The months after our honeymoon have flown by. I actually enjoyed our time in Hawaii. I had never been before and Teo showed me all his favorite spots when he wasn't trying to convince me to stay in the house. When we came back home it was business as usual for the both of us. Not to mention I was trying to finish the twins' room and get the house together. I didn't want to have any work being done while the twins were home so everything had to be done before their arrival. It was stressful but I was determined to get it done, it also made it so neither one of us could be indecisive since we had a timeline to keep. All of the house is furnished with new paint throughout the house and new lighting. I even changed one of the spare rooms on the main level into my office. The only room that isn't done is the ballroom because I'm thinking of changing it into something else but I just don't know what yet. Ultimately the house looks like a perfect blend of Teo and I.
I got the house staffed also because the place is fucking huge and I can't clean everything all day everyday. Never thought I'd hire people for my house but it's definitely the thing to do but no nannies this fucking way. I refuse to have someone else raising my fucking kids, no fucking way sway. My business is doing great. I got rid of all Coletti's dirty money and friends while increasing my revenue by three percent. It feels amazing running my business while also stimulating growth for it. I finished my sophomore year maintaining my G.P.A. Teo and I talked and I'll be going to school in the fall. He wasn't happy about it at first thinking I'll be stressed with everything but it's important to me to graduate on time. Plus, my mother is going to help me and Mama Joyce, Carmine's mom, so I'm in good hands along with my babies.
We had our baby shower a couple weeks ago since I had finished majority of the planning before my wedding Jas and them took it upon themselves to finish it all. It was beyond beautiful, everything I imagined it to be and more. I had planned a Jungle book theme since I loved the book as a kid. The boys got so much stuff and I appreciated that everyone came out to celebrate with us and getting my babies things. That plus what I had already started buying the moment I found out I was having two boys they are set for a while. I'm officially eighteen weeks pregnant semi patiently waiting for my princes. Right now I'm at the mall with my girls. I've mostly picked up clothes for the twins as usual. Suddenly I'm hit with a sharp pain.
"You good Zay?" Jas asks eyeing me.
I fake a smile, "yeah just a little kick."
We continue onto the next store. I feel the pain again making me sway a little. "You okay Danica?" Bruce asks holding me up a little.
I shake my head tears brimming my eyes, "No." Suddenly I feel liquid gushing down my legs.
Teo! I scream through our link.
"Shit" Rea says noticing me making them turn to face me.
What's wrong tesoro? Teo answers.
They're coming.
I'm on the way. Where are you?
No! Get the bag from the house and I'll meet you at the hospital.
"C'mon we need to get you to the hospital" Elle says leading me out the store.
"Did you tell Matteo?" Jas asks.
I nod as I'm hit with another contraction. These bitches are fucking painful. Giselle rushes us to the hospital and when we get there Angelica is there by the door waiting. She's a friend of the family also a supernatural doctor. Teo wasn't comfortable with Carm delivering the twins and neither was any of the rest of us so they asked Angelica to do it. She leads us to a room just as Teo rushes through the door with the whole crew following. I hiss feeling another contraction hit.
"You okay tesoro?" he asks.
I nod, "now that you're here yes."
He kisses my forehead as we walk into my room. "Get undressed and I'll be back" Angelica says before walking out the room.
I quickly remove my clothes putting on the gown before Teo helps me onto the bed. God I'm terrified, I've been waiting for them for what feels like forever and now they're almost here. I'm freaking out. What if I mess up? What if I don't know what I'm doing? What if they hate me?
"Calm down I'm right here tesoro" Teo whispers kissing me softly.
Angelica come back into the room with a couple of nurses. They hook me up to a bunch of machines. "We're going to track your contractions and I'm going to see how dilated you are."
She slides between my legs inserting two fingers in me. "Only one centimeter so still a while to go. Are we still doing natural?"
I nod, "that's the plan."
She nods before they all leave the room just as my mother walks in. "How are you doing sweetie?" she asks coming to my side.
"I'm okay for the most part, just super nervous. Thank you for being here" I answer.
She kisses my forehead, "of course." She takes the seat next to my bed. I had decided when I first found out that I could only have two people in the room with me that the other would be my mother. I couldn't imagine giving birth without her by my side.
Everything happened so fast. One minute everything is okay then the next my babies are rushing to get out. "Okay Danica they can't wait any longer. On your next contraction I need you to push down as hard as you can" Angelica says.
I nod before pushing with my contraction, "ah!" I yell.
"Great baby" my mother encourages dapping my forehead.
"Another one is coming Danica" Angelica mentions.
"Fuck!" I scream through the pain.
"You're almost there tesoro" Teo whispers brushing back my hair.
"Give me a good push." I groan pushing down before I hear little screams. I open my eyes to see Teo cut the cord before a nurse takes Axel wiping him off before wrapping him in a blue clothe. Teo kisses my cheek wiping my tears. "Here it comes Danica."
"Shit!" I hiss pushing down.
"Good baby you're doing great" my mother says smiling.
"You got this tesoro" Teo adds rubbing the back of my hand.
"I see the head, push Danica."
I push down again, "you're never fucking touching me again" I hiss through the pain.
He chuckles, "alright tesoro."
I push again, "I want drugs" I cry out.
My mother laughs, "too late baby."
"You're almost there Danica, give me a good push."
I push down groaning. Why'd I do this dumb natural bullshit. I hear the cries of my little Ajax and watch as Teo cuts the cord. They wipe him off just as I feel my eyelids getting heavy.
I open my eyes to see everyone in the room and Teo holding our sons. "Thank god!" Jas yells seeing me first. "Now you can convince baby hog here to let us hold one."
"Damn Jasmine" Rea says with a giggle.
Teo walks over placing my son in my arms. He kisses me softly, "grazie tesoro, ti amo cosi tanto cazzo. Voi tuti siete il mio mondo."
"Prego mio cuore," I look down at my boys.
"What are the names?"
"Axel Luigi Mancini" I say pointing to Axel in Teo's arms. "Ajax Vincent Mancini" I lift up Ajax in my arms. They are beyond beautiful and mine. My babies.
"Can I hold one?" Jas practically pouts after washing her hands.
I giggle, "yeah."
She smiles taking Ajax out my arms. Ajax is wrapped in green while Axel is in blue making it easy to tell them apart for the moment. My little identical princes. I watch as Teo reluctantly gives Axel to Elle. I can't help but to smile as everyone gushes over my sons. Teo lays next to me on the bed kissing my forehead. Everything we're gone through was for this moment to see our love come alive like this. Axel begins to cry causing Gio to hand him to me. Ajax begins to cry directly after and Rea hands him to Teo. The nurse walks in smiling.
"Right on time, time for the little guys to eat" she says. "Are you comfortable with them being in the room?"
"No, out" Teo says automatically.
They leave out the room and she helps me with breastfeeding the twins. I had taken out my piercings when my breast started getting really heavy and painful. Once they are both done feeding Teo takes them while I fix myself. I take Ajax brushing down his dark curls causing him to scrunch up. I can't help but to study his face. He has my eye shape and my nose with little pouty lips, they are the perfect blend of the both of us and here I thought they'd look more like Teo.
"Ti amo bambino" I whisper kissing his forehead.
Teo kisses me softly, "ti amo tesoro."
I smile at him before looking back at our babies. Our little blessings. We've come so far and now we're parents. I know the road ahead won't always be easy or perfect but I know I'd do anything for my little family. I won't let anything or anyone harm them. Long as Teo and I continue to work on our relationship I know we can handle anything. It's not that bad being the vampire's soulmate after all.

I can't believe it's over already, I spent like two or so years writing this and is ultimately became one of my favorite stories I've ever written. As you guys were reading it I was reading it again and again. Thank you guys soooo much for loving this project as much as I have if not more. I can't put into words how you guys make me feel just from the support alone. Danica and Matteo story is not fully over, I'll be adding bonus chapters later in time. Plus, you guys may see them in the Gio and Jas stories.
