Narrative
"My apologies Queen of Angels," The woman with white hair said picking up the pieces of broken glass, what startled Lucy the most was her beautiful white wings that flapped slightly. "You alarmed me."
"I'm am very sorry," Lucy held a hand out for the woman to grab, which she did. "What is your name?"
"I am Yukino Agria! A servant of the royal castle, which you are currently standing in." She giggled. Her eyes widen as she gasp, she held Lucy wrist and pulled her out of the room with Natsu following.
"W-wait! What's going on?!" Lucy said, Yukino ignored her plea and picked her up. Lucy was in her arms with a hand holding her back for support and another one holding her legs. "Hold on my Queen."
"Where are we going?!" Lucy shouted as Yukino flew rapidly. "I have to take you to the consul." Yukino flew out of the castle, Lucy watched below and saw many other people with wings talking and smiling. "You have to talk to them."
"Who?" Lucy questioned. Finally Yukino stopped in front of two doors, "Don't worry, I'll bring your friend back here." Yukino said before flying off. Lucy held a hand out for her to wait but to no avail. She sighed and pushed on the two large doors. It opened slowly and inside was a row of people sat. They were all older than her for certain.
"Excuse me?" Lucy asked lowly, "I'm guessing you are the people I have to talk too? The consul?"
"Please leave!" One older woman snapped. "We only see people who need to be punished and or reincarnated!" Another said harshly.
Consul members decide who should serve punishment either in Hell or heaven depending on what they did, and they also are responsible for reincarnation. They also figure out each Angel's soul mate, Demons don't have soul mates. Older people die quicker so they give them a nice life after they pass again here. "Does hell have their own consul?"
"Yes. NOW LEAVE!" A man said. Lucy was astound, they would talk to their queen in that manner? Did they not know?
"I will have to ask of you to not speak to me in that manner." Lucy said. Not only was she a Queen she was a human-half angel- and no one should be treated so poorly. Natsu walked up to her and held her shoulder. His tail wrapped around her wrist to get her attention, almost as if saying to behave herself. The members gasped.
"A royal Devil?!" One said. "In Heaven?!"
Lucy showed her tail. Natsu's tail was scaly like a dragons tail, but hers was white, smooth, and slender. It still startled her, her tail worked as another part of her, which it was. She barley had to think to move it, like with her fingers.
"Wait, she has a tail." Some said. Some of them adjusted her glasses but most gasp. "She's the Queen!"
"Yes I am," she crossed her arms, "And I might not understand everything, but deserve respect!"
"Yes my Queen." They all said in unison. Some rejoiced, "Our next Queen has come!"
"To make more sure." One cleared their throats, "Let's see some of that fantastic royal power."
Lucy looked down at her hands, Natsu's tail still wrapped around her wrist. "I...I don't know how." Lucy said quietly. "I'm apologize ladies and gentlemen but she found out about her royal blood not longer then a week ago." Natsu said.
The consul member nodded, "So that means she got her tail today."
"Yes ma'am." Natsu said. "But I can help her and by tomorrow she'll amaze you all with her new found abilities, and on the day of our wedding, her wings!"
They all clapped, it was as if he was a showman showing off his new tricks. Lucy nodded determined, "That's right!"
"You two should explore your new kingdom!" A woman who was harsh earlier said, she smiled sweetly, "And after dark you will stay in the royal chamber, the one all Queens have stayed in."
"My ancestors?" Lucy asked. They all nodded and the same woman spoke again, "So did your mother before she became a traitor." She eyed Lucy, "I hope you won't make the same mistake as your mother."
Natsu's tail let go of her wrist and wrapped itself around her own tail. She held back a surprise yelp and wrapped it around his tail. "I will not."
"Good because your mother did suffer immensely in hell, and will suffer as a new person." She said almost as a threat. "Once you get control of your powers you can look for her, she's in New Jersey under the name of Samantha Jones."
Natsu made a wave motion and in front of him was a blue transparent screen, "I can do it now if you'd like."
"Are you the Devil?" One asked, he shook his head. "I am the Devil's brother, the one to take the throne next."
Some shifted in their seat, they seem to do almost everything in unison. "It's strange to have a demon, let alone a devil, in here."
Natsu nodded, "Understandable." He typed in some words into the blue screen and appeared a woman with blonde hair, it looked like her mother who died five years ago. But her eyes were a pretty green and her hair was darker, almost brown. She was shivering near a cardboard sign in blankets.
"Is that my mother?" Lucy asked. The members nodded, "We decide where and whom they are born from. We let them decide the rest of their life. And her's is not doing so well." Lucy squinted more. "She's small, almost 6 years!"
They nodded, "She ran away from her parents. Found a poor man who said he'll take care of her, and made sure her abusive family never sees her again. Now they live in the streets of New Jersey homeless."
"Poor mother." Lucy said sorrowfully. One nodded but the others scoffed.
"But you can trust me. I'll be a good ruler and give birth to, two children worthy of the throne."
"We hope" Another woman said. "But for now you should rejoice your new position!" She seemed younger and full of life.
Lucy nodded with a smile. "I will!"
Natsu grabs her wrist, pulling her out of the room of judgement.
"I have a question!" Lucy perked with a random question appearing in her mind. Natsu lets go of her wrist and raised an eyebrow saying for her to ask her question.
"Is there a rule on sex?" She asked knowing sex is considered sinful if not done between to married individuals.
He nodded. "If you lose your virginity on earth and die, you are considered a virgin again and, if you have any, get cleared of any disease you had. In hell no one cares. With the Queen and King we are technically not supposed to have sex yet." He looked at a woman talking to her soulmate. "But I broke that rule when I had sex with Lisanna."
"Oh I also broke that rule." She frowned. "With a gross man named Loke." She faked a gag.
"Regrettably?" He asked. "Isn't is a obvious?" She rolled her eyes.
"Don't worry, in heaven you are a virgin until you get married." He pointed with a cheeky smirk, "to me!"
Lucy giggled, "one more question."
"What is it princess?" Natsu asked. Lucy's heart started pounding heavily and she almost forgot to breathe, him calling her princess made her stammer a bit, even if she knew it was her position.
"Wha-what if they can't find, uh, like some a soulmate?" She asked hoping he would be to oblivious to see her confident attitude falter.
He smirked but decided to tease the poor girl later, "For people to have their soulmates they must apply. Soulmates can change and everything. And nobody can have children here." He said. "The kids you see here are basically orphans, people can adopt but not have their own, same thing in hell, but since most young kids are pure they end up here."
"I see." Lucy thought. "The system is strange."
"It is but I was forced to learn it as a child. You would have too if you were raised in the castles like me."
"Oh."
"Lets go back to the castle, I personally find heaven boring."
Lucy laughed and turned around with Natsu following. "Lets go"
