Sometimes I think I'm the stupidest person alive. I should have fought for her. But then again, I know more now then I did then. I wish I could've known just a part of what happens down the line. Then things would be different. I'd still have my best friend.
Alexis fell more and more every day. I could see it. I've known her for years. And read her like a book. I just miss things. They talked more, and even started hanging out. I was left.
But she still texted and called. We'd talk about friends and school. It's the only time I feel like nothing has changed. As long as we didn't bring up Dominick, we could talk for hours. And most nights we did.
At school, she talks to my friends. Mostly Shane. Shane had a crush on her for awhile too. But he got over it, lucky him. They laugh and joke. Her friends talk with us too. But when that lunch ends, she goes back to him.
I wish she'd stay, and hang out with us. But I get it. She wants to spend all her time with him. It's the same as me. I wanna spend all my time with her. But that doesn't happen.
