"Miss, it's me Qiqi" Qiqi whispered quietly as she looked through the iron door's small window. She only saw her host lying there without moving or speaking.
Qiqi thought that maybe her Miss was sleeping with her eyes open again. Qiqi shook her head and took out a small pin from her head. She broke off one of the iron wires sticking out and then she moved it around in the lock. The door soon opened
"Yeah!" Qiqi cheered quietly before walking inside. She went up to her Miss and almost cried out loud. Her Miss was in such a pitiful state. Her clothes were almost completely tattered and she was covered in dried blood. Her eyes were also completely red.
"Miss, I will avenge you!" Qiqi said as she looked at her Miss with teary eyes.

"Miss, no need to thank me"

"Miss I will get you out of here, it will hurt but bear with it" Qiqi bent down and lifted Piper slowly. It did hurt a lot for Piper because her whole body was filled with bruises and scratches.
Qiqi carried Piper in a princess carry and then she ran outside as fast as Flash. She went out of the lair and ran straight into the woods. She found a cave very far from the base and laid her Miss down
How did she even open the door?
"Miss, I only did it the same way you did when you sneaked into the kitchen to eat snacks in secret," Qiqi said as she got a robe from her bag.
You knew?
"Miss, I know everything about you" Qiqi smiled as she stared into her Miss' eyes
Is she a mind reader? How does she know what I'm thinking?
"Miss you are so funny! There's nothing such as mind reading! I only know Miss so well that I can see what you are thinking by looking at your eyes!" Qiqi laughed and changed Piper clothes.
How did you find me?
"Miss, I only followed my heart."
... Are we soulmates?
"Miss, I don't know what that is but if you say so" Qiqi then went outside to gather some branches. When she was back she made a small fire. She didn't worry about the kidnappers finding them because she was far away.
"Sleep now Miss, the 4th prince will be here shortly" Qiqi smiled at her Miss while poking a branch in the fire

"Oh, then you can just stare at the ceiling"

"Master, there is smoke coming from there," Lu said as he pointed at the direction of the smoke.
"En" Mo Fan nodded and then he ran straight to the fire. The fire could be made by the kidnappers.
Mo Fan hid in a bush 10 meters from the cave and saw his wife's personal maid and a big lump lying on the floor. He stood up and walked to the cave
"4th prince!" Qiqi shouted when she saw the 4th prince. He finally came!
"What are you doing here?" Mo Fan asked with a cold voice. She was supposed to stay at the temple.
"I found Miss!"
"Where?!" Mo Fan's cold face disappeared and a worried one replaced it. For the past week, he couldn't sleep or eat. He only searched and searched for his wife
"There," Qiqi pointed at the lump.
Mo Fan looked at the lump and sighed in relief. He went up to it and took a good look at his wife's face which was sticking out from the robes. Her eyes were bloodshot and her face was ashen.
Mo Fan clenched his fist before taking out a bottle of pills. He threw them into his wife's mouth and then he poured water. When he saw her swallowing them he sighed in relief again.
"Where is the kidnapper?" Mo Fan asked Qiqi. He must punish them for doing this to his wife
"That direction" Qiqi pointed as she wiped her Miss' face. She was going to ask the 4th prince what he gave her Miss but before she could ask, he had already disappeared.

Mo Fan stood outside the small stone hut and smirked. He kicked open the door and then he searched around. The hut was small and there was nothing inside but a stone table and a bookshelf.
Mo Fan scoffed and went up to the shelf. He tried to move a few books around and then he found the lever disguised as a book. How could he not know that there was probably a secret room here? Of course, he also knew that the lever was probably one of the books. Almost every single noble had a hidden room like this. He was no exception.
A stairway down suddenly appeared on the floor. Mo Fan walked down and when he had walked all the way down, he saw a very big room filled with entrances to other rooms.
"Qi Yi, come out right now," Mo Fan said in a low voice. The one able to kidnap his wife without getting caught by the guards was undoubtedly Qi Yi
"Tch, you finally found me huh?" Qi Yi scoffed as he came down from the chandelier on the ceiling.
"It was not hard"
"You want your wife back?" Qi Yi asked with a childish voice.
"No" Mo Fan didn't need his wife back. She was already safe after all. He came here to kill this brat.
"Heartless as always" Qi Yi chuckled in scorn, "I feel so bad for your wife who has been tortured this whole week only to be greeted by a husband who is abandoning her"
Mo Fan stared at Qi Yi with freezing eyes. The area around seemed to have been frozen from the cold aura he excluded, "I am here for your head"
"Hahaha! Of course, you're here for my head! What other reason is there for you to visit me? What other f*cking reason?!" Qi Yi laughed out loud with sadness.
"None" Mo Fan answered.
"I knew it, heartless bastard" Qi Yi looked at Mo Fan with sad eyes. His heart felt like it had been pierced by a thousand needles but it didn't bother him that much. It wasn't the first time he had felt this kind of pain after all.
"Last words?" Mo Fan asked Qi Yi with an emotionless tone. Normally he would never waste time with these last words but this time the one he was killing was Qi Yi. Considering their past relation, he would give him some mercy.
"Why?" Qi Yi looked at Mo Fan like he was going to die from sadness, "Why?!"
"Do you really wanna know?"
"Yes?! I wanna know why you killed them! Why did you kill mother?! Why did you kill my brothers?!" Qi Yi screamed out loud with tears streaming down his face. His mother and his brothers died because of this bastard. He just wants to know why they had to die
"They were in the way," Mo Fan said before pulling out a dagger and putting it against Qi Yi's neck
"That's it? HAHAAHA! I should've known! I should've known that this was the reason! Did I really expect another answer from you? You are never capable of feeling anything. You are just a heartless demon" Qi Yi held his forehead and laughed. He looked at Mo Fan and smiled bitterly as he thought back to his 14 years of life. Ever since his family died, he had been running away from this bastard while thinking of 1000 of ways to kill him. He thought that one day he would get his revenge but he should've realized that he could never beat this heartless demon.
"..." Mo Fan didn't say anything and only looked at Qi Yi with his usual cold eyes. He was right. He was only a heartless demon incapable of feeling anything.
"Can't you at least say something? Please!" Qi Yi shouted as he stared at the cold floor. He wanted the heartless demon to say something. Was it too much of him to want that?
"Fine don't say anything! But do you wanna know something? You are never going to live a peaceful life! When everyone finds out what you did, you will die! Just like mother and my brothers! I hope you die lonely and scared with no one by your side! I hope you die such a painful death that you start to scream and beg for mercy! This is what you owe me!" Qi Yi screamed with even more tears streaming down his face, "Just kill me already"
"Goodbye, little brother," Mo Fan said one last time before cutting Qi Yi's throat. If you paid extra attention you could hear a tint of sadness in his voice.
