for the past few months, everything went well between rj and maine. their relationship became deeper, stronger and established sabi nga ng mga nakakakilala sa kanila kulang na lang naman ang pagsagot ng dalaga sa binata.
sa nagdaan na unang pasko at bagong taon ng dalawa, napagkasunduan na sa laguna sila dahil hindi naman makakauwi ang nanay ni maine na nagtatrabaho sa singapore.
huling gabi nila ito sa laguna, may kaunting salu-salo para sa birthday ni rj at pagkatapos ay didiretso na sila sa maynila sapagkat may natanguan na gig ang dalaga kinabukasan.

lumapit si riza at niyakap ang dalaga. napansin naman ni riza na medyo nanlalamig ang ate nya

kasi nandyan yung mga kaibigan niya from high school tsaka yung ibang kamag-anak nyo baka kasi hindi nila magustuhan
"ate sino naman ang kinantahan mo na hindi naappreciate ang ganda ng boses mo? chill ka lang kaya mo yan. sige na fix yourself at introduce na kita"
riza smiled at maine warmly and patted her shoulders then she went to the make-shift stage
"good evening po! can i have everyone's attention?"
everybody turned to riza's direction
"asan na yung birthday boy? kuya?!"
hey! i'm here! rj smiled while raising his hand what's up sister?
"ayan nandyan ka pala. oy dexter bawal uminom si kuya magdrive pa yan ha" paalala ni riza
"hindi daw siya pinayagan ni maine. kuya mo under!" dexter teased then his high school friends turned to rj "binata na eh! uy pero nasan na si maine? maine biro lang ha mahal ka nito"
"very good! ayan siyempre mag wish muna kami for kuya rj. kuya 19 ka na wish ko for you siyempre good health and more blessings. thank you for being the best brother ever! i love you"

"mom? dad?" tawag ni riza sa mga magulang nila
"ako anak wish ko lang aside from good health at more success, sana sagutin ka na nung nililigawan mo" his dad grinned "basta mag-aral mabuti and continue being a great son"
"ako naman anak wish ko sana madalas naman kayo dito ni maine para we can spend more time together. thank you anak for being a responsible and loving son and brother hopefully next year boyfriend na rin" then his mom winked "we love you rj"

"ok at siyempre, ate maine?" riza called
maine reluctantly went to the stage with her head bowed down and her hand clasping her guitar. riza gave her an encouraging smile then handed over the microphone
