"Ahhh," I yawned as I slowly rose up from my bed. "Hmph, morning time already?" I said as I hung my head low still really tired.
I guess I should go take a shower and get ready for my brother to come pick me up.
I walked to the bathroom slowly undressing and stepping into the cold water, "Burrr. So cold, but it's the only way i'll wake up I guess."
After I finished showering I walked out to my closet and just grabbed a white t-shirt, a pair of light blue ripped jeans, then my white converse and put them on. Now all I gotta do is brush my hair and straighten it, no makeup for me today.
It's only 9 A.M. right now, my brothers not coming until 11. So that gives me some time to do my daily doodling. I walk over to my desk and sit down, playing one of my favorite songs, Comatose by Skillet. Thanks to a Sasuke/Itachi AMV I seen on YouTube. I begin to draw my dream life as Asuka Mayuko, a now 17 year old girl who was lost at birth, and has been roaming through villages as she comes upon them. Soon to come upon the hidden leaf village and become an amazing shinobi.
Damn. I wish this dream could become reality.
I'd love to be a ninja of the hidden leaf and be best buddies with the knuckle head Naruto, and the Raven himself Mr. Sasuke Uchiha. Oh and I couldn't forget about Shikamaru he's like the boy version of myself, lazy and caring. Or so my brother claims, haha.
Speaking of my brother, He should be here in about 40 more minutes, I better go and wait on him outside of my window. I put my things away and crawled through the window putting in earbuds and watching my favorite episodes of Naruto Shippuden over, beginning falling asleep..
HONK!! HONK!!
"AHH!" I screamed, startled, nearly falling off of the roof.
"Dammit Jake, why did you have to do that, why not come wake me up peacfully!" I yelled, frustrated with my brother.
"Sorry sis, didnt see ya there." He said scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah, whatever you say... jerk."
"What was that?"
"What was what.."
"I'll get you back later for that." He said with a slight giggle and evil grin.
"Yeah, yeah, let's just get going before Jarrod comes outside." I refuse calling my "father" anything other than his actual name, I don't even think of him as a father after what all he's put me, my mother and my brother through, I don't even understand why she's still with him. I guess it's not up to me though, if it was.. he'd be a goner.
I climbed down and got in the passenger seat. "So where are we going Jakey?"
"Froyo then the mall, tomorrow is your birthday after all.. haha.." he said uneasy.
"Umm.. okay, why are you acting weird."
"What, acting w-weird? I'm not acting weird." He said stuttering like he's nervous or something. My brothers never really been good at keeping secrets, so i'll figure it out sooner or later.
"Alright." I said ignoring it knowing that i'll find out before the days over with.
As we drove up and parked at the froyo palace, as me and my brother call it, I got way too excited and ran inside ordering my favrotie, vanilla with strawberries and nuts, yummy. My brother on the other hand got cookies and cream with extra oreos.
"You get the same flavor everytime sis, that's no fun." He said in a dissapointed tone.
"I know I know, I can't help it, its just so good. My yogurt is like ramen to Naruto."
"Well I guess you got a point there."
"Yeah haha, i'd love to eat ramen with Naruto."
"I know sis, me too. So, what are you doing for your birthday tomorrow?" He asked changing the subject.
"Hmm, Same thing as last year. Naruto marathon and cosplay at the comic shop."
"Come on sis it's your 18th birthday, you gotta do something more exciting than that."
"What exactly do you have in mind?"
"Uhhh, what? N-nothing.." he said nervously
Hmm what was that about? What is he planning?
"Why are you acting so strange you've been like this all day Jake."
"I'm not acting strange I just got brain freeze." He said, obviously lying.
"Yeah, yeah okay."
"Tomorrow 8P.M go to the comic book shop but dont wear a cosplay costume." He said in a weird tone, like he's trying to hold something in that he dosen't want to say.
"What's the point in going if im not dressed up?"
"Just do it okay, for me."
"Alright I guess, where to next?" I ask as we finish our froyo.
"The mall so you can pick out a gift. I need to get something for myself while you're at it."
"Okay, thanks!" I say giving him a big hug.
"Well, let's get going." He said, hugging me back.
We walked back to my brothers car and got in it heading towards the mall.
I know exactly what im getting, some more Naruto figures to go with my collection!
"Turn the radio on Jake, I don't know how to work this fancy car!"
As he clicked the button one of my favorite songs began to play and I sung along with the radio and Jake, as he clearly likes this song as well.

"You have a good singing voice Jakey." I said surprised.
"Your ok, i'm better." He said laughing.
"Don't make me go Sakura on you!" I say back angirly.
"You know she's my dream girl sis, fiesty and sexy at the same time!" He said souding like a total weirdo.
"Okay, first of all gross, second of all keep that to yourself." I said laughing in disgust.
He smirked at my response, while continuing to focus his eyes on the road
"We are about a minute away from the mall, so when we get in there you go get what you want and i'll meet you in about an hour or two at the entrance." He said souding very supicious again.
"Okay, you better not be planning on getting me something weird, by the tone of your voice." I said a little worried but laughing at the same time.
"Trust me, i'm not. I'll see you and a couple of hours." He said as we pulled up to the mall and parked.
I got out of the car walking slowly behind my brother trying to figure out which way he was going but no luck I lost him in the croud. "Dammit." I mumbled to myself. I guess ill just go get what I wanted. To the Anime actionfigure place I go!
The first thing I noticed was a combined figure of Naruto and Sasuke fighting and I thought it was perfect. I guess that didn't take long at all I still got almost 2 hours to burn waiting for my brother, I guess i'll go walk around and try to find him without getting caught. First place Im gonna go is straight to the guitar place, because I know Jake loves to play guitar.

"Hmph" nothing, I guess hes not here. Where could he be..

After about an hour of looking I finally found him.. for some reason hes in the cosplay shop on the 3rd floor of the mall, i'm trying not to get caught by him, but still trying to see what he's doing. He's bought some stuff it looks like, but I can't quite see because they're already in a bag. "Shit." I said a little too loudly not noticing my brother was standing right behind me..
"Were you spying on me?" He asked raising his eyebrow at me.
"W-what spying, n-noo. I was just uhh, I was just roaming by and I saw you so I was gonna suprise you." I said scratching the back of my neck trying to play it off cool.
How did he get behind me so fast?
"Um, okay but we better get going, tomorrows a big day sis. I want you to come to the comic book shop like I said at 8, remember not to dress up."
"Okay, I guess." I said confused, As we walked down the stairs back to the car and headed to my house.
"Bye Jakey, I guess i'll see you tomorrow at 8."
"Alright i'll see you then, happy early birthday little knucklehead sister." He said with the biggest grin on his face.
Weird.
I climbed up onto the roof and opened my window and crawled in heading straight for the shower. I undressed and turned on some warm water feeling really relaxed as it hit my pale skin. "Now this is a good ending to a good day." I said as I finished up and went to my room sliding on some shorts and a tank top, I walked over to my bed and grabbed my Naruto sleeping hat and put it on.
I wonder what Jake was hiding from me today.. I thought as a started falling fast asleep.
