Jacob laughed loudly, taunting the Blighters that tailed your hijacked carriage. Blighter gunshots fired over your head, making you flinch. This was all Jacob's fault. You should've stayed on the train.
"Catch me if you can!" Yelled Jacob, who was having himself a jolly old time running your carriage into street lamps and wreaking havoc on civilians. Having enough of the pursuing Blighters, you pulled out your revolver and shot at them. You heard shouts of pain, carriages crashing, and police blowing their whistles. It all made your head throb with pain. Jacob was gonna pay.
Once only a few carriages were left, you turned back again to face ahead, and saw a Rook stronghold nearby.
"Jacob, there's the stronghold!" You pointed and yelled. His eyes flickered over to it, and he began to turn while you turned back around and shot the remaining Blighters. Once all of the Blighters were disposed of once and for all, Jacob stopped the carriage by the stronghold. You were still angry at Jacob, but of course, you helped the Rooks pack up the hijacked cargo into the stronghold's house. When all was done, you sighed loudly, red faced, anger sparking in you like a match.
Running up to the rooftops, you began to make your way to the train, and a smiling Jacob followed close behind, laughing.
"What fun! I wonder who else we can piss off today!" He said, cheerily. You ignored him, and continued running. This wiped Jacob's satisfied grin right off of his face. He hated it when you were upset.
"What's wrong, love?" He asked, "Was that not fun?" All of a sudden, you came to a halt. Jacob followed suit, stopping just behind you. You turned to face him, and he knew he was in for it.
"No, Jacob, it wasn't fun! We damn near died because of you! All because you had to make a stupid scene and let everyone in London know that we stole that carriage!" You yelled at him, and then poked at his chest condescendingly. He grabbed your hand, and pushed it away from himself rather harshly. This shocked you a little, but you did not show it.
"(Y/N), I'm sorry. Look, you know I can't resist messing with the Blighters! They're hilarious when they're mad!" He said with a chuckle. "(Y/N), the only person that I don't like to piss off is you, even though you're very cute when you're mad." He said. It made you blush a little, but you tried to cover it up with your hand.
"Flattery won't work this time, Jacob." You said. He smirked, and began walking at a slow pace.
"Judging by your blush, (Y/N), I think it did work." He said, ever so smugly. He was so stupid, but somehow... Funny, and lovable. His little comment made you giggle a little under your breath. Suddenly, you got an idea...
"Hey, Frye!" You yelled to him, making him stop walking and turn around slowly.
"Hmm?" He asked, walking back towards you. You gave him a seductive look, and, taking the hint, he walked closer. When he got close enough to you, he craned his neck down for a kiss, but you stopped him about an inch away from your face by pushing back on his chest, which stunned him.
"Race you to the train." You whispered to him, and you broke into a run towards the station. Jacob stood still, processing what just happened for a good minute, before snapping back into reality.
"Oi!" He yelled after you, "That wasn't fair!" And he broke into a run, chasing you all the way there. He was a fast runner, but nothing could keep up with your head start.
You crossed the rooftops with skill, jumping and sprinting over each gap. You could hear Jacob's heavy boots sprinting from behind you, and it made you chuckle.
"I'll pay you back for this!" He yelled after you, breathing a bit heavy. You laughed back at him.
"You're really in no position to do that now, are you?" You yelled back, taunting him. You could hear his pace quicken, indicating that he wasn't fooling around. This made you laugh to yourself, and small smile spread across your face.
"(Y/N)!" He yelled, but this time it sounded closer to you. You picked up your pace, running for dear life.
"He's so stupid," You thought to yourself, "But I love him anyway."

So haha here was my first one shot! Hope u like it. I thought it was a lil bit cringy, but that's to be expected from the first one, right? Idk why I chose Jacob, he just came to mind first.
