"I don't get it.." she blurted out pulling her arm away "I don't want to go on a double date.. I've never been to one before.. it's going to be awkward" she groaned making me chuckle
"Come on Ji Ah.. I'm gonna be right there with you.. think of it as a hangout with my boyfriend and his friend"
She sighed as i adjusted my green blouse and pushed the door open for both of us. When I walked inside I immediately spotted Mark who was looking at us already, probably because he had been watching the door all this time, eager to get a glimpse at the girl he had been talking with for months
We got closer to the booth they were sitting at and both guys stood up to greet us. Of course, Jackson engulfed me right away in his arms kissing the top of my head right begore I teased him about his new hair. I then turned around and saw Mark giving Ji Ah a nervous smile as they both bowed
"Ji Ah, this is Mark Tuan.. Mark, this is Joo Ji Ah"
They both bowed to eachother and greeted eachother before slipping into the booth. Mark moved so that Ji Ah could sit first while Jackson simply pushed me to go making Ji Ah laugh
"Yah! Why can't you be careful like Mark?" I teased watching him sit down next to me
"Why don't you date him instead if you want a guy like him"
The two friends in front of us laughed at our small fight and I shrugged picking up the menu opening it "I might"
Jackson chuckled and pulled my hair behind my back and away from my neck "You could never, sooo.. what do you guys want to eat?" He asked watching Mark also pick up a menu and sharing it with Ji Ah
The four of us looked at the menus discussing between us what which one was going to eat hoping we could share some plates to save some money
The waitress came and Jackson started telling her the order while. She carefully wrote everything in her notebook and then asked if she could get an autograph from the both guys which they obviously agreed to, taking a picture with her aswell
"Sometimes I wish I could just put you in a box" I mumbled while Mark and Ji Ah talked with eachother
"Don't be silly. I only have eyes for you" he giggled nudging my cheek with his nose
I reached out for his hand touching it while he did a flower pose being absolutely adorable "Yah stop" I giggled "I'm trying to be mad at you"
He pinched my cheek making me push his forehead away from me while we both chuckled at eachother
"So you are already working?" I heard Mark ask Ji Ah adverting my attention to them. Jackson placed his hand on top of mine intertwining our fingers on his lap
"Yes, I work at the Seoul National Universtity Hospital but I'm trying to get a transfer to the Medical Center.." she explained smiling
I glanced at Jackson who looked back at me with a smirk. They were getting to know eachother, good
"What about you? Well.. besides being busy being an idol" she joked making him smile
"That's excactly what I do.. I'm just an idol. I've been working on a new clothing line aswell and getting into modeling"
"Ah.. that must take up a lot of time.. how old are you?"
"I'm 26.. turning 27 in a few weeks" he chuckled nervously probably knowing how big the age gap was
"Ah, I'm 25" Jackson interjected making me raise an eyebrow "You're what? A year younger than her?" Jackson asked me making me get what he was doing
"Yes, I am.. I'm a baby" I laughed making him chuckle
"So you guys have the same difference we do" Jackson mumbled
"Couldn't you guys be more obvious" Mark commented making Ji Ah laugh loudly and hit the table
"They are aren't they?" She giggled turning to Mark
"Ah.. truly perfect for eachother" Mark mumbled shaking his head "Two apples from the same tree"
"Isn't it 'peas from the same pod'?" I teased seeing the waitress pack all our food in a tray from afar
She came closer to us and we all leaned back so she could put the plates on the table. And so, the conversation died down a little as our mouths got busy with the food
We still talked for a few more minutes exchanging information about ourselves and others. Jackson was the first to finish. He placed his hand on my tigh as I kept eating and talking with Mark about his family and his dad's last adventure
Ji Ah started asking more questions at Mark and Jackson decided it was a good time to lean onto my shoulder
"What's wrong?" I asked while taking the noodles to my mouth
"I'm tired" he groaned adjusting his head on my shoulder
"What did you do today? Did you guys have dance practice?"
"Yeah.. but the worst part was really going home at 3am and waking up at 5 for an interview" he sighed making me feel worried about him.. I hated when he pulled all nighters and he stopped doing them exactly for that motive but instead would take a break to sleep for a few hours, which for me was still the same thing
We all finished our meals splitting the bill together. After a few more minutes of talking the three of us I sighed leaning my head against the top of my boyfriend's head who was sleeping on my shoulder
"I think I'm gonna go take him home.. you guys can handle yourselves?" I asked thinking about how perfect the timing was. It was still early so I was sure they would still be on a date for quite some time
"Sure! Go ahead, we'll be fine" Mark smiled "Do you need help with him?"
I shook my head squeezing my boyfriend's cheek "It's okay, he has to wake up. I'm not carrying you home Wang"
He groaned and yawn covering his mouth. His eyes were almost closed as if they weighed a ton
We said our goodbyes and then walked out of the cafe hugging eachother by the waist.
"Can't you stay for cuddles? I want to be with you" He mumbled squeezing me against him
"You mean stay so you can fall asleep while I watch TV?" I chuckled as we turned around the corner
"Yes.. I need that" he groaned pulling away from me "I think you should drive, I'm too tired"
I chuckled and watched him reach into his pocket "Yeah, I agree" I answered back taking his car keys
The ride to his house was smooth and peacefull. He was trying his best not to fall asleep, his head falling front when his brain shut off.
It was adorable.
Once we reached the house, we both got into our pajamas and got ready to bed. Of course, I had to wear one of his shirts so I decided to go with the largest one which so happened to fit me like a dress.
I got inside the bed and sipped on my warm tea as I started watching a kdrama that was airing at the moment. I tried to understand the roles and the characters which was difficult since it was a random episode
The door from the bathroom opened and soon, he appeared with a bare chest showing, a view I was getting used to but at the same time, one that never got old
He had a small bun on his hair which was adorable
He crawled into bed kicking his Fendi slippers and placed his head on my chest as I placed the mug down on the small table. He placed his arm on top of my belly and I wrapped mine around his head so I could play with his hair
"Ah.. this feels so good" he finally muttered closing his eyes. I kept my attention glued to the TV, still trying to understand why was she the Bride if they weren't married and he was a god
"I love you so much.." he said snuggling his face more in my chest
"I love you too babe.. goodnight" I answered back
I missed these moments. The ones where we had nothing to worry about.. Maybe this was the last break up we had to have.. maybe not. All I knew was that right now, this, was my paradise..
