****Lacey's POV****
I wasn't planning on doing anything the weekend after but Diags organised a quick trip for us all and took us to Newcastle for the weekend. I obviously couldn't refuse and after the long trip up there we had settled in for the weekend.
I spent the first day in a bar with Georgia and Chloe with Bobby. I was wearing my off the shoulder jumper and heeled boots.
"I'm actually losing my virginity on their trip." Bobby said. "I've never been to Newcastle before."
"Neither have I But it's really nice." Chloe said.
"I've been before but only as a flying trip for a meeting and then shopping. It's got a good shopping centre." I told them.
"It's good to get everyone up here. We're only missing one and two."
"Courtney and Myles are both here and I don't think they've spoken since the whole argument."
"I don't know Kady but if it was me I would be upset so I don't blame her." Bobby said.
"Now I know Kady and we did used to be friends but I humped into her after that night in the club and she was horrible to me. I'm talking I was in tears after the conversation." I told them.
"Well she's not here this weekend so I think it will be good for her to get all her anger out whilst Kady isn't here. I want to make her speak to him." Georgia said.
"Now that would be nice. But I heard you made up with Courtney and Chloe Lace?"
"Yeah we just decided to put it to bed. I know Yaz is getting some help and I don't want to cause her any more drama. I just want it all putting to bed." I told them. "How's Tommy?"
"I feel like he's on a journey at the moment. He's not amazing but he's so much better than a few months ago. He's started his own campaign for men to open up and talk to each other about their insecurities."
"That sounds so good." I told her. "Now Guys I need some advice here. I got a message from Sam this week, I'll read it to you. Hi Lace. Heard you're coming to Newcastle this weekend and thought it would be nice to go and have dinner one night to get to know each other. You don't have to have an answer now but message me at the weekend. X"
"Well have you replied?"
"No. I want to but I really don't know if I'm ready to be with another guy."
"Lace he's taking you for dinner not asking for your hand in marriage go and ring him now and ask."
"Okay I will. I'll see you all soon."
I made my way out of the bar and rung him as I walked back to my hotel."
"Hi Lace."
"Hi. I know it's short notice but are you still up for dinner tonight?"
"Of course I am. I'll meet you at the restaurant next to you're hotel at 7. Is that alright?"
"That's perfect."

That night everyone was going out to one of the main clubs and I was actually pretty glad I was just going out with Sam. But I was thinking about joining them later on.
I decided on my check skirt and just a plain black top for my outfit.
I made my way out of the hotel and didn't both wearing a coat as I would go back for one later. I spotted him at the back of the restaurant at his own little table.
"Hi Sam." I said and he stood up to give me a peck on the cheek.
"Hi lovely." He said. "Please take a seat."
"Thank you. It's really nice here."
"I've never been before but someone recommended it to me." He said. "So how's your time been so far?"
"It was good. Georgia, Chloe, Bobby and I went to this little bar next to the river and had a nice drink. I just stayed in this afternoon and got ready."
"Well you do look stunning."
"Thank you." I said. "So go on then tell me something about you?"
"Well I work as a model and I've got my own clothing range which I design and market."
"That's amazing. What do you do in your spare time?"
"Well I've got four nephews so they take up a lot of my time and I do like spending time with my family. My sister is actually getting married soon."
"That's amazing. I've always wanted a big family but there's only me and Lauren."
"Well you can come and see mine anytime. Tell me a bit about yourself."
"Well I also have my own clothing brand so I work there a lot and I model. I've got a little dog called Lola and she's my baby."
"I do love dogs."
"You'll have to come and see her some time she loves new people."
"Really?"
"No she hates new people but I'm sure she'll like you."

We finished up our meal and it was actually really nice.
"So I'm actually planning on meeting the others at the bar. Do you fancy coming?" I asked him.
"If you're sure I won't cramp your style."
"Of course you won't." I said and linked my arm through his. "Let's just walk."
We were halfway there when I realised I'd not got my jacket.
"Shit. I've forgot my jacket and it's going to get cold."
"You can just borrow mine later."
"Thanks."
We finally arrived at the club after what felt like ages walking and I immediately spotted Pete, Georgia and Tommy in the corner.
"Come on."
"Oh Hey look who's come to join us." Tommy shouted.
"Don't start. We just went for a quiet meal but I couldn't miss out on the whole night."
"Did you have a good time?" Georgia asked.
"Yeah we had a good time. Got to know each other." Sam told them.
"That's really nice." Pete said but I could see some kind of emotion behind his eyes. "Anyway come on boys let's go and get a drink."
"How was it really then?" Georgia asked once we was alone.
"It was really nice and he's a lovely guy but I don't know what to do. I can see that him and Pete have some issues and I am loyal to Pete as a long term friend of his."
"Lace you can't put someone's happiness before your own."
"I don't know Georgia. I don't know whether I should risk it or not."
"Well all I can say is that he's just got out of a relationship as well so it might be worth confiding in each other to see where your heads are at. He might not be ready either"
"Good point."

The next morning I was going out to support Tommy and the boys with Clelia and Georgia.
I was sat wearing my big jumper and scarfs on the beach wall as we let the boys have their chat.
"I was really surprised actually that Newcastle had a beach." Georgia said.
"So was I."
"It reminds me a bit of home actually." Clelia said. "Except usually when I went on the beach it was sunny and not ice cold."
"Well we could only wish of that today."
"Have you spoken to Pete after last night?" Georgia asked.
"No I left with Sam pretty much straight after my chat with you. We just went and had a walk and then went back to the hotel."
"Did he make sure you got home safely?"
"Yeah and he let me borrow his jacket as I was cold. He was really thoughtful."
"I can imagine he's really lovely."
The boys all stripped down and let Georgia take the photo as Clelia and I watched. They then took their boards down and ran into the ocean.
"They must be freezing."
"Lace I've got something for you." I heard Pete shout.
"Do Not come anywhere near me..."
He managed to catch me after a while and smothered me in a cold hug.
"Have one of my scarfs to warm up." I said and wrapped one around him.
"I'm not sure it's going to be much help but thank you."

I hope you like this chapter.
Lots of you voted for Sam and Pete on the last chapter but I'm still unsure. I'm thinking if I don't choose Sam then I might make it because of Clelia as they're close. What do you think?
