Staring up at the obelisk, the six wondered how long they'd have to be up there.

"That's pretty high up."

"No dip Jake."

"I thought you two were dating."

"We are."

Tina shook her head. "You two make a weird couple."

Jake smiled. "And you and my brother wouldn't?"

Tina glared at him as her cheeks matched Riley's hair.

Stone clapped.

Jay smiled even more as Tina walked up ahead of them, hiding her face desperately.

"Okay, we need to get her and Jack on a date when this is over."

"Amen."

The rest started following her into the hallways leading into the obelisk.

"So, we find Jack, then get The Hero's Blade and get out. Piece of cake."

Addie facepalmed at Stone's statement.

"Stone, you know we're sneaking in to Herobrine's fortress right?"

"Yeah."

Addie shook her head and walked faster.

The group wandered around until they found a window.

"When has that steered anyone wrong?"

Riley teleported each of them there, herself included, and took a moment to process their surroundings.

"Uh, guys?"

The Hero's Blade was floating on a pedastool in the center of the room.

"We found it?!"

"Well done."

The group turned towards the door.

Nightmare was there, smiling.

"I didn't expect guests to come so soon. If I cannot take you down, Herobrine will."

"No, he won't!"

Riley facepalmed and teleported accidentally.

"Oh gravel."

Quickly, she realized she wasn't alone.

"Get her!"

Riley brought her hands up and braced herself.

"!"

Nightmare raised his hands and laughed.

"You can't stop me. Your most powerful friend teleported away, and now, it's just you all and me."

Jake reached for the blade, waiting for Nightmare to stop him. When he didn't, Jake grabbed the handle, forgetting Jack was the only one of them who could hold it.

"Holy nether! My hand is on fire!"

Nightmare picked the blade up and walked over to the crew.

"He'll be here soon. I suggest you lay out your weapons and surrender."

Stone threw his stick at Nightmare's face.

It bounced off harmlessly.

Nightmare rose an eyebrow before Jake knocked him out from behind.

"People can never withstand attacks they aren't prepared for."

Riley burst through the door, a tear in her shirt, but nothing else seemed in disarray.

"Guys, Herobrine's coming!"

Tina nodded to Nightmare. "Deactivate the magic, quick!"

Riley crouched down and touched his forehead, disabling the dark magic implanted in the boy.

She was halfway done when she was blasted back.

"Guys! Back up!"

Nightmare started floating as his eyes opened up and started glowing purple.

His body started shaking, and as quickly as it started, it stopped, and he fell to the floor, reverted back to normal.

"Ugh, my head..."

Jack Dreamer opened his eyes, a bit of white leaking from one.

"Jack!" Tina rushed to his side, helping him up as Jack reached for his new blade.

"Get them!"

More guards flooded the room, and Riley grabbed them and teleported the group back to their base.

"..."

The group fell on their faces upon arrival.

"Jack!"

Everyone who was left behind rushed over to check on him.

"I need to run some tests."

Jack looked at Ivor.

"Can I take a nap first?"

With that, he fell to the floor.

"I'll test him while he sleeps."

The group gave him looks that showed their uncertainty as he carried the boy off.

"..."

"They what?!"

Herobrine stood in front of his guards, his eyes starting to rim with black.

"Search Beacontown! We need to find that blade!"

The troops scattered to obey their master's orders as he turned through a book, learning as much as he could about the blade.

"Ivor!"

"Ivor! I needed a nap!"

"It's not my fault you woke up!"

"You stuck a needle in my arm!"

"Your point?"

Jack grumbled as the old man tested his blood, his face not showing any positive signs.

"Follow me Jack."

Jack shrugged and followed him to hear his condition and see what the others had to say.

It was then he realized he still had his inventory.

"Huh."

Ivor had written something down and had put it in the center of the table.

Riley looked up at Jack, making him nervous.

She motioned for him to follow. He hesitantly obliged.

"Jack, how much do you remember from your time as Nightmare?"

"Not much..."

Riley sighed in frustration.

"I already know what he's going to say, and I need to tell you something. You were never normal to begin with; this just adds to that weirdness."

Jack rose an eyebrow. "This might just top off that weirdness."

Riley coughed for a moment before speaking, her voice just like Jack's.

"Jeez, I'm an idiot, huh?"

Jack glared. "Ha ha, very funny."

Riley smiled and walked out, before noticing something was missing.

My locket.

Riley glanced around but didn't see it.

"Riley? Ivor wants us."

She looked up and nodded, but Jack could tell something was off.

He went against pressing it. She had just helped save him.

Ivor broke the news about his dark magic still being inside him now, but Jack wasn't fazed.

"So?"

Jack shook it off before anyone else could argue.

"Anyways, I think I've got an idea."

He turned to Riley.

"We just need you to temporarily deactivate Herobrine's magic."

"..."

"Sir, we've looked everywhere, but we just can't find them! It's like there's a secret base or something!"

Herobrine turned to face his servant. His eyes, much to their relief, were just white.

"You are overestimating them. They're just kids, and they're outsmarting you. The two, Jack and Tina were homeless, remember? Think a few steps ahead."

"Sir, it appears they have Ivor and Riley-"

His eyes suddenly were rimmed with a black that rivaled the void.

"Riley? My daughter? What the hell is she doing with them?!"

He walked closer to the servant.

"Find them. Or you will feel my fury. And you won't be able to escape."

The black in his eyes threatened the man, and he ran, fearful.

Herobrine smiled as his eyes lost their darkness.

"Now, where did I leave off in that old book I found?"

"..."

"Jack! My dad is dangerous! We can't go up against him!"

Jack rolled his eyes.

"Riley, you can. You're not that weak. Plus, you have admin powers. Give it a shot, at least."

Riley glared at him and sighed in defeat.

"One shot. No more. Got it?"

Jack smiled and nodded, as did everyone else.

"So, let's get into that sky obelisk, eh?"

"..."

Riley decided Jack was too incompetent to be able to control dark magic, so she forced him into hours of training.

Jake had to stifle a laugh when he saw Jack, partially bruised and wanting to sleep.

"Jeez bro, you've seen better days."

Jack just flipped him off.

Everyone laughed as Jake turned red in anger and couldn't escape Jay's grasp to hurt his brother.

Jack just stood there, amused. "Who's laughing now Jake?"

He walked off to his bed as Jay called for backup to keep Jake down.

The night was filled with little conversation, as Brandon was nowhere to be found.

Slowly, people started going to bed, until Tina and Riley were the last two awake.

"Hey, I'm gonna get something to drink real quick. You want anything?"

Riley shook her head. "I'm too tired to drink."

Tina nodded and walked to the kitchen, a little upset that it was on the other side of the house.

As she looked through the chests Jay kept, being both amazed and confused at the organization, when a hand clamped over her mouth.

"I'm not done with you."

The voice filled her with fear as the figure started ripping her clothing off.

"..."

Jack had woken up in the middle of the night to get a drink.

Walking like a zombie, he trudged over to the kitchen to get some water when he heard the struggling.

Jack picked up the pace and ran in to find Brandon trying to get Tina's clothes off.

Quietly, he pulled his iron sword out and walked over to the rapist before hitting him on the head with the flat side of the blade.

Brandon fell to the floor and Jack helped Tina up, guiding her back to the others as she stayed silent in fear.

Jake was waiting for them.

"Let's go tie him up and beat him until he needs a doctor."

Jack shook his head. "He's knocked out."

Riley came over. "I'll take her to the room you guys share."

Jack nodded and grabbed the lead Brandon had dropped.

"We can still tie him up though."

Smiling, the Dreamer twins walked over and used the lead to keep his hands behind his back, his feet together, and his arms pinned. They made sure it dug into his skin.

The two dragged him back, satisfied with their work.

Everyone went in their respective rooms, and Jack took time to comfort Tina, pushing the hatred he felt for Brandon aside.

"..."

They let Brandon starve for a day. Then they gave him some mushroom stew.

He hated mushroom stew.

Jack also gave him another punch to the jaw.

The day after that, the entire group was found in front of the sky obelisk, ready to test their plan.

1494 words.

Jeez, I hate Brandon.

Anyways, this is coming to an end soon, so...

Yeah. Never thought I'd finish this, but I'm going to!

So, sorry if this is a crappy chapter. I've been mentally exhausted for weeks, so... yeah.

Anyways, I'll see you guys later! And remember, the oneshots book is open for requests!
