I walked into the motel room, having caught a taxi to get me back. I figured Dick Roman would want all cameras on me as I left. I held in the news until I got back to the motel. I had turned off the Bluetooth phone a couple minutes into the interview, making an excuse that I had a phone call. I know I pissed off the boys but it was making me uncomfortable.

"What the hell, Melinda!?" Dean yelled just as soon as I walked in. They both stood up and started to bombard me with questions. I held up both my hands, shutting them up.

"First of all, I did it so I would seem more natural," I answered them. "Second, I got the job." A smile started to grow on my lips. "I start tomorrow." A big smile was on my lips now. The boys were silent and the flask was nowhere to be seen. I was able to hear the crickets outside, giving it a comedic feel.

Sam cleared his throat, a smile danced on his lips. "That's awesome! Now we got an insider!"

"Yeah, and she's more than likely to get killed," Dean muttered, walking back over to his bed.

The two men started to bicker, so I went ahead and took a shower. I could still hear them while the water was running. It was about fifteen minutes before I finally got out. Naturally, I grabbed a towel before walking out. I looked at my reflection, looking for any blackheads or zits. That's when I noticed Dean's coat. And that it was suddenly cold.

Bobby flickered to life behind me. I squealed but kept my towel up.

"Sorry," he muttered. "But this was the only time I could get you away from those two idjits."

"What do you want, Bobby?" I said flatly.

"Simple. I wanna hitch a ride into Roman Enterprises."

"No way," I replied, squinting my eyes at him. "No. No one wants you to go vengeful. He's the one that killed you, right?" Nod. "Yeah, no. You're not going anywhere near Dick."

"And why should you?"

"Bye, Bobby," I muttered, grabbing a bar of soap and touching him with it. One thing I checked on the ingredients was that it was made of salt before buying it. Just in case.

Even though I was feeling really weird, knowing an old dead man was watching me, I changed into a pair of red pajamas. I walked out and apparently my face was pale because you can bet that I got questions.

"What's wrong?" Sam asked, his eyes squinting with concern.

"Just a little, uh, ghostly," I answered, hugging my chest with my arms. Both Winchesters frowned and looked away, not wanting to talk about Bobby.

"Okay, so," Sam started, "first day tomorrow. What are you planning to do?"

"Work, obviously," I scoffed. "And try and find the guy hacking Devoro's file."

"Do you even know anything about computers?" Dean retorted, crossing his arms. "You're like, freaking Dory!"

"Really? Do you really wanna start this now?" I growled. I squinted my eyes and sighed. If he really wanted to argue after a ghost just watched me change, I was gonna be pissed. "Sam gave me a crash course last night when we came up with the idea."

"Crash course on what? How to use Google?"

"Guys, stop," Sam groaned, holding the bridge of his nose. "Seriously, you two haven't argued yet, why now?"

"Dean started it!" I defended myself just as Dean said that I started it. I glared at him just as he yelled at me.

"This is serious, Melinda," Dean said. "These Leviathans want our heads on a plate to eat for dinner! This isn't just a ghost or-or-or a demon!" My breath hitched at the black-eyed sonsofbitches name. He noticed and turned away, not going to apologize. I quickly sat up camp on the floor and immediately went to bed before Sam could protest.

"Thanks," I mumbled to the taxi, paying and getting out. He drove off, allowing a girl on a yellow scooter to pull up. I ignored her and hurried inside. I had to swipe my new pass card to get into the main building. Talk about security.

I quickly made my way to the elevator, the girl following in my footsteps. I got into the elevator and hit the shut door button before she could get in. I wasn't sure if she was a Leviathan or human or anything in between. I couldn't risk being killed. I quickly went to my floor and found the director.

"Hey, you must be Sidney, correct?" the director asked as soon as he saw me. "Awe, you are a pretty thing." He said that in a low whisper. I awkwardly looked away, making him think I didn't hear.

"Y-yeah, that's me!" I answered enthusiastically. Reading his name tag, I knew his name was Pete. "Nice to meet you, Pete!"

"Ditto," he smiled. The redhead girl walked in from the elevator and hesitated to pass. That gave Pete an opportunity to stop her. "Charlie, hey, Charlie!" He patted her arm rather roughly, making her take off her headphones. She quickly turned off her loud music and smiled at him.

"Hey, Pete!" she greeted him cheerfully. "What's up?"

"This is Sidney Brown, she's new," he summed up. "I want you to show her to her new desk and show her how to work our interface and programs."

"Y-yessir," she replied with a bit of a lisp. "Come on, Sid! Your desk is near mine!"

How do I already have a desk? "Awesome!" So now I'm going with the unknown girl to an unknown location... am I about to die right now?

"Nice shirt by the way," she blurted. I looked down to see the new grey Iron Man shirt with red flannel around my waist. I tried to look as much as a computer geek as possible, but I was quickly liking the outfit.

"Thanks, Iron Man's a tech genius and I think all computer techies should aspire to be him!" I pushed up my black rimmed glasses with a smirk. Lying was getting easier nowadays.

"Really? I personally like Hermione from—"

"Harry Potter!" I exclaimed, catching her attention. "Smart, logical, and a great role model for females." I gave her a full-hearted smile. "I like the way you think!"

"Apparently, so does Dick," she huffed, pushing red hair out of her face. I quirked my head to the side as we rounded a corner. "He gave me an encrypted file owned by one of our competitors. That bitch is tough to crack."

I opened my mouth, stopped, then continued. "Dick or the file?"

She laughed slightly and shook her head. "The file, Sid. Anyway, now I've got Darth Vador looking over my shoulder."

I whistled and pushed the frames up again. "Mmm, I'd be stressed out."

"Oh, yeah, and this guy went all out. He even has a jackass program that pokes fun at you," Charlie grumbled. "Seriously, this guy has a big ego."

I huffed a laugh, remembering stories that the boys told me. "You're tellin' me."

"Yeah, I was here all last night," she groaned, rubbing her right eye a bit.

"Wait, but I saw you—"

"I was on a coffee run," she laughed. "Harry had to wake me up this morning."

"Harry?" I muttered the question.

"Yeah, I'll introduce you to him once we get to our desks," Charlie answered.

We rounded the corner and found a stocky man. He eyed me then they went to Charlie. "Hello, my queen!" he laughed. "Who's the newcomer?"

"Sidney," I shot my hand up, remembering my alias. He shook it. "I'm Sidney Brown." Charlie then grabbed both of my shoulders from behind and started to shake me.

"She's another book nerd!" she squealed. "Look at her shirt!"

Harry smiled and gestured to the empty desk near theirs. "Welcome to the family!" I sat down at the desk and started personalizing my computer. We were talking, more like arguing, about how Jar Jar Binx deserved more in the Star Wars franchise when my desk phone started to ring. It was another number from the office.

"Hey, guys, gimme a sec," I interrupted our argument. I spun my chair to have my back away from them and answered the phone. "Brown."

"Hey, Sidney," a slick voice answered. I knew right away it was Dick. I grabbed a notepad and pen before he said anything else. "Can you come up to my office for a bit? It seems that we had a problem with... well, I'll tell you when you get up here."

I forced a fake laugh. "Just trying to get me alone, are you? I'm on my way." My last sentence was serious so he knew that I was just joking. I hung up the phone and found four eyes on me. I pushed up my fake frames. "Darth Vadar wants me..."

Charlie patted me on the back then continued her work on the file. I eyed her while I left. I needed that damned thing. I just didn't know how to get to it.

As I walked away, I snuck my earpiece from my pocket and slipped it into my ear. "Sam, Dean, you on?"

"We're here, what's wrong?"

"He's calling me to his office, stay online."

I repeated the steps of my interview day, going up the elevator, down the hall, first door on the left. I knocked before entering the forsaken dungeon. Dick Roman, aka the Head Honcho, sat at his desk which faced the door. His eyes found mine and his signature scaley smile found his lips. One thing I noticed was that we weren't alone. A woman with a stern expression stared down at me.

"Uh, you called?"

"Sidney! Come on in," his voice boomed. I felt like a student going into the principles office. "Now, I know it's your first day but we have a special job for you."

I strutted to his desk, my hands fidgeting but not just as the nerd act, I was truly terrified. "U-uh, okay?"

"See, you were introduced to an employee today that was given something incredibly important to me." Charlie. "I need someone to make sure she's doing her work. Someone like you, Sid. Can I call you Sid?"

I opened my mouth to reply but he kept barreling on.

"You're replaceable. Someone like you," he continued. Ouch. "Easy to replicate."

"You need to get out of there!" Sam suddenly yelled in the com. I winced but kept my eyes on Dick. "Melinda, he's going to kill you, get out!"

I couldn't just leave, what would I say? 'Oh, I just realized you're a man-eating Leviathan so I kinda have to go. Don't wanna be your dinner and all.' Nope. Then I'd definitely be dead.

"Susan," Roman started towards the woman. "Can you go get Joan?" 'Susan' nodded and walked out of the room. "I could've just given your role to Joan but then she would've been without a new face. She does look rather... ugly after all. But you... your just the perfect body."

"Melinda, it's Dean. Get your ass in gear and get out!"

My chest started to compress. It was like I couldn't breathe. Sweat started to fall from my pores. I couldn't move. Everything that was said after Dean was gibberish. I couldn't comprehend it. I was about to die.

Susan walked back into the room but my now my hearing had become just a high pitch noise. A woman walked behind her. A little fluffy but otherwise she looked good.

Joan grabbed my hand and brought me down to my knees. I gasped in pain while a thousand needles pricked my hand and arm. Her whole form started to shake as it changed. Another Melinda Walters stood in front of me.

It may have been my mind, the truth, or just a glare of the light. But her eyes grew black. A black that only demons would have.

My breath hitched and my heartbeat sped up. The next thing I knew, my doppelganger's knuckles struck my temple, rendering me unconscious.
