Lauren was up and away to go to Steven's studio at 5 am. Her heart was heavy as she didn't want to leave the small sleeping girl but she forced herself to do so.
Once Lauren was in the studio, she met all kinds of people. Rising stars, winners of competitions, and of course, famous artists.
Lauren's first day at the studio, she already had a song down called 'Going Nowhere'.
Lauren's second day, she had a song down called 'Reflection'.
Lauren was busy with songs but she was also missing all the girls even thought it had been only two days and they always texted each other.
Lauren's friends were artists she met at the studio or some of her crew. Along the way, her Twitter got verified and she was also becoming friends with famous people.
Lauren's third day and she was currently learning one of her new songs.

"You've all been debby downers these past days! Let's all do something fun, c'mon." Normani urged.
"Maniiii," Ally groaned.
"Nope, c'mon and Lauren said she's joining Demi on tour, right? Demi has a concert here in a couple of weeks. We can buy tickets for that!" Normani exclaimed as the three other girls nodded.
"Mani's right! We should go buy tickets and then get out so we can also have our fun." Camila said as Normani smiled at her.
"Alright, I'm with it." Dinah said as Ally nodded also.
"Alright, everyone, to the car!" Normani pointed out the door.

Since it was a Friday night, the four decided to go to a beach that was about an hour and a half away. It was a private beach that Normani's dad owned since he was a successful lawyer and had cases all over the world.
Everyone sat in the car on their phones except Normani who had to drive but she was listening to her Beyoncé with heard headphones plugged into her phone as she danced while driving.
Camila's phone vibrated a couple times as she saw some texts.
One from Veronica.
Camila's eyes widened at the person she saw first as she quickly clicked on the message.
-we should hang sometime and be us again, I'd really like that. I'm back from Australia, for good. I'm also going to Miami U.(:
Veronica was Camila's first kiss in ninth grade. The two were the best of friends in middle school and as freshman year approached, Camila was confused about her sexuality. Veronica was already bisexual and Camila always knew about that.
One night, Veronica or "Vero" admitted to Camila that she liked her. Vero kissed Camila that night and the two dated for a couple months until Vero had to leave and left Camila in despair as Vero's last words to Camila face-to-face was "I love you."
This was a story Camila never really shared with anyone, she was indeed in the closet the whole time the two dated. Vero said long distance would be hard if she was going to be in Australia so she broke it off just like that and left the next morning to board on her plane.
When Camila found Austin, she thought she really liked him and played the card that she was always straight since she was in the closet back then. She was bisexual but felt like she would be judged for it, she was scared even though she had nothing to worry about.
Sinu suspected something but never asked Camila anything since she waited till Camila was brave enough to speak up and said she did also have a liking in girls but Camila never did.
Vero did send Camila letters and Camila loved them but soon the letters stopped. Even if Camila's feelings for hers had faded since then, Camila knew they could come again. Camila really did want to see Vero, it had been some time since they've seen each other, way grown than before.
Camila decided to text her back.
-I go to Miami u omg and yaaaa I wanna see your face...it's been some time don't ya think
-A lot of time. I'm arriving at miami u tomorrow but I rented a loft/apartment by there(:
-where?
-I forgot...my chauffeur recommended me it and he's driving me there tomorrow, so I'll tell you when I'm there, princess.(:
Princess. Camila smiled at the simple gesture Vero made at her. Vero usually called Camila princess as a small nick name and Camila was really the only one that called Veronica, Vercy. The two were joking about street names of each other one day and Camila thought of that and it stuck with her.
-okay, Vercy.
-I'll see you tomorrow, princess
Camila left it at that as she checked her other message. It was from Lauren. Holy shit, Camila thought to herself.
Talking to Veronica made Camila forget about Lauren for a bit.
-I made a twitter for all my updates, Camz. I want you to follow me so I can tweet you there too. My manager wants me to be on there more so people get to know me more. @LaurenJauregui

-I know you do, you always do. I miss you:(

Camila went on Twitter and went on her account she rarely used and followed Lauren on there as Lauren instantly followed back.
Camila went on Lauren's page and saw Demi was talking fondly about Lauren on her page which gave Lauren thousands of followers.

"We're here! Everyone off their phones and to the beach. I bought a soccer ball also." Normani said as she unlocked all the doors, getting out as the girls followed suit getting off their phones.
The four girls walked to a gate as a man stopped them.
"Normani? Is that you?" The big guy asked.
"Yeah, in the flesh. We never see each other, so hey." Normani smiled giving the guy a hug.
"This is Bruce, he's basically like a guard to you but really he can be just one of our friends." Normani introduced us as we all shook his hands and he let us in.
Normani led us through the garden archway to the back of her garden which showed a beautiful beach.
"Jesus, Normani. How long is this beach?" Camila asked.
"Thousands of miles, he likes to add more in when he can so he doesn't run out of spots to film or fish or whatever. My dad likes doing water sports too," Normani said as we walked down a cobble pathway as we took off our shoes and let our feet hit the cool sand.
"C'mon! I'm taking my clothes off first! Dibs!" Dinah shouted as she ran towards the water as she stripped her clothes.
"There's no dibs in stripping! There IS a dibs in who gets to say prayer first!" Ally shouted as she followed Dinah.
"Dinah was totally a stripper once in her life." Normani commented as Camila laughed loudly pushing Normani playfully to go towards the water.
"I HEARD THAT!" Dinah shouted as she raised an arm in the air.
The four girls went inside the water as they then heard some laughter and voices a little bit to the right of the beach.
"Is there someone else here?" Ally asked looking at Normani.
"We share the beach, but only with like three other families. It's cool, they all have a fair share since they're all business partners. So anyone who is here, one of their parents could be business partners with my dad."
"That's cool, hey Mila, is something wrong?" Ally said as Camila stood in the water dazed.
"The girl...getting out of the house with the bags...I think..that was someone I knew." Camila mumbled as Ally walked closer to her giving her a pat on the back.
"The Iglesias family?" Normani asked as she cocked her head to the side, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Yeah, I think she's going to Miami U."
"Is she a friend of yours?"
"Something like that but let's get back to playing around." Camila said as she forced herself to smile as the girls nodded awkwardly.

The girls were in the car on the way back home and this time, they weren't on their phones.
"I TOTALLY BEAT YOU! We've been talking about this for an hour, I won against your team! Camila and I won soccer." Dinah said as she glared at them.
"That is not true. Mani and I got that last goal in!"
"We called time out, it didn't count!"
"That was a cheat move, you owe me chicken!" Normani said as she parked at their place.
"Fine, whatever." Dinah gave up as Camila gave a small laugh. They all got out of the car and went to our room.
"Look we have new across neighbors." Ally said with a smile.
Camila looked in the door and saw a familiar girl with black hair.
Camila stared inside as the girls walked in their room.
"Mila, you coming?" Dinah poked her head out.
"Just a minute..." Camila trailed off as Dinah shrugged.
"I'm gonna close the door but not lock it, so lock it when you're in." Dinah said as she closed the door.
"Vercy?" Camila said as she knocked on the door.
Vero appeared in front of the door as she looked at Camila, eyes wide.
"Princess!" Vero called out as she hugged Camila.
"Vero..." Camila said as she hugged her back, nuzzling her head into her neck.
"Camila, you look beautiful. You always do." Vero said as Camila smiled.
"I missed you..."
"I missed you too princess."
"You said you were coming here tomorrow?"
"Change of plans, dad wanted me to get used to where I was going to live." Vero explained as the two stayed hugging each other but backed their heads up.
"Why'd you stop sending letters?" Camila questioned.
"It was too much since every time you sent your letters, I'd fall in love a bit more and it hurt. I had to stop for awhile. I hoped you understand." Vero shrugged.
"I do now. Oh god, how I missed you." Camila hugged her tighter.
"I missed you too...and everything we had." Vero said as she cupped Camila's face and looked at her lips.
Camila gulped not knowing what to do and it got more confusing for her when Vero captured her lips in a kiss.
What Camila didn't know was Dinah wanted to see what had Camila shaken up and saw all of that through a peephole, eyes widened.
