Jennie eonnie scowled.
"Why? What if he remembers? Don't you guys want him to remember? Chaeyoung-a, don't you want him to remember?"
She asked, being defendant.
"But what if not? Then it's just a disappointment."
Jennie eonnie answered herself instead of letting me respond.
"You two, stop it. That dpesn't help."
If it wasn't for Jisoo eonnie who stopped them, they will continue like this.
We continued walking along the village going back to my own house.
I stopped walking once we are infront of my house...
I hears their steps are halted and I can feel their stares behind me.
I looked up at the starry sky...
Small clouds are passing by.
Cold wind blowing through our bodies.
"Should we get a drink?"
I asked.
No one answered for couple of seconds until I faced them.
"I want to have a drink."
Their faces paled, eyes widened, lips parted, jaws almost dropped.
"Is that Chaeyoung who's speaking?"
Lisa asked sarcastically.
I had never...
Really never drink.
Because I hate alcohol.
I am going out with them whenever they drink, but I will just eat their foods and drink some juices.
"Should we?"
I repeated, with my eyes pleading for them to go.
"Chaeyoung-a, I know we don't have work tomorrow but would that be fine?"
Jennie eonnie asked me with so much concern lacing on her voice.
"I just want some shots, I won't get drunk, neither the three of you."
I answered and chuckled.
I can see how it is hard for them to let me...
I can see how worried they are...
I can see how they are looking at me with pity...
"Fine, fine. Let's just go buy on the store and go back here with chicken as well."
Jisoo eonnie pulled us by walking on her own as she stated and invited.
I smiled as I saw how Lisa got excited and Jennie eonnie frowning at her is the one of the funniest thing.
We walked, convenient store is not so far, we just took almost ten minutes to reach the location. We entered and looked around...
"Chaeyoung-a. Let the chicken be delivered to your house now. We're just going to pay for this."
Holding bottles of soju, Jisoo eonnie commanded.
I nodded.
"Shouldn't I be the one paying? I am the one who invited you."
I suddenly asked.
They faced me and shook their heads.
"This is the first time you invited us so the drink will be our treat. You should pay for the chicken though, so don't worry."
They also bought some chips along with the bottles, my eyes landed on it while Jisoo eonnie is answering.
I nodded again and dialed the number of chicken delivery.
"Hello. Good evening, madam and sir. This is whatta bam bam chicken restaurant."
"Are you still open for delivery at this hour?"
"Yes, ma'am. We're open twenty four seven, what's your order, ma'am?"
The guy from the line answered.
"Three boxes of spicy sweet honey chicken. Please deliver it on 197, Lagalag Street, Village Bagongligo."
I ordered and informed the address.
"Okay, ma'am. Please wait for ten to fifteen minutes."
He responded.
"Okay, no problem. Thank you."
I thanked and then I hang up.
"Let's go?"
Jennie eonnie invited and I nodded.
We walked back to the house.
"I wonder why..."
While walking, Lisa walked backwards as she faced us...
"It isn't so shocking for me to know about you and Jungkook yet...I feel so lonely."
Jisoo eonnie slapped her arm making her whimper a little loud.
"It's fine. Just don't brag it infront of Jungkook, I don't want him to remember."
I declared.
"Why?"
Jennie eonnie confusedly asked.
"Don't you really want him to remember?"
She added.
I smiled...
"Of course I want, but what I don't want about that is that I know he will come after me again, and we will both face the same problems before. And..."
I stopped for a moment, and my steps halted intentionally and I looked up at the sky again...
The moon is being covered by the passing clouds.
"I don't want to bother him again."
I mumbled...
I looked back at them...
"He is having a good life now. I shouldn't interrupt her anymore."
I mustered a smile...
Even though I can see their devastation towards my words...
I still chuckled and shook my head as I continued walking again.
"In addition, it looks like he is fine with Tzuyu. Let's not bother that."
I added with the same smile I had mustered earlier.
I can sense their pain for me, the pity towards me.
Then, I stopped walkimg as we reached the front of my house.
I opened the gate and entered first.
The smile faded as soon as they can't see my face.
"That's right, Park Chaeyoung...
Continue that seeming act of being fine."
We entered and waited for the chicken...
I turned the television on. Movie is showing, good, we can enjoy at least this rate of moment.
The doorbell rang.
I stood up and went out of the door.
I opened the gate and saw the delivery man.
"Good evening. Card or cash, ma'am?"
He smiled and asked.
"Card."
I answered handing my card.
"Thank you, ma'am."
He handed me back the card together with the boxes of chicken.
I closed the gates as O thanked back the delivery man.
I entered and found that the bottles are opened already, and so as the chips.
I.prepared the chicken and tissue.
I sat on the carpeted floor where they are situated.
"I hope he is fine."
While pouring the soju on the tiny cute glass, Lisa stated.
"Haish, you're still bragging Jungkook. Can't you see Rosè is just faking a smile?"
Jisoo eonnie motioned like she is going to slap her again, Lisa positioned as if she is going to shield herself...
"Let's just forget it. Let's drink and be happy for him."
I suggested lifting the one bottle.
They lifted their bottles and glasses for cheers as well.
"Seemingly fine...
