Chapter 31: Swimming Match
NANA’S POV
“Wynwyn, kanina pa kita hinihintay---”
Holy crap! I was shocked.
“S-sir..?”Napatingin sya sa suot ko.
Only a bathrobe.. Buti na lang naipatong ko kaagad kanina. Jeans lang ang naihubad ko.
“Ahm.. Just.. just checking if you’re okay. May nakapasok kasing magnanakaw sa dorm. Mukang dumaan sa may bintana nyo.”
Magnanakaw? Para nagcopy lang ako ng ilang videos niya to my flashdisk.
What an awkward setup. Naka-above-knee-bathrobe ako then sya nakasando pero nakatowel ang lower part.
“I’m okay. Wala namang kakaibang nangyari dito.”
Hindi ko sya tinitingnan sa mga mata. Nakatayo sya sa harap ko at mukang chine-check ng mga mata nya ang mga bintana sa room.
“Ganun ba. I guessed okay ka lang naman, but..”
“But..?”
“But not the two of us.”
Ayoko pa rin talaga syang harapin.“Sige na.” isinara ko na yung pinto. Napasandal ako dito at napabuntong-hininga..

Big deal ba talagang makipag-ayos sya sa ken? Halos one week na rin.. Nagring yung phone ko..
Mama Calling..
“Hello Ma!”
“Hello sweetheart.. You are not telling me something. Nagreport ang finance secretary and he said na nagwithdraw ka raw ng P700K. Explain it dear.”
“Mom. You sound mad! Just chill, I did it for a purpose.”
“Purpose? You can’t even explain it where the money has gone through. It’s as too much that can pay hundred employees. What are you doing my dear Nana Rossi?!”
“Mom. I’m sorry. It’s for my personal matters. Could I pay in other way then? Please….”
“You’re getting on my nerves sweetheart..”
“Sorry mom.. Please, you can ask me anything to pay my debt to you! Please! Please!”
“Enough said. Okay, I want you to go in Rossian Hotel.”
“Then?”
“Meet the son of the Chairman of Pioneer Motors. He checked in tonight there and I want you to accompany him with all good service so the deal between our businesses is to be approved.”
“Mom! But there were lot of our staffs in hotel and I bet they can better assist him.”
“You’ve lost P700k without even telling me where you used it, now I thought you said that---“
“Fine. Fine. Fine. I’ll go.. bye mom! love you! Love you!”
Geez.. today is a very tiring day! All I want is to pamper myself up and have a good sleep. But I should meet somebody to pay my debt. What a sweet mom. I took a bath and dressed up. Goodbye to my green blouse cause I burned it. Finally, I went out. I flagged a cab and went straight to the hotel.
“Good evening Ms.Rossi!” all the staffs aligned in two columns greeted me. Tulo-tuloy lang ako sa paglalakad.
“Ms.Rossi. Madam had called, ito po yung profile ng imi-meet nyong son ng chairman of Pioneer Motors.” Inabot ni Mr.Hawks yung folder habang tuloy-tuloy pa rin ako sa paglalakad.
“Where is he?”
“Sa 54th floor Ms.Nana, nasa infinity pool po sya. Ipinahanda ko na po yung isang deluxe room na tutuluyan nyo sa 60th floor.. ”
“What the heck.. ” bulong ko.
“May kailangan pa po ba kayo Ms.Nana?”
“I need to rest..”
“Pero Ms.Nana, kabilin-bilinan ni Madam, dapat nyo po syang i-meet kung hindi..”
“Kung hindi ano?”
“Sesesantihin po nya ako, Ms.Nana.”
Ugh… nangonsensya pa. if I won’t, kasalanan ko pang ma-fire sya. Kainis!
“Sige na Mr.Hawks! I’ll meet him.” Sumakay nako sa elevator habang hawak yung folder. Who the heck was him? I opened the folder..

Pumunta agad ako sa gilid ng infinity pool, may isang taong lumalangoy dun at malamang sya na nga yun. Nasa dulo sya at nagsi-swim ng pa-butterfly stroke at mukang nakita na nya ko at papunta na sya ngayon sa kinatatayuan ko. Naka-goggles sya and only wearing his trunks.
Malapit na sya sa paanan ko. Finally, ipinatong nya yung dalawa nyang kamay sa dulo ng pool. Nakatingala sya sa akin while I stepped back.
“You came..” ngumiti sya at tinanggal nya yung goggles saka umahon sa pool. I did one devilish look to him. Tonight is disgusting! Naglakad sya papunta saken.. Geez.. We all know he’s goddamn hot but looking at his rock-hard nude body is somewhat hotter than chili.. *drools**
“Aren’t you gonna wipe your body bago ka humarap saken?” naiirita kong tanong. Edge Bang is undeniably oozing hot sexy guy. Kumikintab ang katawan nya mula sa pagkakabasa. He really is a manly adam-creature. I guessed he really did that to me in purpose. Naalala ko tuloy yung sinabi nya..
“Gusto kita Nana..seryoso” My cheeks heat up!
“Siguro pwede na kong umalis, magpapatawag na lang ako ng best staffs to accommodate you tonight. Stay home sa Rossian Hotel Mr.Bang. Good night!”
“Sandale. Kararating mo lang, aalis ka na? Kayang-kaya kong i-atras ang deal kay Madam Rossi kung aalis ka lang sa harap ko.”
What? Ano to bribery?
“Are you threatening me? Ano bang kailangan mo saken?”
Papalapit sya ng papalapit saken habang ako napapaatras. Tumutulo pa ang butil ng tubig sa matigas nyang katawan.
“You.”
“You crazy?”
“Talunin mo ko sa swimming, approve ang deal.” He winked.
Sh*t! I want to fcvkin sleep! Got some time to compete sh*tty swimming? Geez..I was damned stress! Pero para matapos lang to, hinubad ko na yung suot ko sa harap nya. Saka ko ibinato sa dibdib nya. I guessed I’ve chosen the right undies for the night..
Boxer bra and cycling shorts.
He smirked and his eyes kept staring mine.
“Pwede sakin ka na lang..” I stepped aback when he teasingly neared his face to mine.
“Kung may mangyaring masama saken, nakapalibot naman ang camera sa pool nato.” I smiled.
“I know and I’m in your place. Let’s get it started.” He crooked a smile.
Bumaba na kami pareho sa pool. Ang lamig ng tubig. It’s so disgusting! What does he think tonight? London Olympics? Geez.. Itinali ko ang buhok at nag-warm up ng konte. Nagpunta lang ba ako dito para makipag-swimming? WTH
“Game ka na? Unang makabalik, malinaw ang deal!” nagpalitan kami ng matatalim na tingin bago nya sinuot yung goggles nya.
“GAME!” nag-hop in nako at sumisid sa malamig na tubig. Iwinasiwas ko na ang mga paa at mga kamay ko. Naalala ko pa yung swimming lesson namin sa States na almost 1.5 km swim kada class. Kung tatantsahin regular size lang to ng pool, shorter than where we used to swim.
I float flat on my back, and do a flutter kick with my legs. Ginawa ko yung pa-crawl motion, lifting one arm straight into the air and keeping it straight as it re-enters the water next to my head. At nung nasa ilalim nako ng tubig, nag-bend ako to bring it back to a straight position next to my side, then repeat lang. Alternate arms lang ako sa paglangoy, at hangga’t maari I keep my fingers together and my hands as flat as possible.
Sobrang concentrate at magaling din tong si Edge. He swims like a pro. Pa-front stroke ang paglangoy nya o mas kilala sa tawag na a freestyle or American crawl. Yung naka-Float ang stomach, fluttering kick with legs and arms to "crawl" forward. Alternate arms. I know na may background din sya sa swimming kaya ganun na lang sya kakampanteng maghamon.
Nasa pabalik na kami pareho, nauuna na sya saken. At nagawa pa nya talagang ngumisi na parang kulang na lang sabihin nyang, ‘You lose..’ He really is a smug! He’s 2 meters ahead of me!.Sh*t! Mauunahan na nya ko! Ugh..
Ang deal sa Rossian!

Mas binilisan ko pa ang paglangoy. Mas sanay ako sa backstroke coz it will speed up more!
Until I’ve reached the line. Geez.. I catch my breath! Umahon na’ko from the pool I did it! I won! Saka pa lang umahon ang ulo ni Edge, nasa pool pa rin. Naihampas nya yung kamay nya sa tubig.
“Damnit!” he cussed. He took off his goggles.
“Game is over. “ I said in a proud tone. Too cold! I stood by the pool.
“Ibang klase ka talaga. Believe din ako sayo!” he’s pretty serious while gasping for air.
“Tumupad ka sa usapan Mr.Bang.” I was about to leave when he held both of my feet. He was still on the pool wearing that devilish look. He looked up to me.
“@sshole? Get your hands off me!” I said.
“Lucky brat.” He’s caressing my feet. Ugh… His hands were fcvkin awkward!
“MR.EDGE BANG!” I warned him because his massage went up a little by a little to my legs.
“Pasalamat ka teritoryo mo to. Baka magwala ka sa pwede kong gawin sayo, Nana Rossi.” He did a crook smile. It felt shivers to my body about that threat. He went up from the pool and did a teasing look as he wiped his rock-hard body..
