Two month later...
I opened my eyes and stretched as I removed the covers. I stood up and made my way to the washroom as I entered I turned on the tap water and brushed my teeth and washed my face. Once I was done I removed my durag and brushed my waves for a bit I then put it back on and made my way back into my room. I turned on my PS4 and grabbed my controller.
I sat down and smiled as I remembered the day when Lyla started crying because I wouldn't give her the controller. I miss my baby so much talking to her over the phone is no where near the same as seeing and hearing her in person. I clicked GTA and went on my phone as it loaded. I decided to call Laila so I can talk to Lyla.
"Hello who's this" she said into the phone with her soft voice
"It's Kaleb" I replied as I played GTA and multitasked
I waisted for a respond but there was none. So I removed the phone from my ear and changed the call into FaceTime. She soon answered it and flipped the camera to Lyla.
"Hi princess" I said with excitement as I smiled in the camera
"Papa" she said into the phone as she grabbed it from Laila
She put the phone in her hand and looked down at me.
"Blow Dada kisses. 1, 2, 3" I said as I counted
"Muah" she said as she blew a kiss to me the same time as I did to her.
"What you doing pretty girl" I said as she fiddled with something
She begun talking in her own language and I agreed and responded like I understood what she was saying. I was listening to her talk I was just about to respond when I heard a male voice.
"Laila" I said as I looked hard at the phone
"Your on a call to talk to your daughter not me" she replied with attitude
"I heard a mans voice Laila" I said trying to control my anger
"Listen if your not going to talk to your child then bye" she said as she hung up the call
I looked down at the phone shocked. I then shot her a quick message.
2:48- Laila if you have another nigga around my daughter I promise to god I will deal with him😡
2:59- Kaleb I'm a grown woman and I can bring whoever I want around my daughter thank you🙄
3:00- Laila you steady playin with me first you wanna leave the country and shit and now you on this bullshit.

I threw my phone across the room it hit the wall and fell to the floor.
"Fuck!" I yelled as I stood up and walked out my room
I made my way towards the steps and walked downstairs. I recently bought a new house it's about a 40 minute drive from my moms and pops crib it's in more of a white people community so it's unexpected. I went on YouTube on my TV and blasted my music as I sat down and lit a blunt.
"Had a knife in my back when I wrote this shit, I looked back and I laughed when I noticed it" I rapped as I rolled up my blunt
Laila's POV
"She's so adorable" David said as he played with Lyla
"No!" She snapped as she pulled her toy out of his hand
"Be nice" I said as I tapped her hand
She looked at me with a glare. I smiled at her and picked her up she fussed. I kissed her over and over again and she started laughing and smiling.
"Come on lets teach her how to walk" David said as he sat down on the floor
"Okay" I said as I smiled and sat down as well
I stood her up on her two feet and she held her balance. She then bent her knees and sat down Me and David laughed as I tried to stand her on her feet but she kept falling back down.
"Baby stay up. You want candy?" I asked as I stood her on her feet
She quickly nodded. David picked her up and stood her up in front of him.
"Walk to mama" he said as he helped her keep her balance
She held her toy in her hand and took one step. She took another before falling on her bum. I clapped as I smiled and picked her up she smiled and clapped to. I kissed her and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I then stood her up and held her hands.
"Walk to David" I said as I let go of her hands
She took one step then followed by another. She took two more steps and then leaned forward falling in his arms. He laughed as he lifted her in the air and she smiled. I recorded it and posted it on my Snapchat story.
"Good job baby" I said as I crawled over to her and David
"How much months is she again?" He asked me as he looked at me
"9 months and 1 week" I said as I picked Lyla up and stood up
"Right" he said as he stood up
He stared at me and I stared back at him. Usually when Kaleb stares and me I look away cause he makes me feel giddy and blush. But for some reason I stared back at David.
"Your so beautiful Laila" he said as he reached for my hand
"Thanks" I said as I kissed his cheek and made my way out of my room
He followed behind me as I walked downstairs.
"Can you hold her well I get her apple sauce?" I asked David as he sat on the couch
He nodded and reached for Lyla. She sat in his lap and he turned on the TV. I made my way to the kitchen and I opened my fridge and grabbed her apple sauce. I took out a small plastic baby spoon from the drawer and I slowly made my way to the living room. I hugged on my tank top trying to keep it down but it kept rising up show my stomach. I was now three months and I was starting to show I had a baby bump and it was cute.
I take pictures with it but I don't post it because nobody knows that I'm pregnant.
"Come Lyla" I said as I sat down and opened her apple sauce
She crawled over to me on the couch and stood up jumping on it well holding the couch still. I stopped her and scooped a spoonful of apple sauce into her mouth. She bummed as she bounced. I recorded her and sent it to Ayla as she danced and hummed at the same time.
Since she's gonna be one in 2 months and 3 weeks I made a decision that I will go back to Detroit to let her see her father and his family. Well she's staying with them I'm staying at my moms and pops house because I can't be around Kaleb I'll be to emotional. I also wanna tell him that I'm pregnant but I don't think I'm ready to tell him yet. I don't wanna tell him at all.
Ayla's POV
"Stop" I said to Tavon as he tried to take my phone out my hands
"You ain't givin' me no attention and I ain't even gon'. be able to see you until after yo' birthday" he said as he stared at me with a blank expression
I rolled my eyes. I put my phone down and stared at him he smiled as he pulled me on his lap.
"Watchu want me ta' get you fa' yo' birthday?" He asked me as he held my waist
"I already told you I don't want nothing from you" I said as I fiddled wit his chain
"Look at me" he said as he lifted my face by my chin
"What" I snapped annoyed
"Who you talkin' to?" He asked as he glared at me
I rolled my eyes. He slammed me on the bed and pinned my hands at top of my head with one of his hands well he laid between my legs.
"Who you talkin' to Ayla?" He asked with a straight face
"Nobody" I mumbled as I hid my smile
"What I thought" he said as he kissed me and held my waist
"Whatever" I said as I kissed him back
He slid his hand up my shirt and toyed with one of my nipples well still kissing me. I pulled his hand from under my shirt and sat up.
"Stop being nasty" I said as I fixed my shirt
He rolled his eyes. He sat down and rested his back on his headboard. He then rolled up a blunt well he loaded up his fortnite. I sat on his lap facing forwards and then laid down.
"You got yo' ass all in my face and shit" he said as he lit his blunt
I just ignored him well I went on Snapchat. I looked at the video that Laila and sent me and smiled. I miss my niece so much I then watched her story and Lyla was in the sky well this guy held her as she laughed.
I looked confused and screen recorded it I sent it to my brother. At the end of the day I love Laila and all but how is she letting another guy around Lyla but she won't even let her see her own father. I looked up on my screen as it said bighead🤞🏽💛 typing witch was Kaleb. I opened the message.

He left me on seen so I just stood up and stretched.
"Bring me home" I said to Tavon as I yawned
He nodded. "Gimme 10 minutes. Lemme finish my blunt and this game" he said as he stared at the TV
I nodded and sat down. Tomorrow is my 17th birthday and I can't wait. I'm going out with my cousins Zaiara and Kara to the mall and to get our feet and nails done. After that I'm going out to eat but Tavon can't make it because he has to do something for my dad and Kaleb. I really wanted him to come so that we can tell everybody about us...

I had unblocked Kaleb because Lyla was being a big suck because I wouldn't let her talk to him. I called him and he answer after the second ring. I put her face in the camera and she smiled big as his face appeared on the screen.
"Dada!" She said with excitement
"Hey baby" he said sounding down.
She begun talking and talking even though he couldn't understand what she was saying. I had sent him the video of her walking so he had went on pause.
"Dada!" Ayla snapped with attitude
"Yes baby" he said as he came off pause
She let out a deep breath and begun talking. I laughed because she really does run him.

"Laila don't hang up please, just let me talk to you for a minute" I said just before She was about to hang up
She let out a deep breath and hung up the FaceTime call. She then called me back so it was a actual phone call instead of a FaceTime call.
"Speak" she mumbled.
"When she start walking like that?" I asked in a soft tone witch was non usual.
"Today" she replied.
"Was he there when she was walking?" I asked as I played Ugh my fingers
"Y-yea" she stuttered
"So you really got another guy around my daughter Laila? You really letting that guy around my daughter but you barely wanna let me talk on the phone with her and I'm her father. You know how hard it was to watch that video of the nigga picking up my daughter and smiling and shit after she took her first step That should've been me Laila! And I ain't fucking cheat on yo ass for the last time. I swear to god on my daughter life I was at the trap and I was sleeping and when I woke up she was giving me head and I thought it was a dream at first. She got mad because I told her to get out and that she was fired so she sent you the damn video and of corse you believed her and now look where Th duck we are at. And if you don't believe me check the fuck video I sent your stupid ass!" I snapped as a tear rolled down my face
I don't like to cry because it makes me feel like a bitch right now I couldn't hold it in. I missed my baby's first step and that shit hurts me especially because another nigga watched her take her first step.
"K-Kaleb I don't know what to do-" I cut her off
"Nah fuck you and your fucking nigga You wanna keep my daughter away from me then do that it's whatever. Don't call my phone no more and I won't be calling yours" I said as I hung up
I wiped the tears that fell and tossed my phone on my bed. It was cracked form hitting the wall so I was gonna go get a new one tomorrow. My phone rung and it's read My1stLove💛💍 I declined it and blocked her number. I'm done sulking over this shit maybe it's just time for a fresh start.
Laila's POV
I tried calling Kaleb again and it went straight to answer machine. I sighed as a tear fell I felt like shit. I'm wrong for letting another guy around Lyla when I know if he had another female around Lyla I would flip. I was just being petty and I feel bad for it and now he won't answer me. I love Kaleb with all my heart and it will forever be that way because he is the first and only guy I love.
I didn't mean to hurt him the way I did and I know he was crying because I can hear it in his voice. I went on my iMessages and watched the video he had sent me. It showed he was sitting on the couch with his head laid back and his eyes were closed. A couple seconds later in came the female and she had kneeled down infront of him. She pulled his manhood out and put it in her mouth well recording.
I put my hand over my mouth in shock. That bitch I should have let him explain. I tried calling him one more time and it went to answer machine. I sighed and wiped the tears that had fell. Whenever I think I do shit right it's always wrong...
