after three weeks...
"Good morning Mr. President, here's your schedule for today." Yeri put the tablet on top of the coffee table after reading outloud his schedule. Jimin nod his head and continued reading the newspaper.
"Where's Jungkook?" Jimin asked still looking at the newspaper.
"I don't know sir, he just left this morning in haste. He looked serious."
"You're not worried?" He perked up from reading and looked at her.
Yeri just shrugged her shoulders. "He's old enough to watch himself."
Jimin chuckled and closed the newspaper. "I mean, aren't you worried that he might be taken away by those blonde girls?"
Yeri nod her head after understanding what he meant. "As long as he comes back to me, I don't mind."
Jimin stopped and looked at her with a questioning look. Yeri chuckled and cleared her throat.
"After being with him for many years, I realized that I shouldn't keep him on my side all the time just so I would feel secure that he won't ran away from me. Instead of asking him to not leave me or always tell me that he loves me, I started to think what I should do to keep my feelings for him the same, that even when he goes astray and confuse himself. At the end of the road, I will be there for him by then, he's turn into a mature person. I shouldn't keep it from him, the freedom I mean, he's a guy and still growing, it hurts me sometimes to think that he's with other girls but I know myself that I'm not that better myself..." Yeri answered smiling. It shows the face of a person who doesn't regret anything.
Jimin nod his head and opened the newspaper again when Yeri talked again making him look at her.
Yeri looked down playing with the ballpen in her hand. "I'm actually envious of you and your wife sir. You've gone past a hurdle and found each other again. It's amazing that your feelings for each other didn't change."
Jimin stared at nowhere and grinned. Talking with Yeri made him miss his wife though he miss her all the time. He turned to her again when he remembered something, he can't ask the question to his friends since they're all guys.
"What is the reason why women keep secrets even to their boyfriend?"
Yeri craned her neck as if thinking, she wasn't even bothered that he asked her that kind of question out of the blue, she turned to him after. "There are two reasons: it's embarassing to talk about or it would hurt the person she loves."
Jimin put his hand under his chin nodding his head before leaning on the chair. "What about you? Do you have secrets that you hide from Jungkook?" He asked, a bit curious.
Yeri nod her head saying yes. "But it's just mostly the embrassing ones, it won't hurt him at all. If it's the second one, I don't have. Besides, when a girl hide secrets because of the second reason she's just protecting the person she loves from hurting, because he might not able to take the pain."
"Isn't that torture? Taking it all to herself?" Why do they have to hide it? They can just share the pain.
Yeri grinned. "It will be, if she's weak. But a woman who has a strong will can take it, even if its painful to bear. That's that, do you still have questions sir? or something you're curious about?"
Jimin smiled shaking his head. "None, thank you for answering my questions."
Yeri waved her hand shyly. "It's nothing, you can ask me anytime sir."
"Of course, there'll be an increase on my wage if you ask next time, today is free." She added giving him an okay sign.
Jimin laughed, he just realized that women are sly creatures.
After eating his breakfast and getting ready, he went to the site where the building of their company is being built, he needs to be there himself for the documents after that he had a meeting with local inverstors. He wanted to call his wife but he knew that its evening there at seoul, she's probably tired or sleeping already. He just talked to her three times on the phone after he arrive there.
Evening came and he's still busy going through the documents, there was no end to it, everything has to be done because of the deadline and he wanted it to be done so he could go back home immediately .
Just then, Jungkook came inside huffing as if he ran a mile. Jimin turned to him confused why he was there, it was past working hours and he didn't gave any instructions or so whatever about his job since he already gave it to him the first day they arrived.
He put the ballpen down on the table and leaned on the swivel chair crossing his arms while calmly looking at Jungkook. If there's something wrong about the construction it has be deal with instantly but in a calm manner, there's no point on stressing about it.
"Breath deeply then talk."
Jungkook followed what he said and walked towards his desk slowly then stopped just enough to see his worried expression.
"There's something you need to know about your wife."
Upon hearing what it was all about, Jimin sat straight, his senses became sharp and he became curious about what he's going to say.
"I left early this morning to meet someone who saw your wife two years ago-"
"Didn't I told you to stop following her?" Jimin said a bit angry since he told him to stop following Seulgi before they broke up, he wasn't interested of her background so he stopped Jungkook from following her even after they broke up, he didn't want to take her privacy. Although he was itching to know what's happening in her life.
"But hyung... aren't you curious? Why she broke up with you suddenly?"
Jimin paused. "I am. But I'm not going to force her on telling me why, it might make her leave me again."
"It's not just too long too when I started investigating again. Although she told me it wasn't her, A friend of mine saw her at the bar. So I investigated what happened two years ago-"
They both turned to Jimin's phone on top of the table when it suddenly rings breaking the tension in the room. Jungkook sighed, he doesn't know how his hyung will react but he have to tell him because he has the right to know.
Jimin looked at Jungkook one last time before answering the call, it was his wife.
He cleared his throat and tried not to sound serious because she will sense that something's wrong. He turned the swivel chair around facing the window curtain where the city lights are the only ones that could be seen. He smiled "Hello?"
He heard noises on the backbround. It was girls mostly but he can't hear his wife's voice.
"Give it to me." It was Irene noona. He heard rustles on the other side and only talked when Irene noona said her greetings.
"Hello noona, why did you call? Where's Seulgi?"
"I don't know if it's serious or not but try to be calm okay? Don't act rashly. We're waiting for the doctor, she suddenly fainted so we took her here in the hospital. We called you because you might wonder how she is."
"What?" Jimin turned to Jungkook. Millions of questions started forming in his head but he did try to calm down and asked one. "Is she okay?"
"We don't know. She was busy with things, she must've been exhausted."
Jimin's head ached that he closed his eyes and massaged his temple. Damn, She sounded cheerful everytime he called so he concluded that she was doing fine, he didn't even bother to ask if she's okay by herself there.
"We'll call you again once we hear what the doctor says."
"Okay, thank you noona." She has a baby to take care of but she still went to the hospital. Her wife have great friends. He felt thankful.
He ended the call after saying goodbye. He covered his face with his palm, he can't help but get worried.
Jungkook stood there watching his hyung, he was now having second thoughts if he should tell him, he already looks worried about Seulgi noona.

Jimin stood up from his seat taking his phone from the table and dialed someone.
He can't sit still while waiting for the news. He has to be there.
"Sungjae? It's me. I need your help."
