 Author POV

Yuna had never thought that her home trip would be ruined this way – Meeting Jeon Jungkook. Her entire plan was ruined ever since she met Jungkook in Ilsan. Now, he would be visiting their eatery every night, sitting at a corner seat for hours. Sometimes, he would bring his laptop along to do some work. Sometimes, he just spaced out after having his dinner. Since Yuna's mother welcomed Jungkook, Yuna doesn't have a say in shooing him out. She just had to endure this situation.

"Yuna, is that guy interested in you? Why is he here every day?" Yuna's mom nudged her daughter while wiping the utensils dry. "I am the last person he would be interested in. I told you, we are enemies." The poor girl groaned.

"You know, enemies do end up together." Her mom continued, flapping her eye lashes at her daughter who was showing a face of disgust. "Umma, you should cut down on your dramas. It's affecting you too much." Yuna snarled and walked away, leaving her mom frowning.

Yuna POV

"Let's go. I am locking up." I dragged my heavy legs towards the main door, waiting for that man to exit. It became like a daily routine. It's the fourth day and he has been here the last two days, staying till I close store.

"Tour my around, I don't know where I should go." He requested behind me while I bent down to lock the gates. "You should go back to your hotel." I replied deadly, feeling the exhaustion all over my body.

"You are so heartless. I don't come to Ilsan often." He complaint, ignoring my worn-out expression. "I don't come back home frequent too, if you have just a little bit of observation skills." I snapped with an irritated tone.

I have been in Seoul for my studies and work. I seldom come back to Ilsan since I don't really want to be irresponsible and leave my kids. I didn't expect myself to talk to him like this, but maybe because I am really tired after long hours of working. I don't know how did umma and appa survive over the years.

"I'm sorry." He apologised, hugging his laptop bag. Am I hearing it right? Jeon Jungkook apologizing to me? What, does our food in the eatery have some power or something? He has been polite and less annoying these two days.

I turned my head to look at him, but he was looking down at the ground, kicking pebbles while we walk. A gush of regret flushed through me seeing him like this. "H-Hey, I didn't mean it. I just mean that I really don't know much places since Ilsan has changed a lot." I explained myself, hoping that he wouldn't be offended.

"It's okay, I am not angry or anything you are thinking. I understand how it feels like to work hard alone without anyone around you." He answered as if he could read my mind. His reply stuck me. Thinking back, I have not seen or heard him talk about his parents, not even a bit. Taking a peek at him, I saw a slight disappointment on his face which made me feel softened.

Without us knowing, we arrived at my house. Even though he is a bastard, I have to admit that he is a gentleman. For the past two days, he sent me back home, making sure that I arrived safely before leaving.

"You must be tired, I will get going first." Today, he is so different. His tone, his actions, his expressions. No cocky and smugly Jeon Jungkook. It is really unusual for me, but I would say, I prefer this side of him, I mean who wouldn't.

Staring at his back as he walked away, I could feel a sense of loneliness emitting around him. Not that over-confident and boastful Jungkook that I know. Maybe he isn't such a bastard. Everyone has their stories, maybe I should understand before judging him.

But that doesn't mean I have forgotten what he did to me...

Author POV

"Umma, is it okay if I take a break from the store today?" Bright in the morning, Yuna who woke up early was preparing breakfast while her sister, mom and dad gathered at the dining table waiting. "Sure, it should be a holiday for you as well." Yuna's father replied before her mom did.

"What are you doing then? Perhaps, meeting your handsome friend?" Curious at her daughter's sudden request, Yuna's mother asked with a brow up.

"I didn't know you were like this, umma." Yuna laughed at the busybody, putting breakfast in front of them. "What handsome friend? Unnie has a boyfriend?" Her sister joined in, blinking her glittering eyes, waiting for a reply. "No sweetheart. It's a friend, not boyfriend. There is a difference alright." Yuna explained, urging her sister to quickly eat.

"It will soon become a boyfriend." Yuna's mother inserted a comment 'casually' munching on her pancakes, smiling at her husband. "It's not a bad thing to date, Yuna ah." Great, now even her dad wants to add in. Too lazy to debate, Yuna just nodded with a you-guys-should-stop-already smile.

Searching through my contacts to send him a text.

"Didn't you tell me to roam you around? I can do it today." Locking my phone after sending, I finished up my dinner.

"I have meeting till 12 p.m. I meet you at your restaurant at 1p.m. then." Woah, he is fast. I thought me myself, knowing that he must have schedules in Ilsan. "Sure."

Author POV

As promised, they both arrived outside Yuna's eatery at 1p.m. but Jungkook was slightly late. "Sorry, I was caught up with something else." He apologised, running towards Yuna. Lately, Jungkook has been apologising a bit too much without him knowing. "It's okay, I know you are busy." Yuna nodded.

"Woah, I thought you would rage at me." Amused, Jungkook shrugged, tugging his hands into his pockets. He did not change out from his suit, his tie still neatly tied with his hair combed up, looking just like a royal prince. "Why would I? It's not your fault. I am not an unreasonable person alright." Yuna snarled, holding onto her sling bag strap.

"By the way, why did you suddenly agree to bring me around? Didn't you reject me yesterday? Wae? Perhaps you missed me already?" The man lowered his head to reach the girl's eye level, his hands not leaving his pockets as he gave a sly smug. Oh gosh, must he always ruin that one second of kindness from him?

"Continue living in your own world. I was just being nice." Yuna rolled her eyes, pushing him further away. "Come on, don't have to be shy." He laughed, looking at the interesting reaction from her. "Stop it." Yuna snapped.

Yuna POV

It has been such a long time since I have been here – Aqua Planet. I came once when I was very young but now it's different. The improvement in technology made the whole place more interesting. It's not only a new experience for Jungkook, but for me as well.

"Woah!" My eyes blinked, seeing the sea animals swimming past us. Walking down a tunnel, you can see jellyfishes all around you, roaming in the water. It is dark; therefore, the luminous lights beautified the whole area. Awed by the presentation of the museum, I was excited to go to each corner. "It's beautiful." I commented, placing my hands on the glass panels, hoping that the sea creatures can be attracted to me. "It's amazing to see them being able to swim around so freely." Jungkook who remained silent all these while, spoke up, smiling.

Being so up close to him, this is the first time I actually realise he has faint dimples whenever he smiles. This smile is different from his overweening ones. It's a genuine and innocent, as if he is mesmerising his younger days. Seeing this side of him, I beamed to myself, focusing back on the exhibition.

After which, we went to the strawberry farm which allows us to eat those plucked. We both turned into elementary school kids instantly when we stepped in, seeing all the rosy red strawberries hanging beside the walking lanes. "Omo, this one is really sweet!" I shouted at him, waving in my hands.

"I want a bite!" he ran towards me but who says I am going to let him? who ask him to bully me all the time! Seeing him approaching me, I dashed off to another lane, letting him chase me from behind. "Come back, Choi Yuna!"

Jungkook POV

This girl! I ruffled my hair, putting down my basket on the floor before dashing towards her. "Come here!" I yelled. Luckily there was no one around since it was not holidays, not many tourists or locals were here.

How can she win over me? Taking a bigger step forward, I managed to hold onto her wrist, pulling her back as she tumbled into my arms. "Be careful!" I shouted as she let out a short scream. Wrapping my arms around her body, I could still maintain my balance, preventing us from falling.

We were so close to each other; our faces were millimetres away. Our breath could be felt on one another's faces as we blinked in shock. "Are you okay?" I asked, helping her to stand on her feet.

"Y-Yeah, of course." She adjusted her shirt, coughing awkwardly. We could feel a gush of embarrassing heat between us. "Yah, who told you to run?" I decided to break it, complaining about her childish actions earlier. "Then who told you to chase after me for my strawberry!" She scoffed back, brushing her bangs. "You-"

Can't be bothered to fight with her, I snatched her half-eaten strawberry while she wasn't paying attention, gobbling it down. "Yah you!" she held onto the strawberry leaf tightly, watching me munch on her sweet strawberry. "That's for running away from me. And who allowed you to use 'yah'?! pay respect!" I replied, sticking my tongue out at her before going back to my basket.

Author POV

After all the playing, it was turning into night time fast. "Where should we go now?" Jungkook asked, feeling a bit tired. "Let's buy dinner and go to the lake park. It's beautiful there at night." Yuna suggested, pulling the man with her to the street stores along the roadside.

Arriving at the lake park, they found an empty space available before settling down. The weather is stepping into autumn, feeling cool breezes and winds sweeping past the people's faces. "The fish cake soup is so good." They exclaimed, feeling the warm soup roving in their cold bodies.

"Isn't it pretty here?" Yuna asked, looking around. Whenever it turns dark, the lightings hung on the trees will lit up, reflecting the amazing scenery into the lake water. This place is always peaceful at night, since people usually would like to be here in the day time to take more aesthetic photographs. No doubt, in the day, the reflection of the sunrays is stunning to see. However, at night, it's a different image which people often miss out.

Looking up, stars are starting to form on the starry black sky, adding a more soothing atmosphere. "It is." Jungkook nodded, putting down his chopsticks to admire the beauty of the nature despite the darkness. "It's so peaceful here. The life that I dream to have..." he mumbled but loud enough for Yuna to hear.

"You might not want to answer, but where are your parents?" Yuna gathered the courage to ask him. "It's a long story," he mockingly laughed a bit. "To cut it short, they decided to stay in America for their business while they urged me to come back to take over the company despite me wanting to strive for my dream." Jungkook explained calmly, picking up his chopsticks again to eat.

"Aren't they going to come back?" It opened up Yuna's curiosity. "It doesn't really matter if they do. The moment they decided to throw me back into Korea alone, I know they didn't want me to be with them." He sighed, "Why am I even telling you so much?" Stuffing more tteokbokki into his mouth, he shook his head and turned to face the lake.

"Although we both know that I hate you, I have to say that you are doing a good job in bringing the company forward." Yuna assured, turning her head to the side to smile at that man. "Do I have to thank you knowing that you hate me?" He laughed, drinking a sip of americano.

"If you have basic courtesy, you should. Oh, I remember you not having." Yuna joked. "You definitely hate me, eh? Every sentence from you is just being savage." The male wasn't offended at all, maybe this is just the way they interact. A unique way.

"Throwing back your sentence at you, even though we both know that I hate you too, I have to thank you for today." Jungkook looked back at the girl with a charming smile. "It's like a break from my hectic workload." He sincerely said.

"You're welcome. You should be thankful to have such a professional tour guide for free." Yuna chuckled with Jungkook after hearing her reply. "Says the one who was more excited than me, running off on her own, leaving me behind." He complaint with an impish smile.

"Don't say as if you didn't have fun." Yuna challenged, lifting her chin. "Let's go. It's getting late. I will send you back." Jungkook offered but Yuna refused. "Can't we sit here a while more? It's hard to have moments like this."

"Oh, moments like this to be with me? Aww, I didn't know you miss me so much that one whole day being together is not enough." The man teased, sitting back down, earning a slap on his arm.

"Argh, Jeon Jungkook! Don't be too full of yourself!" Uh oh, there it goes again. She called his full name...

"I heard that... Choi Yuna."
