Someone blows a horn. It's time. The big team Rainbow Rocket army is ready to head out.
At the front, Giovanni, Lysandre, Ghetsis and Cyrus were having a discussion, so you joined them.
"Y/n! There you are! We've been waiting!" Ghetsis exclaims. You nod:
"Sorry, I overslept. Are we ready now?"
Giovanni nods and grabs your arm:
"Yes. You and I, we're going to Melemele. Ghetsis, Akala. Cyrus, Ula'ula. And Lysandre, Poni."
You shake your head:
"Giovanni, I can't, my fam-"
Cyrus pulls you back:
"No discussing, Y/n. You do what you're told. Now."
You smile:
"Of course."
Turning around, you face your own little army:
"Okay, lads. Today, it's time! All those years of waiting, brought together in this very moment! We're writing history! Today, we fight! So follow me, onto the boat, and onto Melemele! They won't know what hit them. I-"
"GIOVANNI!!!" Lusamine screams, running towards you on the courtyard. She continues:
"What is the meaning of this?!"
Giovanni nods, and two grunts grab Lusamine by her arms:
"Sorry, darling. You'll have to be very quiet for some time." He says smiling.
You clench your fists not to do anything reckless, and watch Lillie's mum getting taken away.
You turn back towards the army:
"Let's just get onto this freaking boat, shall we?"
Lillie was already on the boat, in your own cabin.
"Sweetheart..."
"It's okay, Y/n. I won't let you leave without me, so I'm coming with you, no matter what."
You smile and cuddle, but when you both hear a knock on the door, she pushes you away:
"DUMBASS! I HATE YOU!" She screams, while walking out of the room. Giovanni appears:
"Jesus. Y/n, I wanted to talk to you about her, actually... what's happening between you two?"
You shake your head:
"No idea. She's mad at me, but I don't know why."
"If you want, I'll talk to her," Giovanni says, "for good friends like you, I could do that."
You sigh:
"Fine. Do whatever you think is best, just don't hurt her."
Giovanni agreed, and you were left alone in your room. You knew Lillie was just pretending to be mad for your own sake, but it was frustrating to deal with. Whatever'd happen, you first needed to make sure everything would be fine on Melemele.
"Land ahoy!!!" Grunts shout, so you go to the deck, and see your homeland, Alola. The salty breeze brushed your hair, and made it fly in every weird way possible.
"Here I am, Alola."
You set foot at the Hau'Oli dock, and the passport control lady approached you:
"Passport pleas- Champion?!"
You nod.
"It really ís you!!! No need for passport control, sir, go right ahead!"
You try to smile:
"T-thanks... but..."
You send out Garchomp, and he pins her against the wall:
"I'm sorry, Miss."
The army storms out of the boat, and overwhelms the dock. No one stood a chance. A grunt pulls out a gun:
"No prisoners."
You put his gun down:
"Yes prisoners, we need them."
The grunt stares at you:
"But sir, Giovanni said 'no prisoners'!"
"Giovanni's not here now, is he? Who is your commander?"
"Y-you, sir."
"Good."
Behind you, you hear the click of a loaded gun, and when you turn around, you see another grunt, pointing his gun at you:
"Filthy traito- AAAAAA!" He screams, when Garchomp burries his teeth into the grunt's arm. His claws finished the job.
You turn back to the army:
"Any questions?"
Everyone shakes their head, and you laugh:
"Let's continue, then!"
Mom's POV
Here, you see the pictures of a terrorising team in Hau'Oli, taken an hour ago. The city has fallen, and the group still residents there. Moreover, the leader of this group is Alola's own Champion, Y/n! Nobody knows what his motives are. Meanwhile, the other islands is being conquered too, and another raid party has been sighted on Melemele. Who knows what their next move will be?
Next up is frootball, where Alolan Passimian plays against Sinnoh Lucario. Stay safe if you happen to go outside.
I turn around and lay down in bed:
"My son, the leader of an evil gang? That can't be, there has to be a mistake."
A knock on the door interrupts my thoughts:
"Miss Mom?"
I recognise my sweet daughter's voice:
"Lillie!!! Come in!"
A second later, Lillie stands in the door opening, panting:
"I'm so sorry..."
But I hug her immediately. Lillie starts crying:
"I would have been here earlier, but I had to help Y/n, he's been fighting all day long, and-..."
I bury her face in my arms:
"Hey, it's fine. Tell me everything, slowly. Is it really Y/n, leading the group?"
A few minutes later, my mind was made up:
"I have to send a letter to that... fellowship! They need to attack, now!"
Lillie nods:
"Fine. And then run. Take my Altaria, and fly to Kalos as soon as possible. It's safe there."
I agreed, and hugged Lillie tightly again:
"I'm proud of you two. Make them pay."
Lillie left again, and I wrote a letter to those allies, asking for help. I hoped it wouldn't take too long. Help was needed.
Reader's POV
You sigh, standing in one of Hau'Oli's houses, gathered with a few officers.
"Good work, boys. Melemele is ours."
"What about Hau'Oli's outskirts, sir?"
Lillie suddenly walks into the room:
"All clear, I checked. Everyone ran away."
"Good. Then it's time to gather our forces, and head back to-"
You stop, because the ground beneath you crumbles, and the roof does too. You pull Lillie away and jump out of the window. When you land on the ground, you see Hau running towards you, flames in his eyes:
"You traitor!" He screams, letting his Incineroar burst flames in your direction. You send out Solgaleo to parry them:
"Hau, it's not what you think!"
"It's not?! Then what it this, Y/n?! I thought you were my friend!!!"
You stand up, and send out Raichu:
"I still am! Nothing changed!"
"Y/n, I am the Champion! It's time to get your payment for what you've done to my region."
"Come at me, then!"
You made Solgaleo block or dodge all of the attacks, but never attacked. At last, Solgaleo fainted, and Hau sent a Flamethrower your way:
"Screw y-"
Your arm got burnt, but Hau stopped screaming. You look up, and see Hau, flying into a wall. Mew knocked him out and blew him away. Lillie bends over you:
"Are you okay, love?"
You smirk:
"I'm good, thanks. Nothing to worry about. Take him prisoner!" You tell your grunts.
While Hau gets taken away, you check on your arm, and on Solgaleo. Both were okay. Suddenly, you hear a shout:
"Y/n!"
You look up, and see Cynthia, flying on her Dragonite. She lands next to you, and gives you a tight hug:
"I'm sorry, I couldn't wait, I missed you so much, and...- Wait, what's this outfit?"
She releases you immediately, tackles you down and sends out her own Garchomp:
"What's the meaning of this?!"
You hesitate:
"Wait, Cynthia, I can explain!"
"I don't care about explanation! I thought you liked us! I thought you liked me! I thought you were not like the others, Y/n..."
Garchomp received an Ice Beam shot, and roared. Cynthia turned around:
"Earthquake!"
The mighty move did a lot of damage to your army, and one of the officers screams at you:
"Kill her, boss!"
You hesitate, but turn around and let your Garchomp kill the officer. Cynthia sees what you did, and pulls you up:
"You're not... one of them?"
You smile:
"I told you I could explain."
She blushes and smiles:
"I'm glad to have you back. Let's go, then!"
"Garchomp, use Earthquake!" You both screamed at the same time. Lillie let her Mew use Psychic on the grunts who stayed alive, and in a few minutes, no grunt was left.
You hug Cynthia and give Lillie a tight hug and a kiss:
"We did it! I'm sorry for not telling you earlier, Cynthia."
She laughs:
"It's okay. The others will need to know too."
You smirk:
"Lillie has already seen to that."
She nods:
"I did. Mom sent a letter to our fellowship. Besides, Y/n, we should go back to Aether Paradise. No one knows about this, we can still pretend to be one of them."
You turn to Cynthia:
"She's right. Turn back, and join the others, okay? We'll fight together again soon."
She hugs you:
"Thank you, Y/n. You know... you've always been like a little brother to me, I want to protect you even more now." She says, smiling.
You laugh:
"I don't need protection, thanks! But, you're a great big sister to have, Cynthia. We're happy to have you on our team."
She blushes, and flies off. You and Lillie do the same, back to Aether Paradise.
"Y/n! There you are! How did it go?"
Lysandre asks, hugging you.
You shrug, panting:
"Lost all of my useless grunts. Lillie and I managed to clear the territory though. Alola is ours."
"Great job," Giovanni says, "you deserve some rest. I heard you fought both the Alolan Champion and Cynthia, and that you even managed to capture the first! That's quite a deed!"
You smile and give Lillie a wink and a kiss.
Suddenly, a grunt runs towards you:
"Leaders! A group of rebels at the gates! They're the ones you mentioned before!"
Giovanni turns around and glares at you:
"The Fellowship. Prepare for battle."
Aaaaand that's another one done! You know, I really felt like writing again!
...
It lasted for 5 minutes, but hey, I had to finish it once I started it!
And you know, I'm here in Croatia, chillin' here in bed, because lord, Keeogri is pouring down his tears on us here! Anyone from Croatia?
I mean, rain, a sleeping girlfriend and friends you ignore. There's no better time than that to write, is there? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
