When I am in the present moment appreciating all that I live
And I allow only good intentions to rise as I make room to receive
All of the dreams and desires I believe I am capable to achieve
As I discipline my mind not to give validation to my ego's concerns
Knowing that it's the most important thing I can do to discern
For once I know that no one can make me think the thoughts in my head
Then there's no need to waste time thinking about what others could've said
Understanding that the outcome of the present is focused thoughts and beliefs
I am deliberately making a habit of consciously selecting the thoughts I conceive
I understand that everything I'm focusing on with appreciation feels as good as I breathe
I am disciplining my mind to only focus on the kind of reality I want to live
And the more I practice gratitude and compassion for the versions of me that I see
The more connected I feel with the powerful source of energy coming from within.
