"Lara wake up!", he said.
"I want to sleep.", I said and tossed to the other side of the bed.
"Don't be a lazy goose! Wake up.", he said.
"I am not at all lazy.", I said and woke up.
"Get dressed. We shall go out."
I wore a white top and blue pant.
It was a long drive after which we came to a place which was looking marvelous.
"Wow! What is this?", I asked.
"Its Cathedral of Brasilian. I am surprised that you don't know about it Lara!", he said.
I smiled lamely.
I don't know anything in Brazil even if I stayed here since my childhood.
"How come you don't know about this church? Did you study abroad since childhood?", he asked.
Studies!!! The thing I loved but never had.
The thought was so depressing.
"No.", I said.
"I remember your mom mentioning that her elder daughter was studying abroad. But then she introduced you as her maid. It is so confusing!", he said.
Oh no! I don't want to talk about my past!
"Are we not going in?", I asked to divert his thoughts.
"Yeah let's go in. The mass will begin soon.", he said.
"You can share about your past with me whenever you are comfortable.", he added.
Thank God! But why should I share it with him when he said that we will be divorcing?
After the mass, Luiz took a lot of pictures of mine and we even took selfies.
"That's enough! I am hungry.", I said.
"Oh I am sorry. Let's go.", he said.
It was kind of late for breakfast so we decided to have brunch.
We entered into a very simple restaurant.
I was surprised that he had food even in simple restaurants like this.
"What?", he asked.
I didn't realize that I was staring at him.
"Nothing. I was just thinking that a person like you can have food in such simple restaurants too.", I said.
"What is the big deal? Food is a food and I am human. Instead, I like food in simple restaurants than the food in five-star hotels.", he said having his hot pot noodles.
I smiled.
After having brunch, Luiz was driving the car. But he was not going the usual way we came. It was a different way.
"Are you sure that we are going the right way?", I asked.
"Of course, we are. I am taking you to a different place.". he said.
Why is he being so nice to me?
We went to a place which looked like a huge park. We went inside. But to my surprise, there were a lot of animals.
It's a zoo!
"Come with me.", he said and held my hand.
My heartbeat skyrocketed. But I controlled.
My god! There were so many different species! I didn't know that few of these species even existed on the Earth. It was so good!
It was more than two hours and I was really tired.
"Luiz I can't walk anymore.", I said.
"What? That's it? You have such a low stamina.", he said.
"Yeah fine. Now let's go.", I said.
"Just some more time.", he said.
That some more time became few more hours.
He was so energetic and I hate him for that!
"Luiz are you planning to build your house here?", I asked irritated.
"Calm down Lara! We shall leave now.", he said.
Finally, it was almost evening when we left the place.
"Let's grab something on the way.", he said.
I didn't reply back. He made me walk so much in the zoo and I was angry.
"Are you angry?", he asked.
He was actually controlling his laugh.
I turned my face away and he burst out laughing.
Idiot!
We stopped at a place called Barista coffee bar.
The atmosphere was cozy.
I had coffee and a Nutella cigar. But Luiz was eating so much!
How can someone eat that much?
"You eat so less Lara.", he said.
Ohh I see.
I purchased white sneakers in the nearby shop.
Later, he took me to another place.
"ICE SKATING!!", I exclaimed.
"Are you going to do?", I asked him.
"Oh well! WE are going to do.", he said stressing the word we.
"No way. You gotta be kidding me.", I said twitching my mouth.
"Oh, you don't know how serious I am Lara.", he put a serious face and started laughing after sometime.
After a few minutes of argument, I finally agreed to what he said.
I wore the skating shoes. I looked at the kids and even a few adults who were skating on the ice flawlessly, to gain some motivation.
"Be fearless Lara!", he said.
He held my hand and I placed my first step on the ice brink.
"Oh no! It is so slippery!", I said.
"I know that. Now let's go.", he said and took me forward.
He helped for few minutes and he use to hold my waist while balancing which brought butterflies in my stomach.
After that he suddenly left my hands.
"Why did you leave my hand?", I shouted.
"Now manage yourself. You are able to balance now.", he said.
I tried to skate and within few seconds, I fell down.
Auch my butt!
Luiz was laughing like a mad man.
I tried to get up and fell again. I wasn't embarrassed as two more other people were also struggling like me.
For the tenth time, I got up and continued to skate.
After that, I don't know how many times I fell down and got and started skating again. But finally, I learnt skating and it was fun!
We both came out laughing.
"I felt adventurous.", I said.
"Okay. Thank me.", he said.
"You may get lost.", I said and started walking towards our car.
"You are not fair!", he said chuckling.
"Where are we going next?", I asked all excited after sitting in the car.
"We are going to home to have dinner. I miss the food you prepare and after that there are plans!", he said excitingly.
"Can't wait!", I said.
