Elliot's POV
"Whoa who body snatched you." Dani laughs looking me up and down
"Just trying to stay comfy." I shrug
Dani laughs and I notice our outfits are pretty similar, but I don't dare point it out. We walk towards the squad room.
I take my coat off throwing it over my desk chair
"Coffee?" I turn to Dani who was now sitting at her desk.
"Sure."
I walk over and fill two cups and my wife happily comes up next to me
"Hey babe." Olivia rest her hand on my chest and kisses me softest
"Mmm hello to you too." I smile widely at her and go back to fixing the coffees.
"Nick and I are about to head out something went down at a convenience store."
"See you when you get back" I lean in this time to kiss her goodbye and after we pull away she looks at my clothes.
"What happened to your suit?" She runs her hand up from my chest to my neck
"Staying sporty.. what do you not like it?"
"I do.." she grins and whispers in my ear "kind of turns me on."
I laugh "is that right?"
"Yes, I'm thinking when lunch rolls around we break together and I'll show you how much I love the new style choice." Her voice got more and more seductive as she spoke.
"Sounds like a plan to me"
Munch walks over and starts making his own cup of coffee
"I know you two are married and all, but could we keep it PG."
I crunch my eyebrows and turn to him. In unison Olivia and I speak.
"Shut up Munch."
Liv pecks my lips and walks out the door with Amaro following her like a dog.
'I hate that guy.' I clench my jaw as I walk over to Dani with coffee.
Dani's POV
I watch as Elliot walks over to our desks. His attention was fixated on Amaro and Olivia leaving.
"You look like you're ready to kill the guy." I chuckle trying to lighten his mood.
"I don't like him" he puts the coffee in front of me
"No you don't like him around your wife."
Elliot just sits down not saying anything back about it.
Hours go by, it was going to be a slow day. Which I'm not upset about, just means some poor soul isn't being hurt and I'm thankful for that.
I watch Elliot do his desk work and decided to mess with him. I grab some sticky notes from my drawer and start rolling them up and tossing them at him.
"What are you doing?" He laughs lightly
"Nothing" I toss another getting him right between the eyes. "BULLSEYE!" I yell then notice everyone looking so I move down in my seat embarrassed. Elliot just laughs and throws one back before returning to his work.
Elliot's POV
My phone goes off in my pocket I pull it out and notice a text from my wife.
Text From Liv:
"I won't be able to make our lunch plans, rain check?"
"I'm holding you to it."
I put my phone away.
"Who was that?" Dani looks at me
"My wife, seems like I'm doing lunch alone."
"I can join you."
"No it's fine."
"El I'm joining you."
"Okay."
I get up throwing my coat on. We make our way over to a sub shop a few blocks away.
Olivia's POV
"Well that was useless" I say annoyed as Nick and I walk to the car
"Couldn't after more." Nick opens the passenger door for me.
"They know something, but there's no way in hell they'll say a word to us."
"So we'll just pin them another way."
I get in and nick shuts the door walking over to his side. We start driving back to the station.
"Wanna stop grab a bite?" Nick says as he suggests to the time on the radio
"Yeah sure I could go for a bite."
Dani's POV
Do I tell him about his wife and nick? No right? Like it's not my place. He already hates Amaro.
Throwing this at him would probably push him right over the edge. I don't want to start world war three between the two. Plus I already told Olivia I wouldn't say a word.
I get thrown out of my thoughts as Elliot puts the food on the table snapping me out of it.
"You good?" Elliot questions me as he sits.
"Yeah I'm fine."
Elliot stares at me not believing me, but doesn't say a word just nods his head dropping it.
"Elliot" I blurted out and he looked at me slowly
"Hm?"
"I have to tell you something."
I could see his mind racing
Elliot's POV
God she's pregnant isn't she. How could I be so stupid. My marriage is over. My life is over. Fuck.
"It's about your wife."
Did she just say wife?
"What about her?"
"Her and-"
Dani stops talking when her attention seemed to be fixed on something else out the window.
"Dani? Her and what?"
I put my food down and look out the window to see my wife and Amaro making their way into the shop were in. Then I could tell Dani's sentence wasn't going to be her and what. It would be her and who.
Olivia's POV
Nick and I walk into a sub shop and we order our food. I turn around after ordering and notice my husband sitting in a booth
"El?"
I approach him and notice Beck in front of him.
"Hey?" My husband stands up and greets me with a kiss. "What are you doing here? Thought you would be out longer?"
"Well our lead refuses to say anything so it was cut short. Nick and I came to grab some food and we're going to head back to the precinct."
"Join us." He sits back down making room for me to sit.
He wraps his arm around my shoulder as I steal a few of his fries.
Nick's POV
'Where'd she go' I thought and turn around and notice Olivia went to sit with her husband and.. beck? Oh this is going to be fun.
I roll my eyes and bring Liv and i's food over.
"Thanks Nick"
"No problem.. may I sit?" I look towards Dani she hesitantly says "yeah" and moves over.
