Second POV:
Your world decided to stop turning after you heard the big and sudden confession of Iwaizumi in front of your parents, at dinner, in a fancy place... You didn't mean it to happen, but the next thing you knew, your father was pulling up to your house.
Iwaizumi tried speaking to you several times at the restaurant, but you didn't seem to respond to him or even hear him for that matter. However, he was leaving home after you get to your house and he didn't want to go with things like this between you two.
He can't think of a reason that could get you upset and ignore him for the rest of the night... except... 'Maybe she was taken back by my confession? Maybe I shouldn't have told her so soon...'
You get home, and you were all walking up to the house. Your parents could feel the tension between you and felt worried and sad for Iwaizumi. So for once, your father did something that he never thought he would do.
"Iwaizumi-kun, I think you have a few words to say to (Y/N). We will leave you two a moment to talk." Your parents leave you both alone outside your house, giving Iwaizumi a chance to speak to you and try to get things back to normal.
"(Y/N). Listen, can we talk? About what I said, I'm..." He can't even look at you, deep inside he knows he can't change his feeling for you, but he really doesn't want things to end between you two.
"Did you mean what you said?" You interrupt his sentence to ask the one question that was going round and round in your head.
"Eh? Ummm... Yes, I did, but..."
"You're not lying or tricking me right?"
"What? Of course not! I wouldn't lie about something like this." He is somehow starting to panic; he really doesn't want you to misunderstand him right now.
"So... You really love me...?" You ask feeling the heat go up to your cheeks.
"Yes, I do! I really do!" He grabs your hands tightly and tries to look into your eyes, but you can't seem to find the courage to look at his. "But... I'll understand if you don't feel the same way..." He starts to loosen his grip on your hands.
"No!" Now it was your turn to hold his hands tightly. "I mean... I... Feel the same too..." Your heartbeat is beating so fast; you are worried it's going to explode.
"Sorry? I didn't really hear you." You cursed yourself for your low voice at the moment! You are forced to repeat it now.
"I feel the same way about you too..." You say it a bit louder now.
"Which means... Can you say it more clearly please?" Now, let's keep in mind that you are a nervous wreck and you are blushing, and your heartbeat is beating at lightspeed. You can't really tell that Iwaizumi has things all figured out already.
"Oh my God!! It means I love you too! Is it that hard to understand?" Your irritation at his lack of understanding makes you look up at him... Only to see that he was already smiling at you and holding your hands tenderly.
"No actually. It's not that hard."
"You!! You know what? I take it back! I hate you!" You are blushing so hard at the fact that he was toying with your shyness and he even seems so calm about it.
"Ya, I love you too!" He pulls you towards him and gives you a warm and loving hug, where you can feel his heartbeat. Surprisingly, he wasn't as calm as he looked on the outside.
As the both of you were solving your little love misunderstanding, your parents... or your mother to be more precise, was watching from the window behind the curtains. She was worried that her question that awakened Iwaizumi's feeling could have broken things between the both of you.
The next few days were like living in a fairy tale! For someone who wasn't much of a morning person, you would wake up happy and ready to face anything in that day. The smile never leaving your face.
All your friends realized the sudden cloud-nine aurae that is erupting from you, and they just assumed without asking that it had something to do with Iwaizumi. Of course, at the mention of his name, you would tell anyone who was there about his big confession and emphasizing on the fact that even your parents were there.
Things were perfect. You have the perfect, caring, and loving boyfriend and to top things off he really loves you, and you love him back.
Nothing can ruin things anymore!
Or so you thought...
"Training camp?" One night you were on the phone with Iwaizumi.
"Ya, we leave tomorrow. Top schools from Tokyo are going to be there. It's a great chance to get some serious training."
"Ooooh! You better win and show them you mean business!"
"Haha! Loving the confidence in your boyfriend! But of course, I'll give it my all."
You spend the rest of the night talking on the phone and laughing and just enjoying each other. Little did Iwaizumi know, you were already planning a little surprise for your little volleyball player.
Iwaizumi had an early day, from waking up and getting ready, to waking up Oikawa and getting him to get himself ready, and not forgetting the long ride to Tokyo... He was just ready to bite off someone's head... Someone who is obsessed with Aliens!
Just as he expected, this training is not to be underestimated! These schools were on a whole different level! They are just barely getting by and winning games here and there. Their break was coming up any second now, and he can't wait to just relax for those few minutes.
As he is sitting on the gym floor, with the towel over his face, the gym door opens and footsteps are getting closer towards him.
"Are you by any chance Iwaizumi Hajime?" A young girl's voice said.
"Who's asking?" Usually, Iwaizumi has proper manners. Addressing people politely and all that. However, he is way too tired to think of politely standing up and addressing this girl.
"His girlfriend."
He pulls the towel off his face faster than you can say hot potato! "What?"
"Hiya!" You show him a wide smile, giggling at his cute reaction!
"(Y/N)!!" He gets up, carries you while spinning around! "What are you doing here?!"
"Hehe! I thought I would surprise you! I even got some snacks!" He hugs you tighter!
"Suddenly I got my energy back!" The entire team laughs at the both of you and how cute Iwaizumi can be. They haven't seen him act this cute and bubbly around anyone.
At the end of the day, you were waiting for Iwaizumi to come out of his shower so that you can spend the rest of the day together.
"(Y/N)?"
"Haji..." You turn around to realize it's not who you thought it was. It was someone you never expected to see again. Someone, you didn't think would show up here.
"Remember me?" That person said.
"Kuroo?... Kuroo Tetsurō?"
"HAHA! Yes! How have you been?" He comes close to you and goes for a hug!
"I'm... Fine. How are you?" You mini hug him back.
"Man! You look amazing! You have grown so much! Haha! Damn girl!" Your head is trying to catch up with what is happening right now. He is too close for comfort right about now...
"Can you take a few steps back away from her?" This voice!
"Hajime!"
"Oh, don't worry. We're cool. You can go back to your team. I will return her to you later tonight." Oh no...
"Wait, Kuroo I..."
"I think I was clear when I said that you should take a few steps away from her." Iwaizumi was getting close to losing his cool. The only thing that is keeping him in check is the promise he made to you.
"Dude! Aren't you a bit too attached to your manager? I said I'll give her back later. We have history." He pulls you closer to his chest and winks at Iwaizumi.
Aaaaand... The rope snapped!
"I said get your hands off her!" He walks up to the both of you and grabs your arm and pulls you away!
"Hey man! What is your deal?!"
"Enough!! Both of you!" You step away but still close to Iwaizumi. "Kuroo, this is Iwaizumi Hajime. I'm not their manager. I'm not even in his school. I'm..."
"She's my girlfriend. So hands off. She's MINE!" That made you blush a tiny bit...
'Jealous Hajime... HOT!'
"Wow... Damn ok! Relax dude." He puts his hands up in surrender. "But oh well... I was going to try." He winks at the both of you.
"Too bad. You had your chance. Blame yourself for being a blind child!" Damn Iwaizumi!
"Hajime! Shut up!"
"Huh? You knew that we knew each other?"
"You think there is something about the girl I love that I don't know?" Ok, Iwaizumi... the girl next to you (You) is going to faint if you keep making statements like that.
"Haha wow... I think I'll leave you two be. It was nice seeing you again (Y/N). If Mister hot boyfriend is ok with it, let's keep in touch this time." Kuroo walks away still smirking and laughing at how Iwaizumi was acting.
"I can't believe..." Nope, enough Iwaizumi.
"Who knew the great Iwaizumi Hajime was so possessive and jealous over his little girl." You hug him and hide your face in his chest.
"I-I'm not jealous ok! I just don't like people coming near you! Can't they say hi from far! I don't get it!" Adorableness is pouring out of him!!
"You honestly have to choose!"
"Choose what?"
"Adorable? Or hot? You can't be both at the same time!"
"What...?" Poor Iwaizumi is lost!
"Nothing, just stay as you are!"
"Ok?... But I'm serious! Stay away from this Kuroo guy! I can feel it! He's dangerous!"
"Hai, hai!"
"I'm serious!"
"And I'm serious! You are adorable!"
"Augh! Just shut up! You are adorable!" And he smothers you in his big muscular arms!
Let's just say it was a long, but fun night with your possessive, jealous and adorable boyfriend!
