Arjun was sitting with Karan in the back seat of his car lost in his thoughts. He always came with Karan to his house in their breaks because it was the only way he was able to see the girl of his dreams. Pakhi!!!! The name itself was enough to give goosebumps on his skin. When he saw Pakhi for the first time, he was mesmerized by her beauty. She was looking as innocent as an angel.
Karan was very protective of her and he was Arjun's only close friend who knew the imperfections of his life. Yes his life was not smooth and easy going as the world saw. So not to spoil his friendship with Karan by bringing his little sister in between, he always maintained a formal friendship with her.
Arjun knew from her behavior that Pakhi too had a crush on him. She would always follow him like a lost puppy whenever he went to their house. But he thought she was better without him and deserves someone more perfect than him. His thoughts were broken when Karan snapped his fingers in front of him "Where are you lost Arjun? Come we have reached my home" Saying so he got out of the car. Arjun saw Pakhi running towards them as soon as he too got out of the car.
After greeting her he went inside the Manson with Pakhi tagging behind him. He spotted Karan sitting with his mother and went in their direction "Hello my favorite aunty, how are you?" He asked Anuradha after touching her feet. Anuradha kept a hand on his head lovingly and replied "I am fine dear. How are you and your parents?" Arjun expression changed on mention of his parents name. Karan and Anuradha both instantly noticed the change in his demeanor so Karan changed the topic "Mom talks can wait. We both are hungry so please let's have lunch. Right bro?" he said looking at Arjun. He just smiled a little at him and nodded.
Anuradha told "Yes beta come have lunch. Then you both can rest for a while. We all can sit and talk leisurely when your dad arrives in the evening from his business trip. Pakhi you too come"
She nodded and all four went towards the dinning room for lunch. While having lunch, Pakhi choose to sit next to Arjun. He shifted his chair a little far seeing Pakhi sitting next to him. Here he was trying to maintain distance from her and she was making it more difficult than it already was to avoid her. She was now making it obvious for others too to see it.
"Arjun take this halwa. Mom made specially for you" she told Arjun. Arjun took the bowl from her and smiled at her thanking her. Karan look amused at Pakhi. He wondered since when his sister started entertaining guests. He inquired "Since when did you started looking after for any person visiting our home sissy? Even your bro likes that halwa but you are busy feeding my friend only" he said pouting. Pakhi realized that she was only paying attention to Arjun so she quickly took a bowl and passed some halwa to Karan. How can she be so idiot she thought.
After the lunch, Arjun quickly excused himself and went into the guest room so Pakhi doesn't tag after him anymore. Ohh God he was hardly controlling himself from her and she was hell bent on approaching him by any excuse.
