Since the Hermione and Fred were in different years, they couldn't spend a lot of time together. Though, the two were crafty so they always figured things out. They always made things work.
The common room was where you'd find them the most. Even when doing homework, they were always somehow touching. Fred hand on Hermione's knee. Hermione scooting slightly closer so their arms would brush together.
When Hermione would read, Fred would pull her into his lap. He loved watching her read. Hermione face would scrunch up or she'd smile depending on what happened.
When Quidditch was in season, Hermione would always watch practices. She'd always cheer Fred on at games. And if they won, Hermione was there to give Fred a good job kiss.
What most people didn't know was that Hermione would never help on pranks. She believed that was strictly Fred and George time.
All in all, Fred brought out Hermione's more spontaneous side and Hermione would keep Fred grounded. They were perfectly matched.
