It's Christmas eve. I have a dare I have to do at midnight. Dad was ok with it since we didn't really have plans to go anywhere. I have to go to the front door and howl like a wolf. better luck, it's a full moon tonight. So far, through fiverr, we've raised about $5000. We've been on here since about August and we've had some great news. Jack may be alive longer than they thought by at least four months. We have about a month left now and have done some crazy things like dying Kix's blonde hair the crazy colour of blue for a day. That was great fun. Queenie also had to paint herself blue and go around looking like that. My personal favourite though was Alfie. He had to yell out in a crowd, 'OH MY GOD I'M PREGNANT!'
The clock told me it was midnight. I opened the front door and took a deep breath. Then I howled as loud as I could. I heard someone across the street scream. Closing the door, I ended the video and sent it to the buyer. I got an immediate response. I guess they're in a different timezone. It's the same guy from the very first dare.
'Thanks for this! It's great. Just realised I forgot to ask you if it's ok to post on my YouTube Channel?'
'It's fine, but could you possibly advertise the cause for this. We have a little over a month to raise loads of money for our friend with cancer so if you could gt more people buying, that would be fantastic!'
'Will do'
After that, I went to bed being the sleepy person I am.

"WAKE UP IT'S CHRISTMAS!" Dad yelled, jumping on me.
"I'm up!" I replied, sitting up fast.
We both went downstairs and exchanged presents. We had made a deal. Half the money he would spend on Christmas presents for me would go to the trip. I was fine with it, I came up with it. The only thing planned today was that Colby, Brennen, Bradley, Sam, Kat, Oliver, Ajay, Aaron, Talia, Corey, Devyn, Taylor and the newest member of the Scherer family, Austin. He was adorable and looked a lot like Taylor. So, Dad and I got changed and prepared the Christmas meal. Last year we were all at Corey and Devyn's place. The year before that, Sam and Kat's. Next year it's Aaron and Talia's. Then Colby and Brennen's. (BY THE WAY TOTALLY MADE TALIA UP...)
The first to arrive was Colby, Brennen and Bradley.
"Estás proponiendo hoy?" I asked Brennen. He nodded at me. (IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, DON'T TRANSLATE YET, IT'S A SURPRISE. IF YOU DO KNOW, SORRY...)
Yes! It's finally happening! I can't wait. I saw Colby trying to work out what we were saying. But he couldn't. So, I changed the subject.
"Happy Christmas!" I cheered.
The mood changed and we went to the living room.
"How the fundraising going?" Brennen asked.
"We've got about $5000 so far, it's really good," I said.
"Wow, that's loads!" Colby said, looking surprised.
"It's all thanks to fiverr," I said, "And doing Sponsored Dares."
Then Corey, Devyn, Taylor and little Austin came along. Austin is only about two weeks old and has stolen everyone's heart. Bradley and Taylor began playing together. Not long later, Aaron and Talia showed up with Sam, Kat, Oliver and Ajay. Oliver and Ajay went over to Bradley and Taylor.
I loved our Christmas. It was really cool. We'd play games, give out presents, and generally have a good time with each other.

The food was amazing too, which I made some and Dad made some. Everyone seemed to agree.
"So, Quinn, no boyfriend yet?" Kat asked, raising her eyebrows.
"No!" I said. This question was asked every year.
"But there is a crush," Aaron pointed out. My cheeks flushed a bright red.
"Ohhhh!" Everyone mocked.
"Why?" I asked, "Every year!"
"Why do we do this every year?" Sam asked.
"It's just fun to embarrass Quinn," Devyn said, laughing.
"Thanks a lot, Devyn," I said sarcastically, "I really appreciate that." That got a laugh.
"Well, we all have someone to love," Brennen said, "And I'm glad that mine is Colby."
"Aw, that's Brennen," Colby said, smiling.
"But there's something I need to tell you," Brennen said, "I've been keeping a secret. Everyone here knows. And... I need to tell you now." He went down on one knee. "Colby Brock, will you marry me?"
Colby was shocked. Eyes wide. Hand over his mouth. He nodded fast, unable to speak. Everyone began clapping and cheering. They shared a kiss, making Taylor cry out an 'Eww!'. That gained a laugh as well.
"That's why Brennen kept speaking Spanish on the phone. He was telling me," I told Colby.
"That makes sense now," Colby laughed.
After the dinner, we sat around while playing on the Xbox. Rocket League of course. I was letting Bradley win the game we were on now. He got another goal and cheered.
"Nice one Bradley!"
He was really proud of himself when he won.
"Good game, Bradley," I said.
"You too," Bradley replied.
Next to go was Sam and Oliver. It was a good tournament. Corey won though. Of course he would. I swear he plays it 24/7.
Before we knew it, it had gotten late and most of the children had fallen asleep. I was getting tired due to my late night last night.
"Quinn, are you... tired?" Aaron asked, 'shocked'.
"No way! Quinn's never tired!" Sam gasped, joking.
"I am. Had a late night," I admitted.
"It is ten though," Elton defended.
"Good point," Sam shrugged.
Soon after, they went back to their houses and it was just Elton and I home for the night. I'd given out my friends' Christmas presents on the last day of school. I just got loads of chocolate which is what we all did. I got loads of chocolate from my friends, it was great. So, Dad and I shared the chocolate from Noah which was a box of Celebrations. You can never go wrong with Celebrations.
By 11PM I was fighting to keep awake and decided to go to bed. "Merry Christmas," I said as I hugged dad.
"Merry Christmas," He replied, hugging back.
I went into my room, not bothering to change into pyjamas, and flopped on my bed. Falling asleep instantly.

I got message from Harry Kane in the morning. Asking if Jack wanted to meet the rest of the Tottenham team. They all knew about the surprise and wonder if they could meet him. I replied with;
'I'm sure he would. Tottenham is the team he supports for the UK'
'I'm sure that can be arranged'
'Awesome! Thank you so much for doing this. I can't repay you in anyway to show how grateful I am!'
'No problem!'
Some people are really truly amazing. Then all of a sudden, my phone nearly exploded from notifications from fiverr. It must've been that mystery 'YouTuber'. They really did it.
I put on the groupchat (for me, Kix, Alfie, Matt, Noah and Queenie for fundraising and stuff) a screenshot of these with the caption 'Looks like we'll be busy...'.
I got an immediate reply from Noah.
'How much from them alone?!'
I replied;
'A good hundred at least'
There were so many dares for us to do ranging from shouting things in public to prank calls to really random things like throwing a spoon out of the window. Yes, that last one was a genuine dare for us.
'Let's do them today, I have things to do tomorrow'
So we decided to meet up at Noah's to throw a spoon out of his window, then drink a concoction of orange, lemon and lime. Let's just say, it doesn't taste good. After that, we did the prank calls. there were so many. Since we got people trying to track the phones, we got a phone you can't track, like the one Colby and Brennen had when they called creepy people. But one person said we needed to send a hate message. We did. Technically.
"Hello?"
"Hi, we are the people from SponsoredDares and we have been told to give you a hate message. But that is mean, so we're not. It's against our morals and rules on here. Bye,"
We hung up and stopped the recording. The person didn't like that we did that but we didn't care. They paid, we delivered.
After about 75 phone calls, we began going out and doing the crazy stuff. Noah was nominated to do 10 knock and runs. It was on the message we received. Queenie had to fake fall onto a load of toilet paper which was stacked neatly. Then we had to start a flash mob. But it didn't work so we were just dancing in the middle of a mall. It was great fun. Then Alfie ran around shouting, "WHAT IS MY LIFE?!"
After a long day, we were done with three quarters of the dares. We decided that since tomorrow, Kix and Alfie were of to see family, Queenie and I did prank calls while Noah and Matt did the crazy ones. Their choice not ours.
"I'm proud of you, Quinn," Dad said that evening.
"For what?" I asked.
"You've done so much for Jack, it's amazing," He said.
"How can I not? I've known him since I was four," I said, "I wanted to do something great for him in all of this."
"That's really sweet," He said.
"I am sweet," I said, laughing.
"No, not all the time," Dad said.
"Understandable," I laughed.
"I don't know who I prefer, seven year old you or fourteen year old you," Dad said, "Seven year old you was really cute and funny but fourteen year old you is nearly a grown up."
"Being sven again would be fun.It means none of this would've happened," I shrugged.
"Yeah, but then you'd be more of a nightmare for me," He sighed.
"Was I really that bad?" I asked.
"Well, you were very energetic meaning you made me really tired. But I loved it," He said.
"Could you imagine life without me?" I asked.
"Loads of the things we've done have been your ideas. I don't think I can," Dad said.
"Wow, your channel relied on ideas from a stupid kid," I laughed.
"You weren't stupid, you were clever for your age, like you are now," He said.
"Well, I won't disagree with that," I shrugged.
Then Circa came over to us, jumping up on the couch and laying down in between us.
"Hey Circy" I said, petting her. "How old is Circa?"
"She's about nine now," Dad said, "She's getting old." (NOT IRL.)
"Don't say that," I said.
"It's the truth, you know it is," He sighed.
"I know," I sighed, petting Circa still. It's quite therapeutic, stroking her fur. It feels nice.
"Don't think about that now, you have enough on your mind," Dad said.
"If this is life when I'm fourteen, what's the rest of it going to be?" I joked.
"Good comes from bad things," He pointed out.
"True," I replied. Then I got a notification. From fiverr. Of course. An embarrassing dare. Why did we make that a section?
"What've you got to do?" Dad asked.
"Um, run around the mall singing," I sighed, "I'll get Noah and Matt to do it tomorrow. I'm doing prank calls with Queenie tomorrow."
"I like how you're doing this for your fundraising," dad laughed, "It's really funny."
"Yeah, but it's really annoying getting notifications at midnight," I said.
"How much you raised now?" He asked.
"umm, I'll check," Then I gasped, "$6843.65"
"Wow..."
"How? Last I checked it was on about 5000," I gasped.
"You haven't got much to go," Dad said.
"Still 4000 to go," I sighed. Then yawned. "I might go to bed."
"It's literally 8:30," Dad laughed.
"You try staying up late doing shit," I said, "Then we'll talk."
"I have done that, so we can talk," He said with sass.
"Dammit," I moaned, "Well, I'm going to bed, good night."
"Goodnight," Dad replied.
I went upstairs to my room and got into my PJ's. After one final check on my phone for notifications and putting it on charge, I went to sleep.
