Solomon took a deep breath and laid his finger on the trigger. "I am so sorry," he whispered. Madison cowered and closed her eyes.

Suddenly, there was a loud thump. Madison opened her eyes just as Solomon's body hit the floor. Standing over her now was a girl with dark hair. She was holding a heavy metal wrench. Madison scrambled to her feet.

"Who are you?" Madison asked.

The girl opened her mouth then closed it. "It doesn't matter right now," she said. "Granny's coming."

"It would take literally one second," Madison mumbled. The girl dragged her down the stairs into the attic. Madison tripped on the gas can and swept it up into her arms,

The girl grabbed Madison's arm and dragged her to a small hole in the wall. Shoving her in, the girl turned around and ran to the hole in the middle of the floor.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Madison hissed. The girl smiled and jumped, hands catching the plank spanning the length of the hole. It bounced up and down but she kept holding on. She pulled herself up and smiled at Madison. "Fall down through the vent and into the bathroom when Granny gets here," she said. "Good luck. Don't get caught."

And with that, she let go of the board. Madison heard her land on the floorboards below.

Granny came up the attic. "Where are you?" she asked the empty room. Madison turned around and took a deep breath. She stuck her legs through the hole then dropped. She landed hard on her feet, causing shuddering pain to race up her legs. It seemed to decide to stay in her left foot though where she had broken it three years ago. She winced and limped to the door. She opened it. It was still clear. She opened the bedroom door.

"Oh my gosh!" Becca gasped. She ran forward and hugged Madison. "Where did you go?"

Madison shook the can and the gas sloshed around. "Got this in the spider room."

"What do we do with it?" Becca asked.

"I don't know. Oh! Do you know of another girl here with black hair?"

"Other than me?"

"Of course."

"I think we would know of someone else in Granny's house," Becca said with an eyebrow raised. She purses her lips, considering something then

"Well, she helped me," Madison said. "Solomon was going to shoot me and she hit him. Granny probably got him now."

"Solomon tried to kill you?" Becca said, a horrified expression on her face. Madison nodded. "He said Iris would help him out of the house if he killed one of us. Needless to say, he decided on me."

Becca ran a hand down her face and winced. Her fingernail had caught one of the many cuts on her face. Blood began to run down her cheek.

Madison closed her eyes then opened them after a moment. "What happened to your face?"

Becca relayed the short but horrid story. Madison's eyes opened wider and wider as she went on.

"And Solomon still thinks he can trust Iris?" she asked.

"I guess so," Becca said, disgust dripping from her voice.

Madison sat on the bed wearily. "How close are we to getting out of this hole anyway?" she asked.

Becca hopped up onto the table and crossed her legs. "We had just gotten the screwdriver when it all broke loose. We just need the padlock key."

"What's the screwdriver for?"

"I don't know. Corbin knew and he never got to tell us." Becca's face fell. "We've lost so many people."

"Who have you known while you've been here?" Madison asked.

Becca cocked her head and thought. "Solomon seemed to always be here; he never left the room until Corbin got here. Hadley Lucas was here for a couple days. A boy named Leander was here just a few hours with me until he died. There was Flint. And Elvyne. I reckon Corbin fancied her. Iris ended up being a ghost. That was all. Oh, and Miranda. She had been locked in the sauna for who knows how long before we found her. She was on her fifth day and then Granny got her. She was really smart."

Becca's voice trailed off and Madison let her be lost in her own thoughts for several minutes.

"Maybe you should get some sleep," Madison finally said. Becca blinked and smiled. "Oh, I don't think I can sleep here anymore."

"You have to sleep or you'll die," Madison said.

Becca laughed. "You can go about eleven days without sleep before you die. I'll be fine. I'll keep watch if you want to sleep though."

Madison could feel sleep dragging her down. She laid down before she even said, "If you could..."

"No problem," Becca said.

"Thank you," Madison mumbled, half asleep.

Becca shifted a little to get comfortable and sat while Madison slept.

Madison awoke to Becca people pulling her off the bed. Madison shrieked in pain as her shoulder hit the floor.

"Sorry," Becca whispered as she crawled under the bed with her.

They waited in silence as the door opened. Madison gasped. Solomon came in, dried blood stuck to his hair, down his neck.

"Becca?" he called out. "Madison?" he asked hesitantly.

Madison growled and jumped out.

"Whoah!" Solomon said, holding the gun out as a shield. Madison grabbed it and shoved it into his gut. The air came out of Solomon's mouth with a whoosh.

Madison wrenched the gun from his hands and aimed it at him.

"Hey, hey," he chuckled. "That is not loaded, you know."

Madison swung it at his shins. Solomon howled in pain. "It doesn't have to be to hurt you," she said. She gave a side glance to Becca and saw she was smiling.

Madison raised the gun to swing again and Solomon raised his hands. "Stop!" he hollered. Madison aimed for his stomach but this time, he caught it. With a roar, he swung at her head. She ducked and rolled under the table. Solomon jabbed the gun at her. "Get out!"

"Stop, Solomon!" Becca said. She grabbed his arm and he threw her onto the bed. He tossed the gun onto the floor and it slid against the wall.

Madison crawled out from under the table but Solomon caught her. He picked her up as easily as a rag doll. She kicked and screamed but Solomon held on. He kicked open the door. He jumped a little when he saw Granny come from the basement. He looked at Madison's face then smiled evilly. "This is for you, Iris!" he cried as he tossed Madison over the railing.

Madison screamed then was silent as she hit the ground. Solomon turned around to run into the room. Becca slammed the door.

"Open up, Bec!" he said. "Granny is coming!"

He rattled the doorknob and could feel that Becca was holding onto it. He twisted hard and pushed it open. He got a face full of the butt of a gun. Groaning and holding his face, he staggered backward.

Becca came out of the room. Solomon blinked through blood from his forehead.

"You tried to kill Madison!" Becca screamed.

"Just to get us out!" Solomon said. He looked over his shoulder and saw Granny still looking at Madison. He looked back at Becca. "We just have to find Iris and we'll be out of here."

"Find me?"

Becca and Solomon whirled around and saw Iris leaning on the railing by the attic. She was ghostlike, in a white dress and with dark hair.

"Solomon, look at you! You have tried to complete the task I had given you to do."

"Tried?" Solomon asked. "I did. Look." He pointed at Madison's crumpled figure. "She is dead. Get us out of here." He walked over to Iris and Becca followed cautiously behind, one eye on Granny.

"Us?" Iris said with a smirk. "I think you have misread the terms of our deal. One's life you had to steal..."

"And I did that."

"Did you?" Iris reached into her gown and pulled out a dagger. "Make sure that is true."

Solomon grabbed it eagerly. Becca glared at him. He shrugged apologetically. He turned to go down the stairs but stopped suddenly. "Madison's gone!" he cried. Where Madison's body has laid was now a small puddle of blood. Even Granny was gone.

Iris peered over the railing. "So she is. Mother must have taken her already. Then give your Becca kiss. And then the outside just you will finally see."

"What?!" Solomon yelped. "I thought you could get both of us out?"

Iris chuckled. "I am so sorry this is what you believe."

"Only... me?" Solomon said. Iris nodded. He held back a smile and turned to give Becca a hug. She scoffed and backed away. "No way."

Solomon shrugged. "Your loss. Do you have any messages you want me to give your family then?"

Becca's face softened considerably. "Tell them I love them. And that I'll see them soon."

"Are you sure you want to give them false hope?" Solomon pointed out.

Becca ignored him. "And tell Delilah that I'm so sorry. And that I miss her."

Solomon nodded. He turned to Iris. "Take me home," he said excitedly.

Iris raised an eyebrow. "Never did I say I would take you home. Just that I would get you out. But you'll be glad to know I won't leave you alone."

"Okay..."

"Come here, Solomon." He did so.

She took the knife from his hand. "Welcome to your new home," she said with a smile. His face fell and the knife was shoved into his chest. He gasped and blood began pouring down his chin. Iris pulled the knife out of his chest and pushed him back. He stumbled and fell against the railing. It shattered and he fell down, down.

Becca closed her eyes. But she didn't even wince as his body hit the ground.

Author's Notes

It has come to my attention that there is some confusion with Iris's 'identity'. I know that in the game, Granny has an already developed story. Like, Slenderman and Slendrina and Angeline. I thought about following that story but I have a few problems with it. One is that I wanted to come up with a new story, one that seemed the most interesting to me. The second reason is that I find the whole Creepypasta/Slenderman thing too dark for me. I am not one who enjoys these kinds of stories (paranormal, ghosts, demonic, etc.) And do you all remember that thing where the girls stabbed their friend for Slenderman? Yeah, this is a main reason why I hate Slenderman. I have to confess, I didn't realize Granny was affiliated with Slenderman until I started writing the story and researching the game.

I originally wrote this story for the psychopathic side of Granny. I like to learn about the human mind so I thought a story of one who kidnaps people would be interesting to write. Unfortunately for me, this story has been taking a few dark turns (but I hope you guys have been enjoying it...)

Anyway, the point I was originally going for: Iris is neither Slendrina nor Angeline. She's just a character I made that fits into the story. I hope that clears up some things and if you have any more questions, comment below! Thank you!
