I walked down the drive. As if I was going to meet someone. I walked to the top of the road and made sure no one was looking at me. Then I picked up my pace. When I got about a 10 minute walk away from Maddie's house I saw Darcy
"Charlie? Where are you going?" She asked
"I'm off to Maddie's" I said. Darcy's eyes widened
"Um. I wouldn't. But if you really want to" she replied. I nodded at her and kept walking.
As I approached Maddie's house she was sat on the sofa watching T.V in her sloth onesie I bought her. Aw. Sloths. I knocked on the door. I saw her dragging her feet to the door. When she opened it she looked shocked to see my standing there
"Nice onesie" I said
"Yeah. A knobhead bought me out" she replied sitting back down in the living room
"That knobhead has feelings. And his feelings are hurt" I said sitting next to her.
"Your feelings are hurt!? Your feelings are- oh my god that's rich" she said starting to cry. "Charlie you Id-" she started to continue. I wasn't here for a lecture from her. I was here to make up with her. Before she could continue insulting me I kissed her.
"Feel better?" I asked her pulling away. She looked at me then walked upstairs. I wasn't sure if that worked or not
