You heard your phone ring, it was Lincoln calling you.
"Y/N I need your help, Michael is down, I need a car and some help to bring him to the hospital!" He said as soon as you picked up the phone.
"But... Babe, what happened?" You said frightened.
Lincoln sighed. "There is no time to explain, please, come here as quickly as possible."
You could hear the anxiousness in his voice. "Where are you right now?" You said waiting for an answer.
Lincoln was getting nervous. "Panama Nation..." His voice was fading away.
You started to worry "Lincoln... Lincoln??"
You palmed your head, nervously walking towards your car, still not hearing answers from the other side of the line.
Until you heard someone groan.
"Sorry I was checking Michael if he was still breathing." He said apologizing. "Panama National Park."
You sighed, relieved that he was reacting. "OK I'll be there in 5 minutes."
You drove towards the National Park and ignored every single traffic light which was telling you to stop by lighting red.
Not much later you saw Lincoln standing in the middle of the park.
Michael was laying next to him.
As soon as Lincoln saw you, he grabbed Michael and tried to carry him.
You didn't care about the park rules and drove straight through the lawn to get to Lincoln and Michael.
A lot of people had to avoid getting passed over by your car cause of your driving "skills".
You stopped the car when you reached them and helped Lincoln to get Michael in the backseat of your car.
Michael was still not reacting on any movements you made.
You observed Michael and saw he'd got a shotwound at his stomach.
He was losing too much blood and you saw him becoming paler and paler.
The blood was literally leaking out of his jacket.
You opened his jacket so you could observe the wound closely.
"We need something to stop the wound bleeding!" You said, looking for something to cover the wound with.
Lincoln searched through the car for something like a lap but couldn't find anything to prevent Michaels bleeding stomach.
"I can't find something to stop the bleeding." Lincoln said desparate.
"Wait... " You pulled off your blouse and wrapped it around Michaels stomach.
You sighed while looking at Michael. "This should help for now." You mumbled, only wearing a top.
Lincoln and you were getting in the car and drove to the hospital.
When you arrived, you got out of the car and helped Lincoln to get Michael in his arms.
Lincoln dragged Michael out of your car and walked towards the counter of the hospital.
"He needs help right now!" He said to the woman behind the counter, pointing his head at Michael.
"As soon as possible!" He said stuttering to the woman behind the counter which didn't show any interrest in Michaels situation.
Lincoln was still carying Michael who was still losing much blood.
"We need to know his name and data." The woman said looking at her computer screen.
You looked at Michaels pale face and then back at the woman's. "What do you not understand about the words 'right now'?!" You yelled at the woman.
The woman looked at you with a quit annoyed face and typed something in her computer.
"Look at him!!" You said to her.
The woman stood up from her chair and looked over the counter.
It was the curiosity which made her do that.
She saw Michael's blood-leaking body and her eyes were widening from the fright.
She quickly grabbed to phone next to her and called someone. "We have an emergency at counter 4, we need a stretcher and some narcotic drugs ASP!"
You saw that Lincoln couldn't hold Michael much longer, his arms were slightly shaking.
After the woman hanged up the phone, you two heard some noise coming out of the alley behind you.
You turned around and saw three men appear with a stretcher and an infusion pile.
They parked the stretcher next to Lincoln.
As soon as Lincoln had Michael layed down on the stretcher , the three men headed back through the alley with the stretcher and Michael on it.
Lincoln and you followed the men , but when you reached the room were Michael was brought to, one of the men pulled you back.
"You cannot enter this room during this surgery!" The man said.
"But... I'm his brother and I need to know what's going on in there." Lincoln said furious.
"Sir, I need to request you to wait behind the doors, otherwise I have to kick you out of the room by calling the security." The man said.
You grabbed Lincolns hand. "You have to trust them, they will take good care of Michael, Okay?" You said to him.
He nodded his head and you two walked slowly out of the room, heading for the waiting room.
When you sat down on one of the chairs you both sighed deeply.
"So, what happened exactly with Michael?" You asked Lincoln.
Lincoln sighed again, looking at the ground. "We were walking through the park, discussing some things about how our week went, when suddenly a crazy man appeared..."
You nodded. "What happened next?"
"I think he pulled the trigger because he still thought we were the 'missing' inmates of Fox River." He said.
You looked at his eyes. "But, how.... you're acquitted of all the crimes they thought you did, 3 years ago!" You asked lincoln.
Lincoln looked from your eyes back at the ground. "Some people, just like that man, don't like us because they still think we're quilty." He said.
There was a moment of silence. Nurses and doctors passed by and you both were deeply thinking.
Suddenly Lincoln cleared his throat. "He.... the man, should of shot me, NOT Michael." He said froncing his eyebrows.
"I had to protect him... now he's in the pain that I deserved." His eyes were focussing at one point, getting wet, like every moment they could drop a tear.
You grabbed his arm en leant against his side. "You couldn't do anything Lincoln, It's not your fault. They should of lock that man up that shot Michael. You have to blame THAT man not yourself ."
"I ... I don't even know if he's gonna survive this." Lincoln said sadly.
You pulled his face into your direction so that you were both looking into eachoters eyes.
"Listen to me Lincoln, he's gonna survive this! He is your brother, he's as strong as you are and he's going to drag himself through the pain and survive!"
You gave lincoln a kiss on his forehead and looked back into his eyes.
"Just have a little faith."
Just when you started to hug eachother, a man behind you scraped his throat.
"Uhumm.. are you the relatives of the man who's just brought in and went through a surgery?" Somebody said.
You left Lincolns arms to turn around and see who's aked you that and saw a doctor standing in front of you.
"Yes I'm a friend and he is his brother." You said.
The doctor grabbed his blocknote and his pen. "Right, if you give me his name and his birthdate, then we can visit his room." He said.
Lincoln also got his head up and wiped away the tears he left over his face. "His name is Michael Scofield and he's born on September 8, 1978."
The doctor wrote the data on the blocknote. "Okay, if you follow me I'm gonna lead you to his room."
You two stood up and followed the doctor to Michaels room.
He opened the door and you both saw Michael laying on a hospital bed.
The doctors had pulled off some of his clothes so they could get better sight of the wound.
His chest was fully exposed and you could see the tattoos he had having placed before his time in prison and the prison break.
You also saw the stitches on his belly and some dried up blood.
His body was less pale than before you brought him in the hospital.
"We anesthetized him so he couldn't feel the pain of getting the bullet out of his stomach." The doctor said.
The doctor walked over to the monitor and checked some numbers out. "He might wake up when most of the drug has left his body."
The doctor left the room so you could have some personal space with Michael.
You two walked towards the bed and hold on its kind of fences.
Lincoln closed his eyes. "Michael, if you can hear me... I'm sorry for what happened. I'm ..... I hope you will get better... I love you man."
A moment of silence broke through the room until you heard someone coughing.
"I love you to Lincoln." Michael said while opening his eyes slowly.
You heard him struggling to get the words out of his mouth.
"Michael!" Lincoln gave his brother a huge hug.
"Ooof, that hurts a little." Michael coughed.
Lincoln carefully left the hug and got up.
Michael and Lincoln looked at eachother and both let out a soft laugh.
"I missed you, man!" Lincoln said.
"I missed you too!"
