"Mommy when is Daddy coming home?" My 7 year old daughter ask.
"Soon baby soon." I sighed.
You and August have a 7 year old daughter together. Though August only saw her once due to his duty to our country.
That feeling that your husband or boyfriend or even family member could never come home because you learned that they got killed. Is the worst feeling in the world.
Jessie and Me haven't seen August in 2 years. He missed Christmas's and Birthdays.
"But mom I want to see daddy now." she started tearing up.
"I know baby, I know." I hugged her. bringing her into my arms
Knock Knock
"Hold on Jessie I'll be right back. Let me get the door."
I walked downstairs. A spark of hope in me is hoping that he's on the other side of this door.
I took a deep sharp breath in. Getting nervous.
I grabbed the door knob opening it, feeling disappointed.
Who was at the door? Who was playing a joke!?
I went into the kitchen, sitting down at the island. Pinching the bridge of my nose.
Sighing
"Looking for me?"
That familiar voice that I knew so well. The one I missed for 2 years.

You looked up, following the sound of the voice.
Looking towards the door spotting a caramel chocolate boy, wearing a military camo outfit.
Eyes growing wide, frozeing In place. Your eyes started to water.
You ran over to him. The man you haven't seen in 2 years. Your man.
You jumped on him. Wrapping your arms and legs around him.
"OMG OMG OMG OMG I missed you so much OMG" you started crying in his neck.
August wrapped his arms around your waist.
"I'm missed you too baby, don't cry. Don't cry."
You pulled away from his neck smashing your lips into his. Oh those soft kisses you missed so much.
You moved your lips slowly. Hunger and desire in the kiss.
"God I missed you so much" August said against your lips.
"DADDY!!!" Jessie grabbed his leg.
You climbed down from August, letting him pick up her.
"Daddy I miss you so much." she hugged him.
"I missed you too princess."
You hug them both.
"Our family is together again."
