Rita's pov
I wake up sore remembering what happened yesterday I lay in my bed jumping out as quick as I can because I have school i look for my jumper and a white crop top I put that on then I put on some converse then I make my hair curly and I put no make up on and I walk downstairs to see Leslie waiting for me
"Come on Rita we are going to be late" Leslie says excited for her first day
It is my first day being a sophomore Leslie gets an apple to eat and I get nothing we both grab our bags then we head to the bus stop
"Why didn't you get food Rita" she ask
"I'm not hungry" I say bluntly
Before she could says anything I get a text

Me: Hi
Kehlani: what are you doing
Me : waiting at the bus stop
Kehlani : oh what school do you go to
Me : Mancity high
Kehlani : have a nice day at school
Then she sends a picture I smile at the picture
"Why are you smiling" Leslie ask noisily
"I'm not shut up Leslie" I say
She laughs
"You have a crush" she says
"Who is he" she ask
She doesn't know I'm a lesbian

She just stares at my with a blank face

The bus finally comes I step inside the bus and I start texting Kehlani

I cover my ears then I scream everyone on the bus looks at me the bus stops the bus driver comes to the back where I'm at
"Why are you screaming" she asks

"I'm fine" I say softly
The lady nods then goes back to driving
