said me who
Wears darkness as
Her veil.
"Have any wishes?"
" Yes, so many"
Said the me who only
Have a wish to
Die.
"How can you smile brightly
And look so beautiful?"
"Awww! Thanks for
The compliment "
Said me who
Know the pain to
Fake her smile.
"How can you be so brave?"
No answer.........because
I'm completely
Broken and
Hollow from inside.
I know it's all lie,
But what should I say
When you asked......
