Starbucks- New York:
Our four heroes walk back to the table, carrying their drinks, and a few croissants.
Steve: So what did you want to discuss?
Kamala: Well, our school choir is planning on holding a memorial concert at the statue of the fallen. After yesterday... well we can't cancel it. This is too important. But we need to be able to protect the people who want to mourn.
Kamala looks briefly at Michelle, who is looking down.
Kamala: We need your help.
Tony looks amused.
Tony: Well, isn't this an amusing situation... Well, I guess since you guys aren't Avengers... we can't really help you...
Kamala looks disdainful. The other Avengers look disbelieving.
Steve: Tony, you can't-
Kamala: Fine.
Everyone looks at Kamala.
Kamala takes a deep breath.
Kamala: We'll join the Avengers
Carol beams, and Tony looks pleased.
Miles and Sam smile, and Michelle hugs Kamala. Kamala giggles.
Miles: So, will you help us?
Steve: Yes... Tony don't say anything stupid.
Kamala gets a text. She checks it, smiles, and then gets an idea.
Kamala: Anyone mind if I bring a plus one?

Stark Mansion-New York:
The doorbell rings, and Kamala goes to open it.
Kamala: Helloooo
Standing at the door, is a tall man, holding flowers and a leash tied to a giant dog.
Kamala: Lockjaw! Awww, I missed you too!
The dog lets Kamala clamber on his face, and wags his tail with happiness. The man looks unamused.
Robbie Reyes: Kamala.
Kamala: Roberto. How are you?
Roberto: Well, I was in the middle of a nap when you called me, so not that great.
Kamala: You texted me, so I just assumed you were awake.
Roberto: I have a teenage brother who has, like, the biggest crush on you. Why would I text you: "Hey Kams! U in town? Come over, we can hang out! smiley face."
Kamala snorts. Roberto looks annoyed.
Rob: You, Ms. Marvel, are insufferable.
Kamala: Then, why do you hang out with me?
Rob shrugs.
Rob: I find you amusing... and adorable.
Miles clears his throat from the back of the room. He, Sam, Michelle and Carol are staring at Kamala, in a very awkward way.
Miles: You gonna introduce us to your giant dog?
Kamala leads Lockjaw and Rob into the room.
Kamala: Guys, meet Lockjaw, the bestest doggy in the world, yes you are, and Roberto Reyes, the ghost rider, a huge nerd, big loser, blah blah blah. I called him to get my dog.
Roberto chuckles.
Sam: Ghost Rider? What type of nickname is that?
Rob, suddenly serious : It isn't a nickname. I am literally a street racer, who gets possessed by a ghost to fight crime. I am intense. And way too dark to be in this universe
Kamala: Nah, he is a sweetheart, look at this loser, he brought us flowers.
Rob, whispering: Does me being nice to your friends bother you?
Carol: Anyway, welcome, Roberto. Kamala told us you could help us.
Rob: Pssh, please. I ain't no Avenger.
Sam: That was a double negative.
Robbie looks at Sam incredulously.
Sam: Does that mean you are an Avenger?
Rob, chuckling: I like this kid. But, listen. I'm just here to drop off Lockjaw. Crystal and Medusa say Hi. They literally kicked me out of their city, but they said to tell you, they said hi.
Kamala: Well, isn't that sweet?
Rob and Kamala seem to have a conversation without saying anything. The others feel slightly awkward, especially Sam and Miles.
Kamala: Sooo... get out! See ya! Buh bye!
Kamala pushes Rob out the door and slams it behind her.

Kamala punches a hole through the door and knocks him backwards.
Kamala: I said, Bye!
She is going pink. She seems really embarrassed.
Rob looks smug.
Rob, teasingly: You know you wuv me...
Kamala swings at him again, but this time he ducks.
He throws the flowers at her, they hit her in the head.
Rob: See ya Suckers!
Suddenly , Rob's head bursts into flames. A car pulls up in the driveway, he jumps in it, and drives away.
Sam: Well, that was awkward...
Miles: Says you
Michelle: Says everyone.
Sam slumps back on the couch and switches on the TV. He flips across channels. He finds one with a documentary about the Captain America.
Sam: Someday, I'm gonna make an Avengers movie. Or a TV show.
Miles: Please... who would wanna watch that? Or make that?
Kamala, mumbling: I could freak you out so bad right now...
Something crawls through the hole in the door. A person follows it.
Rocket: Where's mah boi?!? Ahhh, Sam! There you are, you little-
Michelle screams.
Miles: Aaaaggh! Talking Racoon!
Kamala swings a punch towards Rocket, but he ducks, and Nebula grabs Kamala's arm, and dashes her to the ground.
Carol: Get your hands off her!
Carol flies towards Nebula intending to fight her, when she is held back by Sam.
Sam: Stand down guys... They're cool.
Kamala and Nebula continue to fight. Nebula, once again, hits her in the head and Kamala falls to the ground, unconscious.
Nebula: Who was that? She seemed evil.
Sam: Well... close enough. She's my... friend.
Rocket: We may have made a terrible mistake.
Miles: Kamala?
Miles is cradling her in his arms. She shows no sign of injury.
Sam: Please don't tell me you killed her...
Nebula: No... it was a stunning technique. She needs water, and an iced towel on her head. She'll be back in an hour.
Tony and Natasha enter the room.
Tony: Nebula! What brings you here?
Carol: You know this lady?
Tony: Yeah, she helped me get back on earth. We fought Thanos together.
Carol: She tried to kill Kamala.
Natasha:....Tony, we need to refine your taste in friends....

The guest room- Stark Mansion:
Miles, Sam and Michelle are sitting beside Kamala, who is now awake, and looking extremely confused.
Kamala: Wait, so the helmet... was your dad's?
Sam: Uh huh
Kamala: I thought he disappeared?
Sam: Uh huh
Kamala: And space racoon and blue girl found it, so they gave it to you.
Sam: Yup
Kamala: Who in their right mind, would give something so cool to you?
Sam: I know right?
Kamala: All that aside, blue girl is fierce. I should ask her for fighting tips...
Miles: Anyone up for a bagel?
Michelle: Ugh, yes. I hate this place, i need some fresh air...
Kamala: Same here.
Sam: Yeah, let's get out of here.
Kamala walks out of the room, Sam and Miles start to follow her. Michelle holds them back.
Michelle: You two, stop being so obvious.
Sam: About what?
Michelle looks disdainfully at them.
Michelle: C'mon... it's obvious you guys like her. You guys acted so awkward when she was with Robbie.
Miles: What's your point?
Michelle: Number 1- Don't be rude to Robbie. Try being friends with him beca-
Sam: Because a girl is no reason to pull us apart, we get it. It's a cliche.
Michelle: Well, I was going to say keep your enemies close, because Kamala is cool enough to fight over, but that works too, I guess.
Miles and Sam roll their eyes.
Michelle: Second, if you want to get the girl, be yourselves, say something funny, impress her. Don't be a bro. You are friendzoning yourselves.
Kamala enters the room.
Kamala: Who is friend zoning whom?
Sam and Miles, nervously: No one! Nothing!
Kamala: So, are we gonna leave now?
Sam: Sure.
