__________

The next morning Yoongi woke up to the sun filtering through the curtains, and an empty bed. He groaned, wiping the sleep from his eyes, "Seok-ah?" But he was met with silence as confusion wrote itself in his brows. There was a nervous feeling that began to tug at his heart as he got out of bed, checking everywhere in the small apartment before ending up in the kitchen, alone.

At this point the worst fears he had fought so bravely to keep at bay washed over him like a broken damn until-

The door opened, and a brown eyed boy came smiling into view, but then surprised, "Yoongi-ah? Are you alright-what's wrong?"

The elder sighed in relief, giving the younger a playful shove, "Seok-ah you nearly scared me to death there, where'd you go?"

Hoseok placed the cup of coffee in his hand in the olders, moving forward to kiss Yoongi's cheek, "Did my moon prince miss me?"

Yoongi giggled quietly, letting Hoseok's warmth wrap around him like a blanket, "Maybe just a little," he whispered just before meeting their lips in a good morning kiss, "Or maybe, a little bit more than that."

The boy smiled, watching as Hoseok's smile overfilled with giggles before rubbing their noses together, "Glad I'm not the only one."

Hoseok backed away a bit, allowing Yoongi room to sip his coffee as he moved them to the table just outside the kitchen, Yoongi pressed, "But Seok-ah, you didn't have to go out to get me coffee, we could have just made some here?"

The younger smiled, "I had to run a few errands, I stopped by Jin's café to make sure they were okay. Jin said everyone was able to make it out in time because of the fire alarm, him and Namjoon are safe."

Yoongi smiled, "Good. That won't happen again."

Hoseok nodded, "Right, and speaking of that, we don't have a clue or any lead on Seungmins next move...I think it's time to get the police involved in this."

The older looked at him quizzically, "Remind me again why we didn't just ask for their help in the first place?"

"Because before we had clues, I thought we could handle this before anyone got hurt, and if the police catch him before we do who knows what will happen to him. But it was too close of a call last night, we can't risk more people getting hurt."

Yoongi's eyes grew wide, "You're seriously thinking about what they'd do to him? What would the police do that we won't?!"

Hoseok sighed, "We'd talk to him. He'd have to go to court and serve time, but we'd at least let Jeongin see him before he had to go."

The older felt conflicted, taking time to sip his coffee before speaking, "Well then, maybe going to the police isn't the best option."

"No. I don't have any sympathy for him after last night. He dug his own grave by putting you in danger like that, I just wanted to get you're okay before I go to the police." Hoseok spoke, tense.

Yoongi could feel his brows furrowed together, he wanted more than anything for Sungmin's threat to be solved, and for them to live in peace again. But on the other hand, Seungmin was also a human, and Jeongin still saw the good in him. There was hope for him, still, "Maybe we should wait, think it over a bit yeah?"

Hoseok nodded, "Okay, I'm set in my decision," He reached over to rest a hand atop of Yoongi's, "But I'll wait for yours."

Yoongi smiled, "What else did you do? I'm sure you didn't just go say hi to Seokjin this morning?"

The younger smirked, bringing a finger up to his lips, "It's a secret!"

_

It didn't take long really for Holly to jump up on the couch they shared, wiggling right in-between them, demanding a walk, which, of course, the two couldn't refuse. But it was later in the day, and cooler, so Hoseok had slipped on a large trench coat as the two indulged the little animals barks, hurriedly walking out of the apartment, making their way to the park.

It was quieter when the sun was setting and the lamps flickered on, calmer with the lack of people surrounding them, and warmer, with Hoseoks hand laced in his own, a smile effortlessly dusting his cheeks. Looking over Yoongi found that the younger was already looking towards him, smile big, soft, "Hey."

Yoongi couldn't help but to giggle, "Hi." Scrunching up his nose as Hoseok moved to give him the lightest of eskimo kisses.

"You want to know something?" Hoseok asked, his voice softer, more Hoseok, in the night filled park.

"I don't know, depends what it is." Yoongi smirked, then smiled as Hoseok laughed.

"We'll I'm going to tell you anyway, I think you're cute." Hoseok gave his hand a squeeze, "But I can elaborate on this thought if you'd like."

Yoongi smiled, laughed into Hoseok's side, "Well go on then!"

Hoseok laughed right along with him before calming down, and looking towards Yoongi, "Well, for starters, the way you like your coffee. Black but with an ungodly amount of sugar."

The older blushed, the smile in his heart reaching his eyes, "You know why I do that right? Because I'm 'sweet like sugar'"

Hoseok giggled, "Hey are you mocking me?"

"Aren't you the only one who says that?" Yoongi giggled right along.

The younger moved their joined hands up to his lips, a small kiss and laughter spilling onto Yoongi's knuckles, "Yes and I mean it."

A moment past filled with their joy filled giggles until Yoongi started again, he could feel his eyes fill with his smile as he looked towards Hoseok, "Is that it then?"

"Not even close," Hoseok beamed, "That little nod you do after you say something, it's adorable. Your passion for photography, I haven't seen anyone as dedicated, who literally sees the world through a cameras lens the way that you do. Oh god and that little pout you do with your lips, it does things to me Yoongi-ah you have to be careful." He sighed, fondly, "And the way you care about your friends, how you look at them like they mean the world to you."

Yoongi was watching Hoseok as the boy seemed lost in Yoongi, his eyes alive with life and so much love looking towards nothing, but Yoongi. And Yoongi's heart filled, all the way and overflowed sending water pooling in his eyes. Because this moment, just looking towards Hoseok like this under the dim lamp light, was so small, was so little and pure in the course of their lives, in their situation, but to Yoongi, this, this was everything.

Hoseok stopped walking then, turning to fully face Yoongi and the older had to remind himself to breath because Hoseok was perfect, in everything, as the younger spoke in a whisper, "I could go on for days, and this might seem cheesy, but it's true. The cutest thing about you, is you Min Yoongi. It's just, you."

The older was speechless, breathless, he didn't know how to convey the things that his heart screamed. How to tell the younger, how to show Hoseok that his heart beat for him. And only him, and it always would. Yoongi felt a tear fall down his cheek as Hoseok engulfed him in a hug. An arm around Yoongi's middle and the other cradling his head closer to the younger.

Yoongi melted into him, hands rested on Hoseok's hips, before quickly nestling his nose in the youngers shoulder, and sliding his hands under the boys coat, holding his middle and bringing them closer. They stayed like that for a moment, an eternity, a lifetime and it was good, it was right, right where they belonged.

It wasn't until Yoongi felt Hoseok's hands thread in his hair, gently pulling his head back, tilting ever so slightly upwards that their lips met. And Yoongi moved against Hoseok just as passionately, his heart on his lips as he tasted the youngers sweetness, his honey sent flowing over Yoongi, consuming him. Like the first breath of fresh air after submerging from the oceans depths. Hoseok had Yoongi's bottom lip, using his teeth to bite down just enough, and offering a tug that sent a small whimper tumbling past Yoongi's lips and into the kiss.

Hoseok eased his teeth, gently sucking on Yoongi's lip instead as the older sighed into their lips before Hoseok pulled away, his breath warm against Yoongi's cheek, "That's...really cute too." Before pressing a kind kiss to the corner of Yoongi's lips, and nuzzling his nose into the olders shoulder.

Yoongi was smiling, he could feel it, but he didn't care, all that mattered to him was what was in his arms right now. And there would never be enough words to describe it, to describe Hoseok. So he settled for this, for holding him and hoping Yoongi's heart would reach Hoseok, even though he knew it always did, it always would. His hands still under Hoseok's large coat as he slid them up the fabric of the boys shirt, feeling the youngers skin as he drew gentle circles with his thumb onto the boys back, melting into the embrace that was them.

Hoseok giggled, and it was like music, a melody of life to Yoongi's ears, "You know Holly just went in circles around us, right? We're stuck baby." And just then, the older felt the restraints of the dog's leash twirled around their legs, keeping them together, as he giggled in harmony, "Seok-ah, there's no one else on this earth I'd rather be stuck with."

The older felt Hoseok's figure sigh into his own, hear the smile in his voice, "Yeah, me too."

_

"I'm glad to hear you two are alright." Yoongi spoke across from Namjoon and Seokjin, the restaurant had just closed when Hoseok had waltzed the two of them into Seokjin's café, allowing them the quietness of the place.

"Same here, we were worried sick we thought something might have happened to you two!" Seokjin spoke, from behind the counter, helping Namjoon to clean the coffee machines.

"Sorry to disappoint." Yoongi smirked before getting an elbow to the rib which only released a fit of giggles.

Hoseok's own smirk on his cheeks, "Well, everyone is safe. That's the most important thing."

Namjoon spoke from beside Seokjin, "Do you guys know what happened by the way? I heard that there was a bomb but nobody knows who set it off?"

"The police said they're on the case, but they don't have any leads." Seokjin chimed in.

Yoongi looked over to Hoseok with conflicted eyes that the younger mirrored before speaking, "Yeah, if we find out," Before moving his gaze back to their friends, "We'll tell you."

Seokjin looked towards them with a knowing, and concerned smile before Namjoons smile grew wide, "Hey, our new café is opening in three days, you two are going to be there right?"

Yoongi smiled, "Wouldn't miss it."

The oldest wiped his hands on his apron before leaning his arms on the counter, "Good, we've been working too hard for you two not to come."

"What's the name?" Hoseok asked with an endearing heart shaped smile.

"Love Yourself Café." Seokjin spoke before Namjoon chimed in, "You know, so our motto goes, Love yo self, treat yo self!" which earned him a playful push and a lively laughter from Seokjin, "That is not our logo Joonie oh my gosh." Before his laughter died down, looking towards Hoseok and Yoongi who had the biggest of smiles, "The logo is actually, With the perfect coffee cup, wouldn't be surprised, if you blow up. I can't take complete credit for it though, it was actually our new barista who came up with it, he's been a big help lately."

Yoongi looked towards Hoseok who apparently was thinking the same thing as him, because before the older could even speak Hoseok started, "This new barista whose been helping you, when exactly did you hire him?"

Seokjin seemed confused, Namjoon answered, "About two weeks ago, why?"

"He-"

"Sounds like a really helpful guy. We're glad you have him, how many workers do you have so far?" Yoongi cut Hoseok off.

Namjoon and Seokjin exchanged confused glances before looking back towards the two, Seokjin speaking in a voice like a mother knowing her children are up to no good, "Just him for now, once we start getting business we'll hire on more, is there something wrong with that?'

"No, everything's fine." Yoongi spoke, practically feeling the tenseness that consumed the younger next to him, "Namjoon give me your key I want to show Seok-ah the rooftop pool."

Namjoon spoke as he reached in his pocket, "You know, why does it always have to be my key why can't you ever ask for Jin's key or maybe a please would be nice?"

Yoongi smirked, grabbing the key from Namjoon's hand, "To make up for all those times you lost the keys to your own apartment and had to sleep on my couch."

The four of them laughed, and it was a good sound, Namjoon waving them off, "Fair enough." Before Yoongi led Hoseok to the back of the café, turning the key to allow the elevator doors to open. As soon as the doors closed and they began to move up, Hoseok's voice came tense, "Yoongi-ah that has to be him. We have the upper hand in this if Namjoon and Seokjin can just give us some information-"

"And put themselves in danger?" Yoongi asked, sighing as he looked over to Hoseok's tired expression, "The less they know the better, and the less involved they are, the safer they are. We know the next clue, and we know exactly where he's going to be. We can stop him before he can even think about doing anything, okay?"

Hoseok moved to thread his fingers through Yoongi's bangs, an understanding look in his eyes as he nodded his head, "Okay." Then he smiled, "He fell right into our trap didn't he, how could he have known that Namjoon and Seokjin are our city family!"

Yoongi laughed, "Seok-ah, I'm pretty sure you need to set up a trap before someone falls into it."

"Shhhh" Hoseok pressed a finger to Yoongi's lips, only resulting in more laughter, "It's all going according to plan."

In the middle of their giggles, the doors opened, revealing a large pool illuminated by blue lights under the water, taking up almost all of the roof, and lights that traveled along the roofs edges. Yoongi looked over to find Hoseok's eyes wide in amazement, the same way they lit up with anything knew, and Yoongi fell a little more into Hoseok's rose colored world, every time.

"It's beautiful..." Hoseok trailed off, walking out of the elevator and onto the rooftop, they were high up, but the darkened night sky didn't make it seem as high, "But there's nobody else here?"

Yoongi smiled, "This pool is just for the people who live here, so it's not always busy." Then he looked towards Hoseok with a smirk, suggestive, "Want to go for a swim, bubble king?"

Hoseok laughed, melting Yoongi's heart and if he could just hear that all day, it would be a good day. The younger was already busy slipping off his shirt, "You're wish is my command," taking a moment to press a lingering kiss on the olders lips, "Moon prince." Before slipping off his jeans and jumping into the blue with just his boxers.

The older couldn't help but to giggle immensely, happy, and excited as he slipped off his own clothing, and canon balling in right after the younger. When he came up for air, Yoongi was expecting to see Hoseok right there laughing along with him.

But instead he was met by two arms encircling his waist from behind, lifting him up while spinning before the two of them splashed back into the water, their laughter as loud as ever. "Seok-ah!" Yoongi giggled, splashing water onto the boy who only laughed harder.

When their laughter dyed down, Yoongi noticed Hoseok looking at him, with a fond kind of wonder, "What is it Seok-ah?"

"You know you're a thief right?" Hoseok smiled.

Yoongi giggled again, "Why? Cus I stole your heart?"

Hoseok shook his head sending a splash Yoongi's way, laughing, "Hey now!" But then he pointed up, "Yoongi-ah look"

The older did as he was told, looking up towards the darkened sky, the moon bright but void of hardly any of its stars. He knit his brows in confusion, "Seok-ah there's no stars, why-"

"Exactly." Hoseok spoke, stepping closer to Yoongi, bumping their foreheads together, "Because they're all in your eyes."

Yoongi's eyes grew wide and he felt the blush spread across his cheeks, he opened his mouth to speak but was stopped by Hoseok's wide smile, "And you know what we do with thief's?" Before Yoongi could do or say anything Hoseok had him in his arms, and both of them under water in seconds.

The older came up out of the water alive with laughter, "Seok-ah why are you such a sap!"

Hoseok smiled triumphantly, floating on his back, "Only to you~" Which resulted in Yoongi practically laying on his stomach and sending them both back into the water again. Coming up laughing and splashing, kissing and smiling, and Yoongi knew that no matter what was thrown their way, nothing could take away this. As long as he had Hoseok, there would always be room to smile, always a reason to. Always.

_

It was late the night before Jin and Namjoons grand opening when they found themselves in each other's arms, Yoongi lazily running his hand through Hoseok's brown hair. He could feel the younger drifting to sleep, himself included, but his voice spoke before sleep did, "Seok-ah, we have to stay together tomorrow, we can't leave each other's side, no matter what." He sighed, "I don't care if the whole world is at stake, you're my whole world."

Yoongi watched in fondness how the youngers lips turned up in a soft smile, "No matter what." Before leaning into his touch, "You're such a sap Yoongi-ah~"

The older rolled his eyes, smiling as he softly pitched the youngers cheek, "You're something else you know that?"

Hoseok hummed into Yoongi's shoulder, the vibration filling the olders chest with a softness as he asked, "Hey, the other day when I asked why you went out you said it was a secret, when am I allowed to know what you were doing?"

The younger mumbled softly, "When this is all over. When we have our own place, out in the country, when I can pay back my mother and sister, when you can open your own gallery, then. That's when you'll find out."

Yoongi smiled, whispering, "When I give you back your dog tags."

"When you give me back my dog tags." Hoseok echoed, moving closer to Yoongi and the older could feel the youngers heart shaped smile against his chest. Something that never, never got old.

Yoongi pressed a gentle kiss to Hoseok's head, humming before sleeps call became too strong, "We'll make it there soon baby, tomorrow is the last trial, before we can look towards hope."

_

"Hey you guys made it!" Namjoon exclaimed excitedly from the front of the cafes doors, Yoongi and Hoseok wearing proud smiles as Seokjin bombarded them with an engulfing hug, "Glad you two could make it," He pulled back, "We're going to say a few words out here for the sponsors and then cut the red ribbon, we'll start here in a few-"

"Can we take a peek inside? Before the ceremony starts?" Yoongi asked eagerly, Hoseok with confusion right behind, "Wait, where's the red ribbon?"

Seokjin's eyes grew wide, turning to Namjoon, "Tell me you didn't lose the ribbon?!"

The boys eyes swam with fear as he held up both of his hands, "Wait, no, don't freak out Jinnie it's okay I have it, I know it's somewhere let me check the car I think I left it there, it has to be there!"

The elder sighed, "Hurry Joon we're about to start, and Yoongi-ah, Hobi-ah, you two can go in and look around if you want, just make sure to be back before it starts."

The three boys nodded, hurrying in their opposite directions. Yoongi and Hoseok slipping through the doors into the building, their eyes lighting up immediately at the cute, European style café, "They really outdid themselves with this Yoongi-ah.." Hoseok spoke in awe, Yoongi following with a smile, "Yeah, they really did. They're hard work is going to pay off."

But movement in the kitchen brought them out of their trance, and before Yoongi could even realize it Hoseok had his gun out and ready, running straight for the sound. Swinging open the kitchen doors, Yoongi close behind Hoseok, finding Seungmin, crouched down by the ventilation vents with a large blue container.

Hoseok's gun was aimed as he shouted, "Put your hands up. Seungmin. Now."

The boy's hands lifted into the air, but his smile, took on an evil smirk when the realization dawned on Yoongi, looking down towards the blue gas container, "What the hell is that...Seungmin what are you doing?!"

"I see you two have found me yet again! It's simple really," There was a dark drip to his tone, "A couple containers of pure methane is pretty easy to obtain when you've got a lieutenant rank."

Hoseok's eyes narrowed, taking a step closer to the boy, "What are you doing."

Seungmin looked as if he was about to laugh, "You really don't get it, do you? I just sent a shit ton of methane into the ventilation system. All we need is a spark and," He motioned with his hands, "Boom."

"Yeah well not today, put your hands behind your back and we'll take care of this." Hoseok spoke in a stern voice.

But Seungmin was quicker, taking the blue container nobody had realized was hidden behind his back, and flinging it towards Hoseok before sprinting out of the kitchen.

"Seok-ah!" Yoongi couldn't help but scream, Hoseok dogged it easily, giving Yoongi a reassuring nod before chasing after the boy, Yoongi right behind him.

They were too late, however, because when they'd finally caught up, he'd made his way into the elevator, closing the doors with a sickening wave, "Looks like you two will be taking the stairway to heaven!" Before the doors shut completely, Hoseok practically running into the metal doors with a force.

"Stairs!" Yoongi yelled, searching before Hoseok's hand grabbed his own, leading them to the stairs and racing up, "Seok-ah we don't know what floor he's going too!"

"Exactly, we'll check all of them." Hoseok yelled back, "You check that one, I'll check the next, go!" The boy motioned for the first floor before running up the second flight of stairs, Yoongi quickly opened the door, finding an empty floor before running up to find Hoseok's same response. They kept going like that, until finally on the seventh floor-

"Seok-ah! Here!" Yoongi yelled while sprinting towards the boy who was running through the hall, Hoseok was by Yoongi's side in a flash as they chased Seungmin who disappeared behind two black doors. Of course, Hoseok kicked open the doors, gun still raised as they entered what looked to be a small bar area. It was dark, and there was a balcony, but above all else, it was seemingly completely void of all life in the early morning air.

Hoseok took a few tentative steps, "Yoongi stay close behind me."

"Rodger."

"See, you do take orders from me." Hoseok whispered, and Yoongi could almost hear the small smile on the boys cheeks as he replied, "Now's really not the time Seok-"

And it happened fast, too fast, unfamiliar hands wrapping around Yoongi and a gun, cold and hard pressed to the side of his head. Yoongi could only watch as Hoseok turned around, his gun falling limp to his side as his eyes widened with horror, "N-no, no don't touch him" The shock resting in the youngers eyes, the terror residing on his lips, "What do you want...anything, name it and it's yours just don't touch him!"

Yoongi's heart dropped, he was terrified, and his blood stilled as Seungmins voice came pleased from beside him, "Now you're talking. Who knew all I had to do was take your little friend-"

"Gajang salanghaneun salam." Hoseok cut him off in Korean with a sneer, slicing through the air.

And Yoongi knew, it was Korean meaning, most beloved.

"Whatever. I want this nation eradicated along with every other country who willingly sends their own to be killed. There's no place for people like you in that world." Seungmin spat back.

Hoseok furrowed his brows, "Seungmin. That's an unattainable utopia. Life isn't black and white like that, I wish it was, but it's not. Please, let him go and we can talk about this."

"I'm done with talking. It's either him." Seungmin spoke, clicking the safety off of the gun that only set a deadly shiver running through Yoongi's spine, "Or everyone else. I release him back to you, but the moment that ribbon is cut and all those people flood into the café, all I need is one hand to light the switch, and let the fireworks fly." A dark smirk, "Obliterated, this whole building."

Yoongi's heart shattered seeing Hoseok's desperate eyes, "Please...please just let him go..."

But Seungmin started to step back, and onto the outdoor patio, "You want me to let him go?" He spoke, stepping onto the patios thin railing, the harsh wind threatening his balance as Yoongi struggled in his grasp, "I don't mind letting go."

"Don't fuck with me Seungmin if you don't let him go I will not hesitate to send the whole U.S. military on your ass and you won't have a second breath before your seeing your own blood, let, him, go." Hoseok's voice was harsh, but there was desperation, Yoongi wanted to cry out, the younger was never very good at keeping his heart in his chest. And Yoongi wanted nothing more than to go back to the park, to the pool, to the garden, to their bed in his small apartment. Anywhere, anything, but this.

Seungmins laugh was wicked in the air, but Hoseok was swift, all in one movement, one moment, he brought up his own gun, pulling the trigger and shooting Seungmins hand that held the gun, before falling, Seungmin towards the patio. His hand that gripped Yoongi now loose, as the boy wasted no time in escaping but in the process the wind was too much and Yoongi felt himself fall, from seven stories up.

Hoseok launched forward, grabbing Yoongi's hand, smiling with so much relief and love Yoongi felt his heart pick up its beat again, felt the blood in his veins flowing, because even dangling off the side of a building, it was Hoseok. And He knew, Hoseok would never let go.

The boy wasted no time in pulling Yoongi up, but as soon as Yoongi had his hand firmly on the railing, his other was ripped out of Hoseok's hand, as the younger fell back in a headlock, Seungmins arms wrapped too tight around his neck, "Seok-ah!" Yoongi screamed, pulling himself the rest of the way up.

Hoseok backed up, slamming his attacker into the patio doors creating enough leeway to speak through clenched teeth, "Yoongi...go...warn the others-" But his thought was cut short by Seungmin releasing his grip just enough the throw a fist to Hoseok's cheek.

"Hoseok!" Yoongi screamed, running towards them but Hoseok moved, kicking Seungmin with a force that caused him to rebound off the patio railing, "Yoongi go!"

But Yoongi was shaking his head, the cut on Hoseok's cheek from the punch already painting a line of red on his features, the younger looked towards Yoongi and spoke in a softer voice, a voice that sounded a lot more like his Hoseok, "Yoongi-ah, please, go warn them and I'll meet you down there."

"Promise me." Yoongi asked, it was more of a demand than anything, and Hoseok was about to speak, but another fist came crashing into his other cheek, causing him to stumble backwards, arms out protectively between Yoongi and Seungmin, as he yelled, "Go!"

And this time, the look in Hoseok's eyes was all the promise he needed. He ran, tears welling in his eyes as Hoseok cried out in pain just as the older sprinted past the bar's doors. Praying, praying for another miracle, that they would be okay, they'd make it out of this one just like how they had countless times before. They could make it out of this too.

As Yoongi ran down the stairs, tripping and scurrying with sweat running down his brows he thought of how tonight, they would reach for each other again. Yoongi would run his hands through Hoseok's hair, and Hoseok would hold Yoongi tight, they would fall asleep to the sounds of each other's heart beats, just like every night. Where they belonged. Where they needed to be.

Yoongi could feel the lightheadedness as he ran through the kitchen and into the café, the gas had no scent, but Yoongi knew it was stronger on the ground floor, and he didn't know how much longer he could hold out. But he would, for Hoseok he-

Click.

The boy stopped, just a few steps away from the doors, as his blood ran cold, he heard a guns safety being clicked off, and turning he saw none other than Seungmin. Alone.

His worst fear, his world, everything he hoped for, "H-Hoseok...where is he-"

"Dead."

There was nothing left, no strength, no will, just a hollow, a lonely, hollow, "You're lying."

Seungmins eyes alone had enough fuel to spark the flame needed to set the place on fire, "You won't have time to find out, we're all going to blow anyway. This is the most concentrated part in the building with methane, if I do something as simple as shoot this gun, boom."

Yoongi felt his knees grow weak, the possibility that Hoseok's heart had stopped, sending a fear in him that was unimaginable, tears uncontrollably spilling from his eyes, "If you hurt him. If you do this. The only evil here will be you."

"You're wrong." Seungmins eyes narrowed.

"What about Jeongin? Did you forget about him? How do you think he'd feel if he found out you'd died." Yoongi yelled back, his tears falling as he refused to believe it, Hoseok was alive he had just seen him. He had promised.

"Stop it he has nothing to do with this." the boy spat back, eyes growing angry as he aimed the gun towards Yoongi, "Get ready to join your hope boy."

Yoongi felt himself losing his grip, consciousness coming in and out of him like the waves on the sand. But maybe, if there was an afterlife, if Hoseok was there waiting for him, it wouldn't be so bad.

"I said-" An all too familiar voice came crashing in, locking Seungmins arm in his own, surprising the boy as the gun fell limp to the floor, "Leave him," kicking the gun away before slamming Seungmin to the ground, reaching down to hand cuff the boys hands together, "Alone."

Hoseok was breathing heavily, uneven, Yoongi could tell he was hurt but when he looked up, when they caught eyes, the world, Yoongi's world, started spinning again. There were sirens going off outside, the blue and red from the police lights filtering in through the cafes windows as Seungmin shouted, and flailed.

But Hoseok got up, "Yoongi-ah, are you okay-" He grunted, trying to walk towards the older, trying to, but his limp was bad, his breathing even worse. Yoongi's vision was blurring, but he reached out to Hoseok, "Seok-ah, Seok-ah-" But before he could continue, the younger collapsed. Yoongi knew he was crying, he knew he was fading fast, falling to his knees he crawled towards the younger, making it far enough to reach for his hand, still warm.

And that was enough, it always would be for Yoongi, as he closed his eyes, his mind, fading to the unconsciousness, of black.
